Chapter Prologue
The sequel to Earth: Deafeningly rings a bell. Whose bell? Adolf Hitler? Abraham Lincoln? Mother Theresa? Maybe Former President Barrack Obama? At this rate, philanthropic, fascist, feminist, Semitic and racial voices continue to layer our dear ‘terra firma’ with their vastly diverse façades of the perfect life to the point where we have lost count of which version of Earth we are living in. 1933 had our world under Nazi siege with a newer Earth in mind and so was the 1789 -1799 uprising upon the Bourbons. We never get it right do we? As much as I reckon that real peace is ignorance, this story reiterates humanity’s hypocrisy in its belief that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Hollywood gifted us with a magical stick wielding prodigy and the wonderful wizardry world of J.K Rowling that came with him, the notion that the life we know could have always been a charade in a post-apocalyptic world/simulation ruled by robotic fiends and last of these few cinematic perfections is cannibalistic machete wielding dream haunters. The last one might be a mix up but the point is eyebrows that were raised by the then revolutionary 20th century cinephilia were of speculation and philosophy induced by our now heavily celebrated pop culture, a bar this tale intends to maintain. Chuck Leonard Harrison, this story’s spotlight hogger, is our guide to this vast new expanse. Follow him in is his journey, for it is high time you escaped yours for a historical yet futuristic sci-fi endeavour.
