Divorcing

Chapter Divorcing 427

Chapter 427 Portrait Painting

“I had learned to draw for a while when I was in school, but

I didn’t want to give it up, so I just drew occasionally. Ms. Nelson, you can be my model, and you can move around without any constraints.”

It was the first time that Chloe had been a model for a sketch.

She remembered the famous movie “Titanic” where Jack was drawing for Rose.

Suddenly, Chloe thought that drawing for someone else was

an intimate matter.

William would have to keep watching her for all the details.

Even Chloe herself might have ignored it.

Chloe thought it would take at least half an hour to paint a portrait.

Instead, William told her it was over in about ten minutes.

She walked over to see that William had only drawn the shape and hadn’t colored it yet.

“You draw very well, not like you just learned it casually!”

Chloe complimented him sincerely.

2/6

It was the first time she had seen her look so much like herself

in a portrait, and it was a watercolor.

“Ms. Nelson, it’s nice that you don’t think my drawings are ugly!”

Chloe wasn’t a picky person, so she certainly didn’t think so.

On the other side, under the Ferris wheel at the amusement park, Cathy was sitting on a bench with Monica, not far from a seven or eight year old boy.

“Monica, since you’ve lost your job now, how are you going to support yourself?”

Monica was annoyed at the mention of work.

“Go home and rely on my parents.

Cathy was refuted by Monica.

“Your nephew is tugging on a little girl’s braid.”

Cathy was stunned and turned around to see that Charlie was

grabbing a strange little girl’s hair.

“Charlie, stop it!”

Cathy rushed over to accuse Charlie. As she tugged Charlie by the ear toward Monica, she glanced at a woman not far away.

She didn’t think anything was wrong at first.

However, Cathy took a few steps before she reacted that the woman just there seemed to be Chloe.

She immediately turned back to look again.

“Monica, is that Chloe?”

Cathy was nearsighted and was inevitably afraid that she

would misrecognize Chloe when she was far away.

Monica and Chloe were considered old enemies, and it was

Chloe who had caused her to lose her job.

“That’s Chloe, and I can recognize her anyway!”

Monica felt furious and was going over to Chloe to settle the

score, thinking, “Why did the Bright Moon Entertainment ban

me?

I can’t even pay off my credit cards these days.”

Chapter 427 Portrait Painting “Hey, Monica, take it easy!”

Cathy yanked Monica back.

“Why are you yanking me? Chloe is your family, so you’re taking her side, right?”

Cathy frowned in disgust, “She is indeed my family, but that

man beside her is not Michael.”

Chloe was bending over to look at William’s painting at the

moment.

The two were so close that they looked extraordinarily

intimate.

“Did Chloe cheat on her husband?

Cathy snorted when she heard that, “I knew she was a whore

and liked to seduce other men. She not only didn’t divorce

Michael, but she also seduced men outside!”

After saying that, Cathy lifted her cell phone, turned on the camera, zoomed in and took a picture of Chloe.

Seeing that the two were leaving, Cathy even pulled Monica

to carefully chase after them.

It wasn’t until the two got into a car together that Cathy

sneered contentedly at the picture on her phone.

“Chloe, you’re so shameless. Let’s see who else will speak up

for you when the time comes!”

“Well, Cathy, look at Charlie!”

Monica yelled. The two almost lost Charlie trying to have something on Chloe.

Chloe exchanged contact details with William, and they just added each other as WhatsApp friends, which Chloe didn’t

reject.

Just after saying goodbye to William, Chloe’s cell phone showed an incoming call from Admas.

Chloe was slightly stunned, remembering that she hadn’t told Admas after she and Michael had gotten their divorce papers.

“Chloe, what are you doing? Are you busy?”

Admas‘ kind voice came over the phone.

“Admas, I’m not busy. Is something wrong?”

“Nothing. I haven’t seen you for a long time, and I’m not very well these days with my legs, so I feel quite sad when I think about what happened before.”
