Fate’s Second Chance Chapter 11
Chapter 11
Salome looked up and coincidentally caught the hint of coldness in his eyes.

The group passed her by, all focusing their attention on Isaac, and the leader even
behaved super politely toward the man, looking like he wanted to suck up to Isaac but
dared not for fear of offending him. As for the rest of the crowd behind them, they were
all dressed in suits.
This was an unfamiliar circle she had never been in before.
After standing on the spot for a while, she carried her golf bag and went out.
Tyson Hill, who looked like any other average Joe, was dressed fully in a branded sports
outfit. He hit the golf ball, and it made a beautiful arc and landed effortlessly into the
hole. When he saw her, he handed the club to a nearby caddy.
“Miss Penny, your schedule sure is hard to arrange.”
Salome smiled gracefully and sat down next to him, saying, “You sure have a great
sense of humor, Mr. Tyson. I’m just a jack of all trades.”
As they spoke, the staff nearby began to clear the area, indicating that an important
figure was about to arrive.

Tyson noticed her gaze and couldn’t help but boast, “You know about the Anderson
Group, right? My dad organized a golf game today, and the collaboration is worth at
least thirty billion.”
Salome had her fair share of clients who loved to brag, and her experience taught her
best to just compliment them.
“I heard the land you purchased last year cost 42 million alone. Surely thirty billion is
nothing to the young boss of Wonda Bank, no?”
A hint of satisfaction flashed in Tyson’s eyes, and he smirked, “I wouldn’t say thirty
billion is a drop in the bucket either. But Wonda Bank is the first to collaborate with
Isaac Anderson on his return this time. It still carries some weight, does it not?”
“Mr. Anderson’s return to the country has indeed caused quite a sensation.” Salome’s
praise for Isaac was at the perfect degree.

As Tyson accepted the water handed to him by the caddy, he walked toward the grass,
and Salome had no choice but to follow.
“He has. But according to my father, he’s a married man.”
“Is he? Mr. Anderson doesn’t seem like the marrying type.” Salome took out her golf
club and matched Tyson’s rhythm. Since her client had a thing for gossip, she would go
along with it.

“I don’t think so either. I mean, why wouldn’t he bring his wife out if he really is married?
Unless she’s so ugly that she can’t be seen.”
Salome paused her swing for a moment, then quickly readjusted, “Who knows.”
Tyson saw her ponytail create a graceful arc in the air, and her skin shimmered in the
sunlight. His Adam’s apple couldn’t help but bob. “I bet Mr. Anderson would want to
take you everywhere if he married a beauty like you.”
“You flatter me, Mr. Tyson. I’m not that lucky.”
The two chatted casually and played a few more strokes until Tyson said he wanted to
take a break.
Salome wanted to take the chance to ask about the deal, but before she could speak,
he said, “We’ve sweated a lot playing golf. Should we get changed first?”
It is indeed somewhat inappropriate to talk business like this, she mused.
Salome had just changed her clothes and exited after a quick shower when the door
was pushed open.
She frowned in response. The changing rooms were separate, so she thought it was
rude that someone would enter without even knocking.

At that, she looked to the door. It wasn’t some staff but Tyson standing there in all his
glory in nothing but a bath towel.
He didn’t have a muscular physique; it was evident that he indulged in alcohol and
women all year round.

Salome quickly realized something was off, and she noted warily. “I believe you’re in the
wrong room, Mr. Tyson. This is the ladies‘ changing room.”
Tyson smirked in response and sized her up unabashedly. “Has anyone ever told you
how beautiful you are?”
As he spoke, he approached her with a smirk on his face. “You’ve always been
dismissive whenever I tried to schedule an appointment with you in the past. To think.
you’d be so eager this time. Are you short on money?”
At that, Salome took a step back, warning, “Mr. Tyson, please show some respect.”
Her cold and indifferent demeanor was precisely what hit Tyson. Women were best
when they had some spirit, as it would be more fun and exciting when they fought
back.
“Don’t worry. I’ll add another few million to your design fee if you serve me well.”
A hint of disgust flashed across Salome’s eyes as she made her way to the exit, but

much to her dismay, Tyson shackled her waist speedily and taunted, “My people are in
the corridor. Do you think you can escape just like this?”

With such a beauty in his arms, Tyson could hardly contain his desire to pin her down.
“I never intended to escape, but Mr. Tyson, are you sure you want to do it here?” Salome
took a deep breath and kept calm. She knew she wasn’t a match for him physically, and
his people were waiting right outside. “It’s not every day Wonda Bank has a chance to
talk business with Mr. Isaac Anderson. You can’t let the collaboration fall short at the
last second because of your impulses, can you?”
“Are you suggesting that Isaac Anderson will call off the collaboration with Wonda
Bank because of you?” Tyson sneered after sizing her up.
“Yes,” she answered readily, stumping Tyson momentarily. “Who is Isaac Anderson to
you?”
“He’s my husband.”
Tyson burst into laughter, but he heard Salome’s next words, “I can call him right now if
you don’t believe me.”
The smile on Tyson’s face froze at once. If Salome isn’t lying, Isaac Anderson wouldn’t
be happy to find his wife alone in the changing room with another man, would he? If
anything, he wouldn’t want his dignity as a man to be disgraced either, even if he didn’t

like her.

He couldn’t be sure, so he dared not touch her, and his face became sullen. Eventually,
he loosened his grip.
Salome had bet on his hesitation, and she sighed in relief.
Then, she quickly grabbed her belongings and opened the changing room door, only to
freeze at once.
She felt a surge of warmth flooding over her from behind as she gazed at the
approaching figure in the corridor.
