Chapter 21: Jasper
The look on that Wolf's face was priceless!
Jasper chuckled to himself as he made his way over to the motel he was crashing in just outside the city. He barely got away in time, but it was worth it. The rage. Anguish. The torment. Jasper felt himself harden as he entered his dark room. He glanced around as he turned on the light, his eyes lighting up as he looked at all the pictures of Lily on his walls. She was smiling, crying, screaming. She was clean, dirty, bloodied. He looked at the more recent pictures that he took of her, sleeping soundly in the Werewolf's home, unaware that he had been watching her sleep for sometime. He was grateful that he could disguise his scent while trespassing. But now he knew the Wolf would be on edge. He would look for him around every corner, under every rock. And he'll be enjoying every moment of the one side race while he relishes the old times with Lily again.
"I needed this chase. I was getting bored with your lifeless eyes, but now you started a fire that won't easily get put out.” He licked his lips as he took down a picture of her screaming. He dropped his pants and worked his cock with his hand.
"We'll start again. I'll listen to your cries, your pleas, your screams. Repeatedly.” He groaned loudly as he released himself onto the photo. It wasn't enough. He set that one aside and grabbed another, stroking his shaft again. He finished, yet it still wasn't enough. Wasn't real enough.
He tossed the picture down, taking out his phone and started a video. Lily was crying for him to stop as he raped her again and again. He shivered as he let himself go, turning up the volume as loud as he dared. This was just a stepping stone to the real thing.
The sun shone in through the dirty curtains as he rolled over, pictures sticking to his body and his phone dead beside him. He peeled off each picture carefully, putting them back on the wall before showering. He vaguely remembered last night as the ecstasy he felt took over his mind. Today was the day. Today he would have Lily again, and continue the fun they shared.
He stepped out, grumbling as the sun glared brighter than normal. One annoyance as a Vampire. He put on his sunglasses as he locked his door behind him. Where should he start first? Go straight away?
No, security would be tight right now. Tighter than ever since they have some event planned today. A festival of some sort. Whatever those mutts worship on their days off.
"Speaking of mutt, I guess I can't return to the cunt's house as her butler now. I'm sure that Wolf of hers already intercepted. No matter.” He brushed his fingers through his hair, the blonde darkening until it was pure black. His freckles disappeared, and a goatee replaced it. From a distance, he would appear as a normal human, but at a closer inspection, anyone with a high enough intelligence could see right through his trick, but no one ever did. Not even that stupid Wolf.
"Let's get this party started.” He smirked as he got into his car and headed off. From what he gathered, he knew the gates would be open right away as most shops start their own festivities ahead of time. When he drove around a bend, there was already a line of cars forming to get inside. Oh? Outside invitation? Infiltration will be a breeze then.
After waiting an hour in line, he drove up to the security booth, and a guard stepped forward. Jasper put on his best smile he could muster while inhaling the stench of the Wolf.
"Are you here for the festival?" He asked, looking already tired of asking the same question over and over. Jasper continued smiling and held up Lily's book.
"Yeah, I was hoping to get my book signed by Miss Thornstun.” He said. The guard only nodded and waved him through.
That was too easy.
He drove through the familiar streets until he spotted the bookshop. The doors appeared to be closed still, but a line was forming outside already. Meshing with the crowd will be a breeze.
Jasper pulled into a parking lot, looking around at the crowded sidewalks and streets. He reached over to his glove box, pulling out a small wooden case. He ran his fingers over it before opening to show a revolver inside. Jasper laid it across his palm, checking the weight of it. Two bullets. Silver bullets. That's all he could afford, but it'll be worth it once he put that mutt down for good.
After putting the gun under his waist band carefully, he headed off. He meshed in with the crowd. The Wolves. He still couldn't believe how easy this was, but he kept a mental note to keep an eye out for security.
He walked around for a while, grabbing a bland burger from a fast food place, when he noticed arrows directing people toward the school. He hadn't had his dose of blood in so long. Jasper could take an innocent bystander, but none would compare to her blood. So sweet. He drooled as he thought about it as he followed the arrows.
"Did you hear about the Alpha yesterday?" A woman lowered her voice to the man beside her.
"He almost shifted in an alley, right? I heard he was being delusional and clawing the air.” He said to her. Rumors fired up as he walked by, making him smirk.
"Do you think he's fit to rule? Maybe we should go to Florida.” The woman continued their conversation as he walked away. An unstable King, an unstable ruler. Jasper got his own people to question him without the intention.
"There's a woman that stays with him." Another woman whispered. He listened closely to them. "Some Human woman. Chelsea has been pretty livid about it. Do you think she's his Mate?" Another woman in her group asked. Chelsea. The wench that hired him to follow Lily around. Unfortunate that their deal had to come to a close so soon.
"It's pretty rare for a Wolf to Mate with a Human, but it's not impossible. Could explain why he hasn't left his home for the last month or so now."
"True, he's been out and about frequently in the last week to help with preparations and whatnot.” "You two didn't hear yet? They're making an announcement at the school about that woman he's with." One of the quieter women chipped in. Jasper looked at the arrows that directed everyone toward the school. With a large enough crowd, he could easily slip in undetected and be so close to Lily again. He inhaled deeply, feeling his fangs sharpen slightly as he smiled to himself. In due time.
