Fae Or Not I'm Coming For You: It's Only The Beginning

Chris stalks off to the bedroom with Persephone. Persephone looks back at us with a glare that could kill. I look over to my mates trying to figure out what just happened. They both just shrug and sit down. Sighing I walk back over to my seat and sit.

“I understand what she was saying about needing to go down to the dungeons but what I do not understand is why she could not just tell us. She put herself and the babes both in danger. What in the world could have possessed her to do such a thing.” I said thinking out loud.

“I feel you man I do not understand it either but I am glad that she is safe and the babes are safe. We seriously need to get to the bottom of who is trying to kill her. We can not keep bringing food from the other Realm. Someone is eventually going to notice what we are doing.” Hydrus says.

“I would like to see the council do or say something. Chris has literally gotten rid of numerous Fae by herself without her full power. I think it is one of the reasons why they wanted her locked up or destroyed in the first place.” Our other mate said.

“They just do not understand her power. They do not understand why she was born in the first place. She has a huge burden on her shoulders and we as her mates have to share that burden otherwise it could destroy her.” I say.

Both of my mates just look at me curiously but I shake my head at them letting them know I will not elaborate more. The bedroom door suddenly flies open and Persephone comes storming out. She shuts the door quietly then storms over to us. Standing in front of us you can see the anger pouring off her in waves. The next thing we know we are all laid out on our butts from Persephone punching all three of us.

“What the Hell Seph?” Hydrus yells.

“You all of you should be ashamed of yourselves. Chris just cried herself to sleep because of you.” Seph huffed at us before she flopped in a chair.

We all picked are selves back up and righted our chairs before sitting back down. The three of us looked at each other and then dropped our heads in shame. What had we done. Our poor mate cried because of us.

“I do not think it was fully you guys. I think part of it is that she can not think straight with everything that is happening to her. But you guys getting all huffy puffy and yelling at her does not help the cause at all. Her Kelpie told me that Chris made you guys feel her emotions when she was first pregnant. You two balled like babes before her Kelpie helped her reign her emotions back in and fix you guys. I should have her do it to you guys again just to make you see how she is feeling. I can tell just from what she did in that room in the dungeon that she is on the war path for justice and she will take out who ever is in her path. So you all might want to get on board and stop trying to put her in a bubble or she just may take you guys down too.” Seph said then disappeared.

The three of us just sat there staring at the place Seph had been sitting. None of us knew what to say. We decided to go and try to comfort our mate even though she was sleeping. Atleast if we are by her side when she wakes up maybe she will not be mad anymore. After laying down we start rubbing her belly trying to get the babes to settle. They seem extra jumpy and wiggly tonight.

A clicking sound came from next to our bed. I tilted my head to try to catch the sound again but did not hear anything again. Slowly I got up just as I see the escape route door in our bedroom close shut. I rushed over and ripped the door open. No one was there. I sniffed the air around the doorway and the bedroom. I shut and sealed the door so no one could use it again. I went over to Hydrus and grabbed his hand yanking him to a stand.

“Come we need to go while the scent is fresh. They were just in our room. Tell Our other mate to watch over Chris til we get back.” I said urgently to Hydrus.

“We should not be doing this. We should wait til more of our mates are here.” Hydrus says.

“Her life is in danger and we are the ones here now. I can not risk them taking her. Are you with me or not?” I ask.

Hydrus nods his head and I can tell he is linking our other mate. He shows up and nods to us to go and tells us to be safe and quick. I transported us to the top of the escape route and started following the scent from our room. Suddenly we were no longer I the escape route but in the Hellhound area of the UnSeelie Realm.

“SHIT! We need to get out of here now.” Hydrus says.

I stop quick and try concentrating. I can hear Chris trying to tell me something but I can not make it out very well.

“SHIT. Something is wrong with Chris. We need to go now.” I said.

We started jogging back to where we had appeared here and there was no way back. Looking around we noticed that it was close to the time for everyone to start moving around so I transported us back you our room hoping no one would follow our scent.

Our other mate sits next to me and I start to cry and lay my head on his shoulder. I tell him about the food and not being able to contact the guys. He rubs my back trying to soothe me. I explain that the babes are starving and I do not know what I am supposed to do. He grabs my hand and transports me to the Grey Loch. He dives in and a short while later he returns with fish, grass and weeds. He also has a huge container of some type of drink for me. I transform my teeth to my Kelpie’s and started to eat the fish. I ate silently at first then I could not stand the silence anymoe.

“Do you know what is going on?” I asked between bites.

My mate sighed and ran his hair through his hair. “Yes. But I am not sure if you should know what is going on. It could be dangerous for you to know.”

I growled at him. “I am so sick of everyone treating me like a damn child. I am not and I should be able to choose what is too dangerous for me or not. Now tell me what the hell is going on. My babes are hungry and they need their last power feed before they are born,” I say angrily.

“I understand and I know you are not a child. But there are just somethings that I can not tell you. But I can tell you that neither Fenrir or Hydrus are in the Human Realm. They left telling me to watch over you and make sure you stay safe. Right now the Castle is not safe. Some one there is trying to kill you and I do not know why. As for what Fenrir and Hydrus are doing that is a question for them I can not answer. No I do not know when they will be back either.” He says.

“So what am I supposed to do now then. My babes will die if they do not feed and if you give me power it could change them. I can not take that risk. My forms have already told me this.” I say softly.

“Ask them what needs to be done and we will do it.” He says before getting up and walking a little ways away.

I finish eating and take a drink. Then I let myself sink back in to my mind to talk with my forms. “Pheonix. Anexus.” I call out.

Silence greets me. I start to get a little annoyed that they are not responding but then my stomach starts to cramp and it becomes extremely painful. Then it stops. “Pheonix. Anexus. What is happening?” I call out to them. “It is time,” is all I hear before another cramp hits me harder then the first. I call out to my mate and he is there right beside me.

“The babes are coming. I need you to strip me please.” I yell out from the pain.

“Lie back little one and I will help you.” He says.

I lay back on the ground and he pulls my clothes off as gently as possible with me thrashing back and forth with the painful cramps. Once the pain subsides again I take a few deep breaths and look at my mate. I am thankful that he came to me when he did. With whatever Fenrir and Hydrus are doing I would have had no one with me to give birth. Suddenly I hear splashing and look over to see what it is. A women is walking out of the lock carrying a bag with her. She rushes over to us and starts spouting out question after question. I can not concentrate on what she is asking because another cramp has hit me and I start screaming with how intense it is. Suddenly I feel liquid gush from between my legs and I am embarrassed because I peed myself. My mate starts smoothing my hair from my face and kisses my forehead. He is trying to soothe me.

“Christiana, this is not how I wanted to meet you but I am Hydrus’s mom. Anexus called to me letting me know what was going on. When I get my hands on Hydrus and Fenrir I and going to whop them both. But right now I need to check to see how dilated you are. I need you to spread your legs and bring your knees up tight to you.” Hydrus’s mom says.

Just as I am about to do as I was told I see Persephone standing next to her mother. She smiles and nods at me so I do as I was told and I felt Hydrus’s mother touching my vagina lightly then I felt a little pressure. She pulled back and looks at me with a serious expression. I did not like the expression and I started to get really worried. She said something to my mate that I did not understand then I see his face down between my legs. He pulls back with a serious expression as well.

“What? What is wrong? Are my babes ok?” I yelled which startled them both.

“Chris you are about to give birth but the babes are not in their human forms and there is something else but I can not see it very well.” Hydrus’s mom says.

Panicking I sink to the back of my mind to seek help and get my questions answered. “My dear we know you are panicking. Everything will be fine. When we did not respond earlier we were helping the pups transform so they could hold on long enough to be born. Other wise because Fenrir and Hydrus are missing the babes would have died. Isobels Wolf has been added as a babe and that is what they are not able to see. You were only supposed to have two babes but because Isobels Wolf sacrificed her remaining power to save the babes she was given another chance. I am not sure how the God’s and Goddesses did it but I know she will be powerful. We need you to get on to your hands and knees and push as hard as you can. This is not going to be pleasant giving birth to them in their forms but it was the only way. We will help as much as we can. Draw power from the Realm to help when needed but only when needed,” Pheonix and Anexus say to me.

“I thought the power I had consumed from those Fae would have been enough.” I say to them, “I did as you told me too.”

“They were not as powerful as we thought they were going to be. Not to mention a bunch of the Fae were replaced with other Fae just like Persephone.” They respond sadly.
