Finding Destiny

Today is the day I finally sit down with my old friend. This will be an interesting reunion. Viktor pulls the car into the parking lot of the Tower Lounge and parks the car. “Trey, we have arrived. Get ready to exit the car.” He gets out of the car, walks to my side, and opens the door. I climb out, and we both head to the front entrance, where the security stands. “Hello, I am here to see Slogan.”

“And what is your name?

“My name is Trey, and he is expecting me.” The security went on his radio announcing my arrival. Once he received clearance, I was led into the place. It was highly dim inside. Barely any lights. The aura was dark and unwelcoming. You knew this was a place for the unknown. Only they would find this place normal. At the back of the lounge was a booth; sitting in that booth was none other than my old friend Slogan.

“Well, if it isn’t the son of a bitch that deserted me centuries ago. Hello Trey!”

“Hello, Slogan, my old friend.”

“Ha, I don’t know about us being friends, but please have a seat, Trey.” I take a seat cautiously not to piss him off. I know he is still upset. “So, tell me, Trey, why should I even consider helping you? You should be dying right now and begging me for mercy.”

“You have every right to be mad at me, Slogan. My situation changed that day long ago. You do not know my entire story. I am not just a Mage anymore. I am also Bampire.” I could tell he was intrigued by what I was telling him, so I continued.

“When I left, I had just been turned and had no choice but to follow my Bampire Queen. Look, I will show you.” I removed my sunglasses, which I had on to cover my eyes. They were an electric blue, and they glowed brightly. I let my fangs extract, and my claws enlarged to show him I was telling him the truth. “Now, do you believe me, Slogan?” He smirked before saying, “you are magnificent, Trey. You should have told me this a long time ago. I would have been able to help you, and you would probably still have been here and not left.”

“I know Slogan, but I was a newborn then, so I had no choice but to follow her. The sad part is I fell in love with the bitch, but she did not reciprocate the same feelings I had for her. I was tired of being her puppet, and I finally killed her. However, my daughter fell in love with her son, who is her mate. She was going to tell him my plans to kill her if she did not accept me. I could not let that happen. Therefore, I had my men take her and ship her home until I arrived. Now he is after her, and I need to get rid of my daughter before he can find her. I am running out of time, Slogan. He is a mated Bampire, those kinds of bonds are powerful and he will cause hell once he finds her. A mated bond that is broken can make you go, mad when you lose a loved one and I am not in the mood to entertain the tantrums of this teenager. I need to be gone by then, and she needs to be far away from any civilization here on this planet.”

“Your guy named Viktor told me about her. I have somebody who would be interested, but it will cost you, Trey. You will have to pay me for your services, and I am not cheap.”

“I figured that much. You know money is not an issue for me, Slogan.”

“No, this is where you are wrong, Trey. I know nothing about you because you and I are no longer friends and have not been for a long time. I also do not know your financial situation. Or wish to know. If you want my help, meet me tomorrow at the same time with Nine billion six hundred fifteen Ron Leu. Then I will help you rid of your daughter. I do have someone who will be interested in buying your daughter. But that discussion is for another day. Once I have been paid for my services. If you want this to happen, I will see you tomorrow. Goodbye, Trey.” without saying another word Slogan got up and walked away.

Marcus

We had just arrived in Bucharest, and I had to erase the captain’s memories so I would not have to kill him. I walk off the ship and see a homeless man sitting on a crate with a hand sign saying spare change for food. I walked toward him. “Excuse me, but have you seen a group of men with a girl come off the ship in the last couple of days.” He said, “yes, I have, they went up that road and they drove into the town.” I told him, “Thank you.” walking in the direction he told me.

Once I was in the clear of all humans, I let Morpheus out, and we began to run through the road until we reached the top of the hill that led into the town. Morpheus, I will let you take over inside me. It’s time to cause trouble. I ascended down the hill and into town. “Are you looking for a girl brought here by men?” I turn around to see an old lady speaking to me. This was no coincidence that she knew I was looking for someone. “Yes, how do you know I am looking for a girl?”

“I was told to wait for you here, sir, that a man will be coming here looking for the Ardelean child. Which must be you since we do not get visitors in this part of town.”

“Then where is she, old lady? I am in no mood for games.”

“I was told to tell you that the man you seek is at the end of the town staying in the last inn called black oak. It is located near the woods that lead you into the mountains. His name is Howard, and he is the one that hurt and abused the girl. If you want to find her, you must seek him first.” As she pointed her finger in the direction, I should follow. I nod at the old lady and walk away from her before I do something I will regret to her.

My turmoil is at its highest, and I have found my first victim—the one who hurt and touched my mate. After I kill this Bampire or human named Howard, I will be coming for you, Trey.
