Extracts from The Diaries of 'Professor' Cornelius Crane
Chapter July 27th, 1969
My initial elation at having Hannah stay with us indefinitely has become somewhat of an irritation that is beginning to test my patience to the limit.
She has withdrawn herself into a cocoon where she hardly eats, drinks, sleeps or even talks to anyone.
When she does manage to fall asleep, it’s restless and troubled, and only accomplished through the administering of medication.
Her waking hours remain filled with her continual wailing.
I realize now, just how much she is like a child!!!
