Finding Lilibeth

Chapter 8

Darren had been gone for a week already and was due back early morning. He was surprised about the reaction his eldest Dj had towards Lilibeth. He had been excited for a sister and couldn't wait to meet her. He made his father head home so he could get to know his daughter. Dj would be heading back in a few days so he too could meet his sister.

Lilibeth had spent a week being ignored and locked in her room by the five boys. If it wasn't for Miss Emma she would of had no food. She would take food to Lilibeth morning noon and night. She would also wash the outfits she had each day and return them to her. Darren had told Beau to take her shopping for the things she would need but he hadn't bothered. None of the boys had expect to warn her not to come out of her room.

In that week Lilibeth had spoken to Miss Emma and told her how she ended up with the broken arm. Miss Emma was horrified at how her mother had treated her and also at how she was being treated by her brothers. She would be having words with Mr Staples when he returned and she didn't care if she lost her job over it. No one deserved the way the boys were treating Lilibeth.

When Darren arrived home unexpectedly and all the boys were in the dining room he questioned where Lilibeth was. Just as Miss Emma went to speak she was cut off by Zac "she refused to come out of her room" Zac rushed out. All the other boys agreed quickly. "Right when was the last time she was out of her room?" Darren asked. "The morning before you left" Lex mumbled. "Emma go and get Lilibeth" Darren fumed out.

Emma was glaring at all the boys and when she attempted to speak, Darren cut her off. Emma knocked on Lilibeth's door gently as not to scare the girl. "Lilibeth your father is back and wants you downstairs" Emma said to the girl. Lilibeth looked worried, she was told she wasn't allowed to come out of her room and now she was requested downstairs. "I'm scared" Lilibeth whispered. "It's ok sweetheart" Emma tried to reassure the girl but she too was worried. She would have to speak with Mr Staples when she got back from doing the shopping.

Lilibeth made it to the dining room with all the boys including her father glaring at her. Her so called brothers in warning and her father in anger. "Lilibeth sit down" Darren gritted out. "I hear you have refused to come out of your room while I was away" Darren began. When Lilibeth tried to correct him she was cut off "don't interrupt me, you will be going out with Lex today. I won't tolerate this behaviour at all do I make myself clear" Darren fumed. Lex knew better then to say anything at all. He didn't want the little bitch with him but his father was in a mood and he didn't want to be on the receiving end of it. If anyone bothered looking at Lilibeth they would of seen the bags under her eyes from lack of sleep and that she had lost more weight.

Lilibeth made herself as small as she could in her seat which Zac seemed to notice frowning at her reaction. None of the boys were aware of the fact she had been abused her entire life and neither was Darren. He still hadn't bothered to read the file. "Hurry up and eat your breakfast we are leaving" Lex yelled at the girl when she was frozen in her seat. Zac went to reach for her to wake her out of her frozen state but she flinched away making him worry about what was going on. He didn't speak up though as he didn't know anything was wrong.

Ten minutes later Lex was screaming at Lilibeth to move. Lilibeth was struggling to get shoes on with a cast still on her arm. No one offered to help her at all. She silently cried, she was scared of what these people would do to her but didn't make a sound at all. Zac was still watching her and noticed the tears streaming down her face. He walked over to where she was struggling and helped her put her shoes on silently before Lex was dragging her out of the house. Zac couldn't work out why she was reacting like she was. She hadn't made a noise or reacted like that the entire week but then again he just saw her crying without making any noise at all and couldn't put his finger on why.

Lex dragged Lilibeth all the way to the park where he was meeting his mates. "Sit there bitch and don't fucken move or I swear to god I'll make you regret the day you were born" Lex spat at Lilibeth who sat on the bench with her head hanging. Lilibeth already did regret being born. Lex went over to his mates who were drinking and smoking joints and joined in. After a couple of hours Lex was off his face and saw Lilibeth sitting on the bench where he left her. He stumbled over to the girl ready to tell her what he thought.

Lex pushed Lilibeth off the bench "you fucken little dog. Why the fuck were you born? You are a waste of space and no one wants you around. Not even your mum wanted you" Lex laughed out. Lilibeth hadn't moved from the ground where Lex had pushed her, scared he would do more if she tried to get up. She curled herself into a ball to protect her head incase he struck her. "The only reason my dad took you in is for his reputation but don't worry I'm sure you will be happy to know he went away to find a buyer for you. He sold your arse and we will be rid of you soon enough" Lex laughed out. His friends had filmed what was happening laughing along with Lex and what he was doing to the unknown girl. Lex kicked Lilibeth in the arm which had a cast on it and then walked away to grab another drink.
