Find Me In Your Labyrinth

Chapter 84

Chapter 84
Jonathan’s long eyes were usually cold and indifferent. He nodded, “Alright, if I see Charlie, I’ll talk to him about it.”
Sabina didn’t dare to ask him to make the call right away. The fact that he agreed to help was enough for her. She smiled and
said softly, “Thank you, Mr. Lamont. Go ahead with your work, I’ll excuse myself.”
Jonathan nodded slightly and continued reading the document in his hand.
After Sabina left the CEO’s office, she immediately called Leonie and told her that she had talked to Jonathan and he had agreed
to help Sallie.
Leonie was over the moon, thanking her non–stop, “Sabina, you’re so capable! I’m really grateful. As long as Sallie gets out
safely, my husband and I will remember your kindness forever”
“We’re a family, don’t mention it. I need to get back to work now” Sabina said politely before hanging up. The corner of her lips
skimmed a mocking and arrogant arc, then she walked back to her office in high heels.
Leonie thought that with Sabina’s help, the issue would be resolved quickly. But after one day, two days, three days... Sallie was
still locked up in the police station.
A week passed in the blink of an eye. When Leonie went to see Sallie, her daughter’s appearance had changed completely. She
looked hollow–eyed, pale, and her eyes were filled with fear, no longer as arrogant as before. “Mom, I want to leave, I don’t want
to stay in here anymore!”
“Mom, you gotta get me out of here!”
Leonie was heartbroken. She called Sabina again, but Sabina didn’t answer.
Back home, Leonie scolded Sabina brutally
Today was Saturday, and Estelle stayed for lunch at the Lamont family.
Coincidentally, the kitchen staff had made one delicious soup that Estelle loved, and she drank a whole bowl in one go.
Jonathan’s eyes scanned her luscious lips and he whispered. “If you like it, have the kitchen pack some for you to take home.”

“Huh?” Estelle was startled and immediately shook her head, “No, thank you”
“It’s just some soup, take it home. Otherwise, you’ll have to eat the awful food you make for dinner again.” Henson scoffed.
Jonathan asked a servant to pack the soup for Estelle to take with her later.
Estelle didn’t say anything more, just smiled and thanked the two of them.
Suddenly, her phone rang. She stepped aside to answer it. It was Hans, asking Estelle to help save his sister
Although Hans was angry at Sallie for what she did, he was still worried and heartbroken to see Leonie crying all the time.
After all, that was his sister He didn’t know who else he could turn to, so he called Estelle again.
Estelle didn’t promise to help, but she comforted Hans a bit before hanging up.
Back at the table, Henson asked, “Was that Hans?”
The three of them had become friends after spending time playing games together
Estelle replied, “It was. His sister is in some trouble.”
Henson nodded. “No wonder he hasn’t been around lately.”
Jonathan, listening to the two taking, and asked, “Is it Stanley’s daughter?”
Estelle nodded. “Yeah, did you know about that?”
Jonathan replied indifferently. Tve heard a little bit about it.”
Sabina had asked for his help earlier, but because Charlie was out of the country, he didn’t pay much attention to it. He had been
very busy with work this week and had almost forgotten about the matter
He raised his eyebrows at Estelle “Are you and that Hans guy close?”
Este ad her feelings well and responded “We get along well enough He’s quite sensible”
Hans was young but very smart before Sallie got into trouble, he had already sensed that Baber was trying to scam them.

Jonathan lowered his head to drink his soup casually asking is there anything I can do to help?”
