THE ‘LEPRECHAUN’ WINS HART MEMORIAL TROPHY FOR THIRD TIME AFTER SHOCKING KIDNAPPING SCARE

Montréal Mounties’ forward, Liam Donnghal, was selected by the Professional Hockey Writers’ Association as the Hart Memorial Trophy recipient this season, marking Donnghal’s third nod in as many years, already having won the Conn Smythe Trophy for playoff MVP as well as the Stanley Cup this season.
Donnghal was recently seen attending a family wedding in New Hampshire, where he seemed in good spirits following the tragedy that befell the center.
Details of his kidnapping have never been released to the media, but those close to the ‘Leprechaun’ state that he was taken for ransom and was held hostage with the child of a New York businessman whose name remains unknown.
After his release, Donnghal came back onto the ice with a vengeance, breaking Gretzky’s record of most goals in a season with a total of 95, making him the obvious choice for the Hart Memorial.
Mounties’ fans are anxiously awaiting his first game of the new season to see what magic the Leprechaun can sow for Montréal.
