Fae Or Not I'm Coming For You: It's Only The Beginning

“What do you mean by not positive about that?” I question.

“You started showing little signs here and there that your power was coming back eight months prior to you turning 21. We did not start to actually feel your power til the King himself showed up. It was one of the reasons why it was so easy for the King to capture all of us. Your power held us in that house. The ones that were not were able to flee but some did end up getting captured. We surmised that he was your mate by the way he was protective of you. We also knew that you had contacted him about the party. We followed you and saw your birds. We had to keep up pretenses that we were just using you so Sean did not suspect anything. We let your bird leave our pack. We did not have to but we did. You did what we should have done when Sean killed our daughter. But you gave us a sense of joy again. It may not have seemed it but you healed us. We protected you from Sean the whole time. We made you believe that we did not care so Sean would stop following you around so much. We were glad that you had found Ana’s old fort in the woods. We knew every time you were not home on time and that the branch was by your window. One day we actually saw Sean breaking the lock on your bedroom window thinking he could get to you easier. But you and us know that it was the opposite that happened. We will accept any punishment we are given in our part that we played. We just want to finally be with Ana again.” They tell me the rest of their story.

“One last question. Did you participate in anything Sean was doing other then kidnapping me?” I asked.

“No, what he was doing was abominable and against all we believed in and were taught. What you heard at the party was him pissed off because he was getting feedback about involving other packs and the people that were helping and participating with him were mad they would have to share. But we stopped caring what he wanted. We were planning on taking you away and those damn Alpha’s and Beta’s had to show up when we were getting ready to take you and leave. We knew you were hiding in the bush outside the house listening. You were with us for just over two years. We knew your little tricks.” They said smiling a little at the end.

“Thank you for your story. Now I will leave the killing blow to my mate Hydrus,” I say as people around the arena gasp, “What is it not fair when the King helped with Alpha Sean?” I ask the people. They went quiet.

I turn to Hydrus and say, “I want it quick. They have suffered enough.”

Hydrus nods his head and heads down to the arena. Fenrir wrapped his arms around me and brought us back to our seats. I watched Hydrus walk across the arena over to Paul and Rose. He stopped in front of them, then just stood there. Then I saw water pouring out of them, just as they were starting to become unsteady on their feet Hydrus struck out fast and decapitated them both with one swipe of an arm. Then with both hands he ripped out there hearts before their bodies hit the ground. Hydrus turned and headed back up to the balcony still holding their hearts in each hand. Once he was back on the balcony he presented me with their hearts. I took them and let my Lycan come forward to devour them. Hydrus produced a cloth for both of us and we cleaned the blood from our hands. Fenrir licked the blood from my face and did the same for Hydrus. Hydrus sat in his seat then Fenrir kissed us both then went to address the arena again.

“Who is ready to see the fights?” Fenrir asks.

At first there is Silence then a deafening roar is heard through out the arena from the crowds excitement.

“Guards unshackle the prisoners and leave the arena. Stay at your posts by the doors in case any decide to be stupid and try to escape.” Fenrir says.

He waits til the rest of the prisoners have been released and the guards have moved out of the arena.

“LET THE FIGHTS BEGIN,” Fenrir yells.

There was instant chaos in the arena. The lower rank people from my old pack started running when they saw the Alpha’s and Beta’s step towards them. A few of the higher rank did not bother running. Suddenly they let there power loose. They had been hiding it. Things just got interesting. The Alpha’s and Beta’s stopped for a second til they let the full extent of their power out. The power in the arena was immense. When the people that were running realized what was happening they unleashed their power as well. You could tell which people participated the longest in Alpha Sean’s plans. The least powerful were ripped to shreds and beheaded first. They worked their way through the people til it was the Alpha’s, Beta’s and six people from my old pack left. There were body parts and heads every where in the arena. A Beta slipped in a pool of blood and everyone took advantage and took him out. In the fray of it there were two men who stood back just watching and calculating. I do not recognize one of them and neither have killed a soul down there.

“Fenrir who are those two down there? One has not moved from his spot since everything began.” I say.

“Who? I do not see anyone that has not fought or is just standing about.” Fenrir replies.

I look over at Hydrus and he just shakes his head and shrugs his shoulders.

“Can you see them?” I mind-link Hydrus.

“Yes. But I do not know why Fenrir can not. Maybe they are more of your mates and Fenrir will not see him til it is time. Fenrir has been out of the Fae Realm for too long. I feel like this will be a crutch in our bond with him. Do not approach them. Let them come to you when it is time. You said you will not have another mate til the babes are born. Do Not Push This.” Hydrus replies through the mind-link.

“Sorry Fenrir I guess I am just tired and seeing things. A part of me was hoping you had found Alpha Jameson and surprised me again.” I say tiredly.

“It is ok my love. You can sleep if you would like. There are times I feel like I see some one standing some where but when I look again there is no one there. It tends to happen more when I am tired or stressed. A lot has happened in a very short period of time. Why not just relax and sleep if you like. We are here and will protect you if needed.” Fenrir says softly with concern in his eyes.

I look back at the arena and the men are still there. I watch them trying to figure out who they are and why they are here. One of them then looks up and locks eyes with me. But Hydrus grabs my hand and squeezes it to get me to look away. I move my eyes from the man and continue watching the fight.

“Thank you,” I mind-link Hydrus.

He just lightly caresses my hand in acknowledgment of what I said. The fighting is down to three people now. One Alpha, the Beta from my old pack, and one other from my pack. Those two must have been with Alpha Sean from the beginning to last this long. The remaining Alpha is powerful and controls one of the largest packs in Scotland. But we are no longer in Scotland we are in Ireland and there are people in this arena more powerful then that Alpha. The three are at a stand still. They are all breathing heavily. Fenrir does not like all this standing around so he addresses it.

“You are not allowed a break. Do I need to kill all three of you to finish this or are you going to prove who is the strongest?” Fenrir says to them.

None of them answer so Fenrir decides he will just end it so we can go eat and go to bed. That is what he tells me through mind-link at least. I personally think he just wants to prove that he is the baddest of them all. Fenrir walks down to the arena and the three just stand there watching him intently. Suddenly I feel a presence next to me that feels comforting and warm at the same time. I do not look because Hydrus is gripping my hand saying no in my mind. So I ignore the man next to me. We sit there and watch Fenrir take on all three males at once. At first it looks like they have the upper hand then all of a sudden all three are thrown across the arena in different directions. Just when I thought none of them were going to get they did. Fenrir was ready for them when they came at him again. He kept flinging them around like rag dolls. I realize he is toying with them and does not plan on stopping. I delve in to his mind and realize he is upset about what I said about Alpha Jameson. Standing up I go to leave the balcony but Hydrus stops me.

“You can not go down there while he is like this. He needs to deal with this himself.” Hydrus says.

“It is my fault though. He is upset about what I said about Alpha Jameson. He feels like he failed me. I need to stop this. The fights are not supposed to be this way and you know it Hydrus.” I say angrily.

I turn my back to him and walk to the stairs leading to the arena. I try to step down on to the stairs but there is a barrier I can not get past. I swing back around and I see the man sitting there smirking at me.

“You will not risk your babes out of guilt. Fenrir needs to remember who he is and stop fucking around. I will be here to watch over you and Hydrus but I will not show myself to Fenrir til I know he is changing. I am not allowed to be with you til you have your babes and I can not show my true self til then as well. But do not think for one second that I will sit back and allow you to be harmed because of Fenrir’s stupidity.” The man says to me.

Hydrus walks over to me and wipes my face. I did not realize I was even crying. He wraps his arms around me and lets me cry. I let out all the emotions I am feeling while I can hear the crowd cheering in the background.

“Hydrus, you know I am right in this. You forcing Fenrir to accept the bond and finally mate you should not have had to happen. He should have done it to begin with. You have known him for a long time and have been together before but he still tried to refuse you your bond. This needs to stop. He needs to go back for a while. But that can only happen after the babes are born. You know this but yet you are still trying to deny it in your heart. You love him I know but it has to be done. It does not even have to be long. A month at most but he needs to return.” The man says to Hydrus as I listen as well.
