Don’t Look Back I Won’t Continue to Love You Here by Lychee Jackfruit

Chapter 13

Chapter 13

As Timothy spoke, his eyes began to turn red, and his voice trembled slightly.

“Evie, I’m single now. So I can marry you without hesitation.

“Shall we go get the marriage certificate?”

When I was in love with Timothy, I wanted nothing but his undivided love for me.

But now that he actually did it, I felt uncomfortable and sickened.

“Timothy, we’re strangers now.

“I didn’t avoid you or stay mad at you. I just don’t love you anymore.

“So, please stop badgering me.’

“No, no… Evie, you can’t be so heartless.

“You can’t just walk away from me after I realize I’m deeply in love with you. You can’t be so cruel to

me.”

Timothy held my hand tightly, squeezing it hard.

“Let me go!”

“I won’t. I won’t let you go, no matter what!”

But I still withdrew my hand bit by bit, turned around resolutely, and got into a taxi.

I began to work in a new company that was closer to my house.

I would go to work and get off work every day, feeling satisfied and peaceful.

I knew Timothy had been following me these days, but I didn’t mind it as he didn’t disturb me.

Later, my company launched a new project, and I had to work overtime a lot.

One day, I got off work at night and was walking home alone when a man suddenly jumped out from the darkness, covered my mouth and nose, and dragged me into a van.

I tried to call for help, but my mouth and nose were covered.

I wanted to struggle, but I didn’t have enough strength.

When I was in despair, a man suddenly jumped out from behind and started fighting with the gangster.

was able to free myself and scream for help.

Fortunately, there were security guards on duty who were not far away. When they arrived, the gangster took advantage of the chaos and escaped.

The man who saved me was Timothy. He curled up on the ground, blood seeping from his body. “Timothy, wake up! Don’t sleep…

“Timothy, I won’t blame you anymore. Wake up…”

He barely opened his eyes and pointed at me as if to say, “I’m glad you’re okay!”

The lights in the emergency room were turned on and off again.
