Chapter 29
Chapter 29
Tatiana glared at her as she continued, “I asked Charles, and he said he had always loved you. He even thought about marrying you. Charles endured all the humiliation. He did everything for your future. Why is he wrong? Instead, you were not only unable to assist him and made matters worse for him, but you were also ignorant. How dare you dump him for such a trivial matter?”
Tatiana ordered Josephine arrogantly, “You better quit your job at the Levine mansion. Charles still likes and wants you. Don’t be shameless.”
Josephine was infuriated.
She sneered as she glared at Tatiana. “Charles would sleep with Valeria to climb the social ladder for his future. Then, so can !! Mr. Levine is rich and powerful. Who knows? I might become Mrs. Levine if I work hard. Isn’t this more promising than being with Charles?”
After saying this, Josephine left without looking at Tatiana’s shocked expression.
Tatiana clenched her jaw as she glared daggers at Josephine’s silhouette. “I knew you were a shameless woman!”
Then, Tatiana went to find Conner.
She complained, “Conner, I heard Josephine say she would become Mrs. Levine if she works hard with my own ears. She’s a nanny, and she should behave herself. Yet, how dare she want to marry Mr. Levine!”
Tatiana offered, “You can’t let someone like her stay, Conner. I think you should fire her immediately.”
However, Conner looked at Tatiana as if she were a fool.
Not only did he not say anything about dismissing Josephine, but he also said coldly to Tatiana, “This is my final warning, Tatiana. If I hear you gossip again or behave improperly by messing around, you can pack your things!”
Tatiana was outraged.
She wanted to call Josephine shameless for deluding about marrying Ragnar. Instead, Conner gave Tatiana a warning.
Yet, when she saw Conner’s icy expression, Tatiana was afraid to say or complain about anything. She could only nod and admit her faults. “I understand,
Conner.”
That night, Ragnar returned from the business trip.
He sat down and dined with Josephine as usual.
This time, Josephine finished eating swiftly. She put down the tableware and looked at Ragnar. “I’m done, Mr. Levine.”
With that, she stood up and left.
Ragnar frowned.
Tatiana, standing aside, deliberately muttered, “Mr. Levine hasn’t finished eating, but a housekeeper like her leaves first after she finishes. Does she have any manners?“,
Ragnar shot her a glare coldly.
Tatiana immediately smiled. “Take your time, Mr. Levine. Josephine doesn’t know her manners-
“Conner,” Ragnar called Conner before Tatiana could finish.
He asked coldly, “Who hired this housekeeper?”
Canner scowled at Tatiana fiercely.

wed,
Then, he replied, “Lydia hired her.”
“I didn’t educate my subordinates well, Mr. Levine. I will kick her out right now!”
“Okay,” Ragnar answered.
He got up from his seat and was about to head upstairs.
Tatiana’s face turned pale with fear after hearing she would be kicked out. At the same time, she felt indignant, thinking, “Why couldn’t I do the things Josephine does?”
Conner came over and dragged her away.
“I won’t leave.”
Tatiana broke free from him.
She promptly knelt before Ragnar. “I really need this job, Mr. Levine. I’ve spoken too much. I beg of you. Please spare me.”
Tatiana sobbed miserably.
She repeatedly begged with her knees on the ground.
She also told Ragnar, “Actually, Josephine and I are friends. I was just worried her attitude might anger you, so… I’m sorry, Mr. Levine. It’s all my fault. I won’t do it again.”
Ragnar’s dark pupils gazed at Tatiana as he asked, “You’re Josephine’s friend?”
Tatiana answered, “Yes!”
Ragnar decided to let Tatiana off the hook out of respect for Josephine. “Forget it, but don’t repeat this next time.”
Tatiana nodded desperately. “Yes, sir!”
She stood up.
She immediately went to work, but she blamed Josephine deep down for almost causing her to lose her job in the Levine mansion.
On the other side, Ragnar went upstairs to Danny and Manny’s room.
When Josephine saw him coming in, she formally and politely spoke a few words to Ragnar, all of which were about Danny and Manny.
Then, she got up to leave.
“No need to rush.”
Ragnar looked at the babysitter beside him and said, “You can go out first, Hannah.”
“Yes, sir.”
Hannah left sensibly.
Except for Danny and Manny, only Ragnar and Josephine were in the room.
Ragnar looked at Josephine with his dark eyes. “I did not mean to make you fall.”
Josephine said, “Okay.”
She responded indifferently.
Ragnar continued, “I have mysophobia!”

wed.
Josephine was puzzled.
Her glistening eyes were full of confusion as she stared at him, and Ragnar thought she looked quite adorable.
Ragnar did not explain anything else.
“You and I are a couple. There’s no need to be too polite or distant. You have to adjust yourself slowly to the fact that you are my wife.”
“Of course, I will.”
Besides busying himself with work during the business trip this week, Ragnar also carefully considered how to get along with Josephine.
He told Josephine, “In your heart, you should get used to and think of me as your family. After all, every couple should feel like a family at the end of their relationship. Let’s treat each other respectfully and naturally. This way, the children won’t think our relationship is too fake when they grow up.”
Josephine nodded.
Just then, she heard Ragnar add, “if I think it’s necessary, we should move into the same room.”
Josephine’s eyes widened.
She was dumbfounded.
Josephine choked on her saliva and coughed violently.
Ragnar frowned.
He felt dissatisfied, thinking, “What’s with her reaction? Is it so terrifying when I talk about moving into the same room? Am I a beast?”
“Don’t misunderstand,” Ragnar clarified. “I just said I have mysophobia. I mentioned moving into a room together, but that’s after we get used to each other, so our relationship looks normal.”
Ragnar emphasized, “Everything is for the children.”
He even spoke up about what he had in mind. “I think actions like exchanging saliva are extremely unhygienic. I will absolutely not touch you.”
Josephine trusted Ragnar
Regardless, they were still unfamiliar with each other. It would be too embarrassing for them to suddenly move into the same room.
