Chapter 799 Only Had Eyes For Her
Every young lady loved adorable stuff, and Skylar was no exception.
Tobias found the decorative stickers too old-fashioned. He didn't think the cat was pretty at all.
Despite his dislike for the stickers, he wasn't going to ask Skylar to remove them. She was the mistress of the house, and he would respect her preference.
Skylar arrived home late at night, still wearing her stage makeup and the super short pants she had worn during the performance. Her legs, renowned as some of the most beautiful in the celebrity world, were long and captivating. She paired them with a crystal-embellished beige top, showcasing her flawless waist and back. Any man who saw her would definitely be aroused.
Seated on the couch, Tobias had an arm propped against the armrest, his chin cradled in his palm as he fixated his gaze upon Skylar.
"The weather is too chilly for you to have your thighs exposed. Why did you return dressed in such an outfit?" Tobias remained dissatisfied with Skylar's choice of attire both on and offstage. Does she believe life is nothing but a stage?
Skylar looked down and tugged at her nude tights. "I didn't expose my thighs. Look, I'm wearing nude leggings. Many young people wear this nowadays. You don't know fashion at all."
Tobias closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He might not understand fashion, but he knew he didn't want others to see Skylar clad in such a sexy outfit.
His voice turned cold as he instructed, "Do not wear something like that in public. You may wear it for me but not for others to see."
Skylar was taken aback by Tobias' sudden transformation. She had no inkling when he had adopted such domineering behavior.
She offered a half-hearted nod in acknowledgment, but deep down, she couldn't guarantee her compliance. Being an actress, she had little control over her wardrobe choices. Most of her outfits were determined by others, such as the organizers or sponsors.

After taking a shower, she stepped out of the bathroom wearing her new nightdress. Despite the chilly weather outside, the well-heated house created a cozy atmosphere. The ambiance was so pleasant that she couldn't discern whether it was cold or warm.
Slowly, she used her hairdryer to dry her hair. Her hair had grown quickly. Once short and grazing her ears, her locks had now extended gracefully, reaching her collarbone.
After drying her hair, she placed the hairdryer back on the rack. That was when she noticed a change-her usual hairdryer had been replaced. This morning, before leaving for work, it certainly wasn't the Dyson model that now stood before her.
She had relied on her old, inexpensive hairdryer for quite some time. She distinctly remembered purchasing that high-voltage hairdryer during her university years.
Skylar was sure that her old hairdryer was pretty cheap. After all, she couldn't afford anything over fifty back at university.
Grabbing the new hairdryer, she set off in search of Tobias. In her haste, she neglected to put on her slippers and carelessly stepped onto the cool marble floor. With her feet still damp, she stumbled and nearly lost her balance.
If Tobias hadn't caught her in time, she would've crashed onto the ground unceremoniously.

the bathroom, finding Skylar's slippers underneath the basin. He took the slippers and went back Skylar. Bending down, he said softly, "Why didn't you put on your slippers? The floor is slippery. I don't want to bring you to the hospital late at night."
Skylar placed the hairdryer on the table, but Tobias' gaze never wavered from her.
