In a game full of setbacks, the New York Stars’ offense failed to take it all the way. Lewis and Donnghal are still the breakout power duo this season, but Kerrigan caused three turnovers, spoiling the lead the Stars had fought to rack up.
More and more, the team is depending on shoot-outs to win, showing the limits of Coach Allan Bradley’s offensive strategies.
Despite the setback, the Stars remain the favorite to win this series.
