Fall for You After Divorce

Chapter 35

Chapter 35
Melody sat in the corner of the sofa, crying with a beer bottle in her arms. Her makeup was already smudged, and her mascara
was running from her eyes. She looked like a mess.
Briana walked over, sat down next to her, and took the beer bottle from her arms. “What happened? Where is your boyfriend?”
Melody cried harder at the word “boyfriend”. She sobbed and said brokenly, “That scumbag... I dumped him...”
After hearing her out, Briana knew what had happened.
Earlier today, Melody’s boyfriend asked her out to dinner. She had thought he was going to celebrate her birthday, but he just
wanted to break up with her.
He explained that his first love back in college came back home and he planned to be with that girl again.
Briana patted Melody’s back and tried to comfort her. “Don’t be sad. It’s a good thing that you’ve seen through that guy. You
deserve better.”
Melody’s eyes were puffy from crying, and she reached out to grab the beer bottle from Briana.
“Give me a drink! I want it...”
Briana put the beer away. “No. You’re drunk already. Let me take you home.”
“No, I’m not! I want more!”
Briana didn’t want to waste her breath with a drunkard. She picked Melody up and carried her.
Briana dropped Melody off at home. When Briana was about to leave, she couldn’t find her phone.
Briana tried to recall where she might have dropped her phone. “Maybe in the private room,” she thought.
So she drove back to the club. It was past eleven at night. She went straight into that private room.
Briana opened the door and saw a man sitting in the middle with a fat face checking her mobile phone.
Briana narrowed her eyes and walked up to him.

“Excuse me, Sir. The phone in your hand is mine. Can I have it back?”
The others in the room all stopped to look at her, waiting for a drama.
Obviously, Briana didn’t recognize Jackson Moore, the man in front of her. Otherwise, she would have asked very politely.
Jackson was amazed when he saw Briana’s pretty face. He thought she was more stunning than any other woman he had met
before.
Leering at her, Jackson said in a flirtatious tone, “Pretty, do you have any proof that this phone is yours?”
Briana said patiently, “I can unlock it.”
Jackson let out a chuckle and nodded. “Alright, it’s yours then. But now that I found the phone, you have to pay me something, if
you want it back.”
“What do you want?” asked Briana.
“It’s simple. You drink the three drinks in front of you, and I’ll give you your phone back!”
Briana glanced down at the drinks on the table. “Seriously?”
“Of course,” said Jackson.
“OK.”
Briana picked up the drinks, finished them in one go, and put the glasses away. “Can I have my phone back now?” Briana asked.
Jackson smiled and gave her phone back.
“Thanks.”
Briana turned and left directly, and the others knew that she had become Jackson’s prey for the night.
When Jackson was gazing at her back, a smirk crossed his lips. He said to his men, “Send two men to get her and then take her
straight to my room.”
Soon after Briana stepped out of the room, she sensed something was wrong. Somehow, she felt hot and dizzy.

She held on to the wall and was about to leave quickly. Suddenly, a voice came from behind.
“She’s right there. Get her!”
