Edith read the words on the paper.
“Due to the fact that Party A has done something horrendous to Party B, Party A shall compensate Party B with a high. amount of money. Following that, Party A should agree to all reasonable requests from Party B as part of the compensation plan in the future. If Party A refuses to comply, the photos will be made public!”
“P–Photos?” Edith was stunned, wondering what type of photos they were.
Just as Edith was in a daze, Carlos did something unexpected. Carlos held the back of her head and brought her into his embrace. Then, she saw him clicking on his phone and there, the photo was taken.
Edith had a confused expression, while Carlos remained calm as usual.
“I’m the victim here!” Edith thought and went berserk right away.
She jumped up angrily, wanting to grab his phone as she screamed indignantly, “You’re so shameless!”
“I’m a profiteer, Carlos replied calmly.
“You’re older, so how could you bully a little girl like me?”

“What’s with the photos then? There’s nothing like that, right?”

Edith could not stand him anymore. She slammed the table and stood up. “Can you say something else other than that?”
His lips curved into a playful smirk upon hearing that. He bent down, and his masculine aura wrapped around her all of a sudden. It caught her off guard, causing her to fall back onto the bed as she looked at him in fear.
The morning sun shone on his tanned skin, emitting a healthy glow. His smirk made him look like a sly fox. His eyes were brightly lit as if he had a sky full of stars in them.
From his eyes, she could see her reflection. She was tiny, looking insignificant among the countless stars.
He was so charming that he looked unreal. Even though he only had a pair of boxers on him, he was still elegant, looking like Adonis himself.
If he was a profiteer, he would be the most attractive one out of them.
She stared at his lips, which were glistening with rosy luster. His mouth opened slowly as his deep and alluring voice sounded in her ears.
“As I’m a profiteer. I can do anything for the sake of profit! Yes, I’m bullying you now, but what can you do? Do you want to report me to someone? Go ahead and try it then. Let’s see if Simon would back off and allow us to get together. You want to give it a try?”
After saying that, he licked his lips with the tip of his tongue lightly, looking like he wanted to tear her bones apart and eat her up. It was such an aggressive move that she could not help trembling.
