Chapter 1

“We’ve made a huge mistake, Miss Ella…” The gynecologist’s voice trailed off, her eyes filled with apology. Ella’s brow furrowed in confusion. “I don’t understand, Doctor. I came in for a routine check-up.”

The doctor hesitated, her hands fidgeting with the file. You were mistaken for another patient, Bella… and… well… we inseminated you with the wrong sperm sample.”

Ella’s heart raced as she glanced at her watch, her modeling portfolio shoot suddenly forgotten. “What?! How is that even possible?”

The doctor took a deep breath, her expression somber. “Our procedures have a 90% success rate, and given your age and fertility, we suspect you might be pregnant. It was also your fertile window. And to make matters worse, it’s been 20 days since the procedure, so…”

Ella’s eyes widened in shock, her mind reeling. “Pregnant?! But… how could you be so careless?” The doctor’s face contorted in guilt, her voice barely above a whisper. “I’m so sorry, Ella. We’ll do everything we can to support you through this.”

“What!? I can’t believe this!” Ella looked stunned. “Pregnant? But I’ve never even had sex!”

The doctor apologized profusely. “We’re so sorry, Ella, Please, can you take a pregnancy test? If you pregnant, we’ll help you terminate the pregnancy and your body will return to normal.” Ella’s face reflected her shock and disbelief. “Abortion? Absolutely not! I won’t kill a child!” The doctor pressed on, trying to convince Ella to consider the abortion to protect the company’s reputation. “But are you emotionally stable enough to handle a pregnancy? You don’t even have a job right now.”

Ella’s tears flowed as she stood up, her hand on her chest. “And I have a modeling career ahead of met This can’t be happening!” She took a deep breath and nodded. “Fine, I’ll take the test.

The doctor exhaled in relief, hoping that this would solve the problem and maintain her company’s reputation. “Thank you Ella.”

The doctor instructed a nurse to collect Ella’s blood and urine samples. Soon, the results would be ready within a few hours. “Please inform me of the results. I have an important modeling shoot to attend. I need to leave.”

“Of course, the doctor replied. “If you’re pregnant, we’ll schedule an appointment for the abortion. You won’t face any issues.” She spoke empathetically. “Also, Ella, please keep this confidential. Don’t reveal this information to anyone.

“But who is the father of the baby? Who donated the sperm?” Ella asked curiously.

“I’m afraid we can’t disclose that information due to the contract,” the doctor said softly. “Don’t worry about him. We’ll inform him that the insemination process failed. He won’t know about this.” The doctor handed Ella a form. “Please write your contact information and address on this form.

Ella filled out the form and quickly stood up, eager to leave.

“I better get going.” Ella walked out of the clinic, her hands instinctively planted-on her stomach as if to shield it from the truth. “I cannot be pregnant. I cannot feel a thing.” She shunned away the thought, trying to shake off the lingering fear as she walked towards her old Honda car in the parking area.

30 minutes later, Ella stood in a long queue, waiting for her turn to be auditioned, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of her first major modeling audition. Suddenly, her phone rang, piercing the air like a warning bell. “Oh, it’s from the clinic.” She picked up the call, her heart racing with anticipation. “Yes, doctor?” she asked, trying to sound calm despite the turmoil brewing inside.

“Ella, the results are out. You are indeed pregnant.” The doctor’s words cut through the air like a knife, leaving Ella gasping for breath. “It’s only been a few days, and we can still abort the child. Please come to

the clinic as soon as possible.” The doctor’s voice was laced with panic, sending Ella’s heart into a frenzy. “What?” Ella gasped, her hand flying to her stomach as if to protect the tiny life growing inside. “Pregnant? Are… are you sure?” she stammered, her mind reeling with the implications.

“Yes, we are very sure about this,” the doctor replied, her tone firm but laced with a hint of urgency. “We don’t want any complications with the donor of the sperm. He’s a powerful man, Ella. Please, come quickly and get over with this.”

Ella’s world came crashing down around her. The audition, her modeling career, everything faded into the background as she grappled with the reality of her situation. She felt like she was standing on the edge of a cliff, staring into an abyss of uncertainty.

Meanwhile, in one of the city’s tallest skyscrapers, a man sat on a black leather office chair, his piercing gaze fixed on two men dressed in black suits. They trembled under his intense glare, their legs quivering like leaves.

“We… we are deeply sorry, sir,” one of them stammered, his voice barely audible. “We confirmed the appointment, but somehow it was canceled at the last minute.”

The other man spoke up, trying to salvage the situation. “We apologize, sir. We can reschedule the

ppointment immediately.”

The man sitting on the chair, Evan Trump, fiddled with a thick paperweight, his eyes blazing with fury. Suddenly, he slammed it onto the glass window next to them, shattering the silence.

“SMASHHHHH

“C**KKK!!”

The sound echoed through the room, making the two men flinch. Evan Trump’s face turned red with rage as he stood up, his knuckles cracking as he slammed his fists on the table.

“You incompetent fools! You wasted my time and humiliated me in front of my opponent! You’re lucky I don’t fire you on the spot!”

His voice boomed through the room, leaving no doubt about his authority. “Call that CEO right now! I want him in my office within 30 minutes for the merger! I don’t tolerate disobedience! I am Evan Trump the most powerful man in the country, and I always get what I want!”

The two men scurried out of the room, knowing they had to act fast to avoid facing the wrath of Evan Trump again.

Just moments later, a knock at the door signaled the arrival of two maids, who quickly set to work cleaning the shattered glass from the carpet. They worked with precision, ensuring not a single shard remained. Eva Trump, the CEO, was notorious for his OCD and obsession with cleanliness and orderliness. He was the most hardworking man in the nation, and his reputation for being ruthless unforgiving preceded him.

As the maids stood up, about to leave, Evan slammed down the phone, his gaze fixed on the carpet, “You’re both fired!” he bellowed, his voice echoing through the room. I see two tiny glass pieces shining brightly, mocking mel

He strode towards the carpet, his eyes blazing with fury and picked up a minute piece of glass. The maids cowered, knowing they were in the presence of a man who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. “S… sorry, sir,” one of the maids stammered, her lips pursed in fear,

The other maid quickly scrambled to pick up the remaining piece of glass, her hands trembling as she tried to avoid fainting in Eva’s intimidating presence. The tension was palpable, and the air was thick with the weight of Eva’s wrath.
