Chapter 134
Although I would never ever admit that to them. They can take their bimbo from the restaurant, since the beta bimbo is out of order. My taunting has the desired effect when I hear 2 very low growls, almost not audible, but I caught it. I am not in the mood for any more drama, though. I just want to enjoy myself while the buzz lasts.
'I would like to enjoy Them while our buzz lasts... yummie' Liberty adds, and I have to stifle a laugh. I guess she and Justice are tipsy with me. I grab Nadia's hand and drag her towards the dancefloor, when one of my favorite party jams comes on. Italobrothers - stamp on the ground. "LET'S DANCE!"
I yell excitedly to Nadia, who is smiling back at my enthusiasm. Stamp on the ground, jump jump jump jump! Move it all around, tep de de dow! And as I move around, I bump into none other than the guy from earlier, Felix. Isn't his name a cat food brand? I think it is.
Instead of feeling frightened, which might be the more logical response to having a stalker, I smirk at him. Raising an eyebrow, I ask "can't get enough, can you? Felix - the cat food brand?".
He lets out a genuine, full belly laugh, showing his perfect set of pearly whites. He steps a little closer to me, before replying "I guess I can't, no. Maybe I am intrigued by this little one calling herself a nightmare?".
All the while he is looking into my eyes with those bright ones of his. Amusement is written all over his features, and I realize once more this man is no threat. In fact - he is flirting with me? My face automatically contorts at being called a little one though. "Call me little one, one more time, and I'll show you how I earned that nickname" I give a lopsided grin at the end, before turning my attention back to Nadia and my back towards Felix (the cat food brand, ha!).
As the music shifts to a more sensual song, pitbull - hey baby, I feel someone coming up close behind me. Before I can register, mr. cat food has his body pressed against mine with his hands resting on my hips, swaying to the music. I freeze, not sure what to do. "Dance with me" he almost commands in my ear.
I don't do commands normally, but the alcohol is still clouding my judgement, so I don't rebut. "Are you sure you want to dance with a girl you don't know the species of? We could be natural enemies" I speak into his ear, which is right next to my face as he took the liberty to place his head on my shoulder. He is bold, I have to give him that.
He just shrugs "I believe we get to decide ourselves who our enemies are, and not let it be dictated by our ancestors". "Smart man" I compliment him, which makes him break out in a wide smile.
"That being said, your little harem seems very protective of you. Interesting dynamics you have there with the heirs from 2 kingdoms. I wonder what they would do if they found us dancing".
I smirk while casually replying "they would try to rip your head off probably". I expected him to flinch, freeze, or react in any way at all. But he doesn't. He just grins mischievously at me while rocking our bodies to the music. "If your plan was to scare me off, I have to disappoint and say your plan backfired. All the more interesting for me to win you over instead".
