Finding Love in the Boss’s Embrace After Divorce

Chapter 1506

Chapter 1506 An Unknown Medicine

On the other side, when Stacey woke up again, it was already late at night. She opened her eyes and looked at the darkness around her in a daze. Her vision was a little blurred. When she tried her best to open her eyes to see more clearly, the door of the room was suddenly pushed open from the outside.

"You're awake." A cold male voice sounded, and then the bright incandescent light above her head was turned on. "How do you feel?"

Stacey raised her hand and rubbed her eyes. Only then did she see the man walking towards her.

He was dressed in white, with a light blue shirt and black pants inside. He looked like a doctor, but his appearance was particularly scary. He didn't look kind at all, nor did he look like a doctor. She shrank back and looked around. This was a room without a window. She turned her head to look for something. The man stood by the bed and raised his hand. "Are you looking for this?" Stacey took a closer look and found that it was her phone.

She felt as if she had missed a step, and her heart was beating fast. She shrank into a corner in fear and said, "Give it back, give it back to me."

"Give you?" The man was lost in thought. Under her hopeful gaze, he suddenly threw her phone away.

Stacey felt her heart thrown out along with his hand. Looking at the mobile phone that fell to the ground in the distance, she desperately wanted to get it, but she didn't dare to move. "Who, who are you!?"

When she came to her senses, she remembered what had happened before she fainted. In the current situation, she had to be mentally prepared for the worst-she had been kidnapped.

"Does it matter who I am?" The man turned around and opened the bedside cabinet. He took out a silver tray with a disposable needle and two small bottles of medicine on it.

Stacey watched in horror as the man put on the white gloves. There was an evil smile on his face, which made her panic. "What are you going to do to me!?"

"You are sick. Of course, you need treatment."

"I'm not sick!" Stacey growled, but she could only watch him insert the needle into the medicine bottle and pull the liquid inside the syringe. "I don't need treatment. You're committing a crime!"

The man just glanced at her face and said, "You have to listen to the doctor. The patients won't know what's wrong with their body."

As he spoke, he stretched out his hand toward Stacey. "Come, give me your hand."

Stacey looked at the light-yellow liquid in the needle and trembled unconsciously. She shook her head crazily and begged, "No, please let me go. I don't know who you are at all. Why did you inject it into me..." The man didn't seem to want to talk nonsense with her. He raised his hand and rubbed the corners of his eyes, looking very tired. "If you aren't obedient, don't blame me."

After that, he turned slightly to the side and shouted at the door, "Come here, hold her down!"

A few seconds later, before Stacey could jump out of bed, two men had already broken in. They quickly pressed her back to bed as if they were going to break her wrist.

She watched as the man knelt on one knee on the bed, rolled up her sleeves to reveal the blood vessels between his arms, and gently wiped the disinfectant cotton swab that was stained with alcohol.

Stacey felt that she was like his experimental mouse, and tears immediately flowed out of her eyes. There was nothing but fear in her heart. "Who are you? Let me go. I can give you anything you want..." The man threw away the cotton swab in his hand and said softly, "It's a pity that we don't need anything."
