Embracing Love and Power

Chapter 25 - Queen

Boris escorted Tillie through the compound, his arm tightly clutching her waist. Tillie felt disgusted by his touch, although he was a very attractive man, she longed for Timber’s touch. “Don’t plan anything stupid. If you try something another soldier dies.” Boris said sternly. Tillie realized she had to play along if she wanted a chance to free her soldiers. “I said I would listen to you, that will be all I’ll do.” She replied. “And if I want to tell you a story with my body?” He smiled seductively at her. Tillie swallowed the bile that rose in her throat. “I doubt Cassandra would like that.” Tillie smirked. “Fuck Cassandra, you are the one I want.” “And how do you see that turning out? I won’t be your next toy.” She said. “No you are not, I am going to make you my queen. You aren’t leaving our bed ever” He grinned mischievously. “So that’s your idea of a queen? Just spreading my legs whenever you are in need of a good fuck? You do realize who I am?” she asked. “Yes you are the breaker and you are divine. I won’t let anything happen to you. You are far too valuable. I am not as stupid as Timber, I won’t let you out of my sight.” He said confident. His strong jawline was covered with a 5 o’clock shadow, he towered over her, just like Timber, he was beautiful and yet he wasn’t Timber.

Boris dragged Tillie through the camp until they were standing in the central square. Fire torches where lit casting a warm glow over the tied soldiers. As they stepped between them, their eyes lit up with hope. The soldiers looked at Tillie as if she was the solution to this problem. “Why are they tied up?” Tillie asked. “If they join my elite they are free.” Boris answered. “I see that has been a success so far.” Tillie chuckled. A smile formed on most of the soldiers’ faces. “Don’t disrespect me, Breaker.” Boris warned her. “You have to earn my respect.” Tillie answered. “Wat will it take? Killing soldiers? You will submit.” He stated arrogantly. “Timber earned her respect.” Robert said from in between the bounded soldiers. And a smile formed on Tillie’s face as an idea sprouted in her head.

There was a loud bang at the gate. Soldiers immediately ran to Boris. “He is here.” One of them said. “Showtime.” Boris grinned as he dragged Tillie away. He climbed the wall near the gate and dragged her along. Tillie looked down and saw Valen and Timber standing in front of the gate. Their squad lined up behind them. “Open the gates” Timber commanded. Boris just chuckled. “Why would I do that?” He asked mockingly and then he pushed Tillie in front of him, pressing her tightly to his chest. “I am having so much fun here Timber, I think I’ll be staying for a while.” He grabbed Tillie’s right breast as he pressed her closer to his body. “Think of the soldiers before you react.” He hissed in her ear. Tillie didn’t make a move as tears streamed down her cheeks, her hands clenched into fists as she tried to control every fiber of her being to not push him away. His touch however made her sick. Tillie turned her head away as she tried to avoid Boris as much as possible. She saw how Timber was already fuming. “Your new squad leader is really something else. I think I am keeping her to myself.” Tillie couldn’t take it anymore, she grabbed his hand and twisted it behind his back. “Wrong move sweetheart.” Boris made a signal with his fingers in the air. A gunshot echoed through the camp and Tillie immediately fell to her knees. She knew what he had done. “Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you. Timber I’d love to chat with you some more, but as you can see, I’ve got some work to do. I have to tame this lioness.” He lifted Tillie in his arms as he made his way back down.

He walked towards the middle of the square and dropped her to the ground, next to Robert’s dead body. “You are a monster.” Tillie huffed between her teeth. “I warned you. Now I’ll have to punish you. Take off your shirt.” “What?” Tillie looked confused at him. “I’ve already told Timber, I am taming the lioness, something he clearly couldn’t do. I don’t have to shoot anyone else now, do I?” he asked. Tillie pulled her shirt over her head, leaving her sitting in her black bra in the middle of the camp. She closed her eyes, the magic was sissling over her skin. It was ready to burst out, she could feel that the rage inside her was slowly growing stronger than Alden’s spell.

The clapping of a whip sliced through Tillie’s thoughts. The leader crashed against her skin, sending pain shiver after pain shiver down her body. But Tillie didn’t move, she didn’t make a sound. One by one, the soldiers bowed their head when they saw what Tillie had to endure, but she didn’t so much as blink. She took every blow with her head held high, until she passed out.

Tillie woke up laying in Timber’s bed, his scent enveloped her in a blissful blanket. And then she realized that the nightmare she was still living in wasn’t over, she tried to move as the pain shot through her back. “Good morning my queen.” She quickly covered herself with a blanket when she saw Boris. He leaned against the wall, his eyes wandering over her body. He held a tray in his hands with bandages. He walked over towards her. “May I?” he asked. Tillie looked at him “Do I have a choice?” she asked. “No you don’t” he answered with a broad smile. He carefully nursed her wounds, it felt as if he was a different man there with her. She felt how his hands trailed over the lines of her tattoo.

“Are you really going to force me for the rest of our lives? Do you really want to live like that? Don’t you want to be able to trust me?” Boris didn’t answer Tillie’s questions. “What happened to you?” she asked as a tear rolled over her cheek. “What do you mean?” he asked a little confused. “You confuse me an awful lot, you seem to be almost two different persons. The one that talks about me being his queen and then the other who whips me and shoots random soldiers to get what he wants.” His fingers stopped and he pressed a soft kiss on her shoulder. Tillie’s skin burned where his mouth had touched her. “The council made us this way.” Tillie looked at Boris, for a moment he seemed almost vulnerable, she placed her hand against his cheek. Even though it was the hardest thing she had done, she needed him to believe her. “If I say yes to you” she paused to swallow the lump in her throat. “I have to earn your respect” he stated. He softly pressed a kiss to the palm of her hand, Tillie noticed how a little burn formed on her hand. She realized being with him would kill her in the end. She had to stop this before it went further.

“What did Timber do?” he asked looking at her with the vulnerability still in his eyes. “Because that will be the only way you will ever accept me.” Boris sighed. Tillie felt her spirit lifting, she had him where she wanted. “Timber defeated me in a fight. Do the same and I’ll be by your side until eternity.”

Boris had dragged Tillie back to the central square. She could see that the soldiers had spent the night there. At least Boris had the decency to clean up the dead bodies. He loudly whistled as the rest of the soldiers gathered around them. “Soldiers” Boris started. “The Breaker will be joining us on the condition that I can defeat her in a fight. I agreed on my own terms. If I win you will all join with as much as a word.” “That’s not what we agreed on.” Tillie quickly said. “Take it or leave it.” Boris smiled. “What if she wins?” Makin asked from between the soldiers. Boris laughed diabolically. “That won’t happen.” He said confident.

The soldiers formed a human ring as Boris handed his vest to one of the soldiers, leaving him just in his black singlet. His muscular arms already in fighting stance. Tillie stood there still in her black bra and her black pants. Her back covered in whip marks. One of Boris soldiers explained the rules to the rest of the crowd. Boris said in a low voice that only Tillie could hear “And my last condition is that you willingly sleep with me if you lose.” The hair on Tillie’s back rose at his words. She couldn’t do anything else than agreeing, she knew that if she lost she would be dead.

Tillie’s eyes roamed over the crowd, until she stopped at a pair of eyes she knew. Louis stood among the soldiers. She nodded her head swiftly in his direction. In the blink of an eye he was gone. “Are you ready for the fight of your life?” Boris asked. Tillie’s eyes went back over the crowd and then they landed on Althea, hiding in an alley. She nodded her head in her direction quickly again. The magic tried to break free from under her skin. But Tillie wasn’t about to give up the spell. The events of her dream still hadn’t happened. In her dream her powers were still suppressed so she had to keep them disabled for now. If she would lose, then that would be her last resort.

“I am.” Tillie said. Boris raised his fist and a cocky smile appeared on his face. The elite soldiers all held their breath, they knew what was at stake. Boris threw a few punches, which Tillie easily dodged. She responded with a swift kick to his ribs. His anger sprouted immediately and he threw a combination of kicks her way. Tillie danced around him, and delivered a series of punches of her own. The blood soon began to trickle from her eyebrow. “Man you are fucking beautiful.” Boris said between two punches. Tillie channeled her energy as she kicked his jaw. “Too bad you won’t have me.” She replied with a smile. Boris tried to knock her down with a few kicks, but Tillie didn’t bow. She moved easily around him and tired him without his noticing. Her back hurt when she moved, but that wasn’t stopping her. She had to win, without a doubt. Tillie kicked him hard in the groin. He nearly collapsed as he covered his business. His anger was fueled even more, it was as if someone had added fuel to his fire. He approached Tillie like a raging bull. Tillie thought that the fight had gone on long enough, she was tired of it. Until he caught her by surprise and wrapped his arm around her neck and held her in a choke position. His mouth was next to her ear. “I think I won.” He said smugly. And then Tillie did something that made the whole crowd gasp. She tugged at his elbow and threw him over her shoulder. Boris landed on his back with a hard blow. Tillie quickly placed her knee in his neck, disabling him completely.

It was then that Boris’s soldiers heard how the gate was opened and Timber and Valen marched straight in. Louis had managed to free the captive soldiers, causing them all to move fast. In the chaos, Boris had been able to pull a small knife from his boot. The knife crashed between Tillie’s ribs. The pain shot through her body but Tillie didn’t move. She pushed her knee harder against his throat as she slowly pulled the knife out. Boris didn’t move as she held the knife next to her knee. No one dared to approach Tillie as her knee was still firmly placed on the throat of Boris. Tillie felt how everything was taking its toll, the fight, the whipping, Boris’s touches and just before she crashed she felt two strong arms wrap around her body.
