Chapter Chapter Nineteen: another Briareve day
Next on my list was my class with Ash. I had changed into my sportswear and was heading towards the training room where he had my one-on-one class arranged. It was the final class of my first day and I was already so tired I could just keel over on the spot.
I walked into the private gym. It looked like a judo training room with padded floors. I also spotted some boxing bags in the corner and the entire wall was a big mirror.
Ash had his hair in a bun on top of his head. He was wearing black boxing shorts and a black tee. He was barefooted. ‘There she is.’
He smiled enthusiastically at me and took my bag from my shoulder. He placed it in the corner and motioned me over.
‘Let me take a look at you.’ He grabbed my shoulders with both hands, them feeling scorching hot against my chilled exposed skin and his eyes went from my earringless ears to my sneakers and nodded approvingly.
‘No jewelry good, remove the shoes.’ I did as he asked. Still, his assessment of me felt a little intrusive, since he took his time letting his gaze wander all over my body.
His eyebrows were slightly raised and his nostrils flared. The sportswear I was wearing was a lot more revealing than I would have been in my underwear. He composed himself visibly and added on a serious note. ‘I understood you already have a lot more than basic training.’ He cracked his knuckles. I glanced up at him and nodded. ‘Brown belt in Krav Maga but I haven’t trained in years. So I might be a little rusty.’
The corners of his mouth lifted up slightly in an approving way. ’We will find out today. Now there is something you need to know about my lessons. I will not go lightly on a beautiful human girl. I will fight as I would fight any other student. You are here to learn, not to be cuddled. Although that sounds appealing as well.’ He smirked at me. The crooked smile was just about killing me. Was every Rainer a big flirt?
‘I would expect nothing else…’ I added ignoring that last remark. Still puzzling over his compliment.
‘Now say… I’m a fae and I want to abduct you and lock you up in my sex dungeon. How would you fight me off?’ he grinned at my shocked expression at the mention of a sex dungeon.
Hey, still a freaking virgin over here
He turned me around so I was facing away from his front. I saw in the mirror that he was approaching me from behind.
He put his right arm underneath my throat, pinning me to his chest. While the other went over my stomach. My body made an exquisite clenching motion at this contact with this handsome man and I cursed myself for feeling attracted to him.
He was my professor for god’s sake.
Trying to impress him I did the move my former teacher had taught me over and over again. I sidestepped, elbowed his lower back, and swiftly locked myself out of his embrace, and had my leg ready to kick his from under him. Thinking we were just playing, I had not anticipated on him grabbing my leg and flipping me on my back. I let out a surprised grunt because the impact came harder than expected.
‘That was not half bad Lux. If you would have gone through with your kick that is.’ He offered me a hand and I took it.
He pulled me up. My back hurt already. Feeling a little upset about his swift maneuver I puckered up for another round. ‘Yeah well… let’s go then. I’m ready to try again.’
He laughed at my spunk and launched another attack. Which I could block easily. He was still holding back. ‘You told me you would not hold back.’ I protested and dropped my fists.
The sparkling in his eye told me enough.
He attacked me one more time, I was unprepared again. He swung me over his shoulder in a twist and my arm was painfully slung back as I crashed against the floor one more time.
‘You don’t fight fair!’ I hissed at him as I was rubbing my left side, which hurt all the way up and down from his last act.
‘Fae nor Rainer ever play fair. That’s the first lesson of my class little sweet cheeks.’ I scowled at him. Still on the floor.
‘Ow, did I hurt your feelings?’ he crouched down. Clearly not caring that I was upset with him. I take back my words. He was not the nice twin.
He took my chin again and made me look into his sky-blue eyes. ‘You mad at me, sweet cheeks?’
His tone dropped to a gentle one. I couldn’t tell if he was serious or not. He had dropped all of his expression.
‘It takes a lot more to get me angry Asher.’ I hissed at him. He offered me his hand. But I got up on my own.
Ignoring the pain I turned my back on him like he did to me last night and strutted out of that training room.
