“Ms. Nelson, I sent you the message. I’m sorry I didn’t have any

other way to contact you. Ten minutes ago, Mr. Shawn drank too much and was taken away by Maya.”

Chloe didn’t believe it. Michael’s alcohol tolerance wasn’t that

low.

Moreover, at a company gathering, he wouldn’t drink much, if

at all. He might not even touch the food.

“Where’s his glass?”

Everyone in the room pointed to an empty glass with some residual liquid.

Chloe walked over, picked up the glass, thanked them, and left

without further ado.

The people in the room were puzzled.

“What is Mrs. Shawn doing? Isn’t Maya her cousin?”

re the glass. She then asked, “Did you see anyone from that

room leave?”

The receptionist smiled politely, “I’m sorry, ma’am. We have many guests, and we can’t keep track of everyone.”

Chloe nodded understandingly. “Okay, inform your manager that someone was drugged in your restaurant. The person is missing. If anything happens, your restaurant might have to shut down for investigation!”

The receptionist gasped, seeing that Chloe was serious, and hurried to call the manager.

The manager arrived quickly. After understanding the situation, he took Chloe to the surveillance room.

During this time, Chloe kept calling Michael’s phone.

tracker on Michael’s phone.

The restaurant’s surveillance footage was continuous for the whole day.

Chloe had to rewind to an hour or two earlier.

Sure enough, it wasn’t long before she saw Maya helping Michael out of the room and into the nearby elevator.

“Where does the elevator go?”

“To the suites.”

Chloe felt speechless.

“Show the footage from the suites.”

Fortunately, the elevator had a camera, clearly showing Maya taking Michael to the fourth floor.

Then, she also checked the hallway cameras.

After watching, she confirmed the room number.

go, ma’am, Enjoy your stay!”

Chloe took the card and headed to the elevator without

hesitation.

Not far away, Jessica, eating crab, saw Chloe get on the elevator and said, “Chloe seems to have gone up.”
