Falling For My Mysterious Wife by Cassidy Alfaro

Chapter 469

Chapter 469 "Grandpa," Elaina called out.
Since Steven ignored Elaina, Elaina ignored him too. She looked directly at Nitzan and walked toward him with a smile.
Nitzan smiled and nodded. ' Ella, you haven't come to see me for a long time."
"Grandpa, you know that I am busy. Please don't be angry with me." Elaina also smiled. The two of them got along very well.
Those who didn't know would think that Elaina was still his granddaughter-in-law.
"I know. I won't be angry with you." Of course, Nitzan was not stupid. He knew better than anyone why Elaina did not come to the
Halton's residence.
As the two of them spoke, Steven and Jalen were sitting in the living room. They did not speak and just heard Elaina and Nitzan
talking and laughing.
"Grandpa, shall we go to the study to have a chat?" After exchanging greetings, Elaina was ready to get to business. She had
come with a purpose today.
Nitzan was a little surprised, but he did not refuse. "Okay."
He got up and looked at Jalen and Steven, who were sitting there. "You two go to the kitchen. Tell the kitchen to prepare some
dishes that Ella likes."
"Okay, Grandfather, don't worry. I will arrange it." Jalen nodded and got upto walk toward the kitchen.
Jalen did not know what Elaina wanted to talk to Nitzan about, but in fact, he had some guesses. He just did not know if Elaina
could get the answer she wanted this time.
Nitzan walked into the study. Elaina followed him and closed the door. Nitzan walked over and sat on the sofa. He smiled and
looked at Elaina. "Sit down, Ella."
"Grandfather, you can guess why I am here with you, right?" Elaina asked, sitting down opposite Nitzan.
"Yes, I can guess a little." Nitzan did not deny it.
'Then just tell me directly." Elaina smiled at him, waiting for Nitzan to speak.

Unfortunately, Nitzan had no intention of telling her. "What do you want me to tell you? Ella, I don’t know what you are talking
about."
Elaina smiled bitterly.
Nitzan really knew how to play dumb.
Elaina looked at him and said lightly, "Grandpa, I went to Boston a few days ago."
Nitzan was silent and did not speak, but inside, he was not as calm as he looked on the surface.
"I went to see Tyrone and talked to him about something." Elaina continued to speak, her eyes still on Nitzan’s face. She did not
want to miss any reaction from him.
Nitzan smiled and asked, "I heard that he was hospitalized. How is he?"
"Not very well," Elaina said truthfully.
"That's really a pity,' Nitzan said, but there was no hint of regret on his face.
Elaina ignored it and continued, "I went to Tyrone mainly to ask about where I came from. These days, I have sensed that there
was something wrong with my origin. I just didn't have a clue until Jaydon appeared.
"Tyrone said on the phone that if I followed Jaydon to Boston to meet him, he would tell me everything. He kept his word, and I
knew everything I wanted to know," Elaina said.
Nitzan was surprised and seemed to not believe it.
"In fact, I am not from Peach Village, nor am I my grandfather's biological granddaughter. I am the daughter of a big family in
Boston, right?" She looked at Nitzan with a smile. She looked as if she already knew everything.
Hearing her say this, Nitzan was really surprised.
He thought, did she really know everything? Did she really know her true identity?
In fact, what Elaina just said were her wild guesses based on the reactions of Jaydon and the others. After all, if she could attract
Jaydon’s attention, her origin was destined to be not simple.

Now, it seemed that her guesses were correct.
However, which family was it? What had happened back then? She still had to figure it out.
"Since you already know everything, why did you ask me?" Nitzan sighed and did not look at Elaina anymore.
