Chapter 71 

It seemed that they faked their marriage and had yet to have a substantial relationship. 

Thinking of that, a smile immediately appeared on Dorothy’s face. 

She kept telling herself in her mind that the reason why Ragnar married Josephine was for the sake of Danny and Manny. Moreover, Ragnar was a normal man who had wants. Even if they had done something intimate between them, Dorothy’s. believed that Ragnar would not have feelings for Josephine sincerely. 

She knew that men liked to play around, and Ragnar would eventually learn that Josephine was not his perfect partner. 

Dorothy thought that as long as she captured Ragnar’s heart and got ahead to make something happen between her and him, Josephine would naturally have to leave the Levine family obediently after Dorothy had become the lady of the Levine 

mansion. 

Thinking that she would soon become Ragnar’s woman, Dorothy laughed happily. 

After tidying herself up, Dorothy decided to go to the mall to buy several sets of clothes and dress herself up beautifully to make Ragnar feel amazed at first glance at her. 

Josephine, who had been busy the whole day, was about to leave work and go home. 

As soon as she arrived at the bus stop, she suddenly caught sight of a familiar figure. 

She saw Jonathan walking into a high–end restaurant with a young girl in his arms. 

In an instant, Josephine was furious. 

She immediately took out her phone and dialed a number. When the call was answered, she spoke first, “Liliana, don’t work overtime. Come to the bus station immediately.” 

“What’s wrong?” On the other end of the phone, Liliana could hear something wrong with Josephine’s voice. 

“Catching someone cheating!” Josephine shouted. 

“Oh my god! How could you leave me out of such interesting stuff? I’m an expert in this job! Wait for me!” 

After saying that, Liliana ran out without even tidying up her table. 

Two minutes later, she met Josephine and asked in a hurry, “Where is the adulterous couple?” 

She knew who they were going to catch when Josephine mentioned it. 

“They went into the restaurant,” Josephine pointed to the high–class restaurant and said. 

“Then what are you waiting for? Let’s go inside.” While talking, Liliana pulled Josephine into the restaurant. 

After entering, she saw Jonathan and his secretary, Winnie, at a glance. 

Hence, Josephine and Liliana sat in the corner behind Jonathan and listened to their conversation quietly. 

Liliana took responsibility for taking photos, while Josephine was responsible for recording. 

In the past, when it was just a photo as evidence, Jonathan could say it was for socializing to meet Winnie, but if there were a 

recording, Josephine would like to see how he could talk his way out of it. 

Josephine decided to get the evidence of Jonathan’s cheating no matter what this time in order to get Yennefer out of her misery. 

“Jonathan, since you had promised to marry me, when will you divorce Yennefer?” Winnie asked. 

“Yennefer hasn’t come back from a business trip recently. I’ll divorce her as soon as she comes back.” Jonathan coaxed her. 

In his heart, Yennefer had always been the love of his life, and he never wanted to divorce her. 

The reason why Jonathan was with Winnie was to have her give birth to a child for him. As long as she gave birth to the baby

and let Jonathan take the infant home, his mother would stop pushing him again. 

As for Winnie, he would just give her a sum of money and have her leave. 

In the future, the child would be Yennefer’s. 

“Okay, after you’re divorced, we’ll get married,” Winnie said. 

“Don’t worry. I will definitely marry you. Let’s eat.” As they talked, Jonathan picked up and put a piece of meat on Winnie’s plate. “The dishes here are delicious. Eat more.” 

He wanted to have her body become chubbier to give birth to a healthy baby. 

Listening to Jonathan’s words, Josephine clenched her hands into fists, and the bone–cracking sound was obvious. 

She cursed inwardly, “What a bastard!” 

Liliana observed Josephine’s anger and shook her head gently to tell the other not to be impulsive. 

Josephine naturally knew to not act in such a way and gave Liliana a reassuring look. She then put down her hand and continued recording. 

Jonathan had talked a lot with the secretary, all of which were bad words about Yennefer, slandering her in every way. 

He even praised Winnie greatly at the same time. 

After the meal, Jonathan led her to the hotel, and Josephine and Liliana followed them. 

After seeing them enter the building, Josephine and Liliana waited outside. They waited for nearly half an hour before they 

went up. 

Liliana directly knocked on the door. 

“Who is it?” Jonathan’s voice came from the room. 

“Room service.” Liliana imitated the tone of a server. 

Jonathan in the room did not doubt it. Soon the door was opened. 

When Jonathan saw Josephine, he panicked, and his face turned pale. “Josie, why are you here?” 

Josephine did not answer. She pushed Jonathan away and rushed in. 

At a glance, she saw Winnie lying on the bed with disheveled hair, a blushing face, and a half–naked body. 

Needless to think, Josephine knew what had happened between them. 

Winnie hurriedly pulled over the blanket and wrapped her head over with it so that they would not see her. 

That was because she did not have clothes on her body. 

“Josie, listen to me…” Jonathan was in total panic. 

Josephine’s expression was cold. “Jonathan, the truth is right in front of my eyes. How dare you say that you’re not cheating?” 

She continued, “Don’t tell me you and your secretary go to the hotel and get naked just to chat.” 

“If you really dare to say that, I will look down on you. You are not manly at all, for you dare to do something but not admit it!” Josephine felt it was unworthy that Yennefer had been wronged by Samantha all those years just to be cheated on by 

Jonathan. 

At that moment, Liliana was taking photos, leaving evidence to prevent Jonathan from having the chance to say that Josephine had framed him when the time came. 

Jonathan knew that it was useless to explain anymore this time. 

He quickly pleaded with Josephine. “Josie, I know I was wrong. I really know I was wrong. Can you not tell Yennefer?” 

He added, “I really love Yennefer, and I don’t want to divorce her. Without her, I really don’t know how to live.”

“You also know that I’ve been married to her for so many years, and she has never given birth to a child. I haven’t divorced her despite that because I love her.” Jonathan kept saying to Josephine. 

“Josie, I was really wrong. I’m begging you. Please don’t tell Yennefer, okay? As long as you promise not to tell her, I will do whatever you want me to do.” 

In order not to get the divorce, Jonathan threw away his dignity in being a man. 

If he divorced Yennefer, he would have to divide his family property with her, and he did not want that. 

Moreover, he was the party at fault, and Yennefer had a reason to divide more things from him, even letting him leave the marriage without gaining anything. 

Thinking of it, Jonathan was scared to no end. 

Hearing Jonathan’s words, Winnie, hiding under the blanket, lifted the cloth and poked her head out. Her face was very gloomy. “Jonathan, what do you mean by that?” 

“You don’t want to get a divorce and also want to make me wait, dragging the time. What are you trying to do?” Winnie questioned him angrily. 

If not for the fact that she was not dressed, she would have jumped out of bed and slapped Jonathan hard in the face a few 

times. 

“You shut up!” Jonathan was already overwhelmed by the situation. 

Josephine did not want to see Jonathan’s ugly face and said fiercely, “You don’t deserve Yennefer’s forgiveness! You also don’t deserve such a good woman like her!” 

After saying that, she looked at Liliana. “Liliana, let’s go.” 

“Josie, I’m begging you again. Please don’t tell Yennefer, okay? You should know that she often travels on business trips. I’m at man, and I also have the need to relieve myself, so…” 

“Shut up!” Josephine stopped him. “Listening to you will stain my ears.””
