you really are something else.”

The room froze as Terry entered, flanked by a squad of imposing bodyguards.

The kidnappers scattered like rats, leaving Katherine alone and shaking.

“Terry, please, let me explain,” Katherine begged, sweat glistening on her brow as he closed in.

Terry’s voice dripped with venom.

“Explain what? How you played innocent to win me over? How you leaked company secrets to our rivals? Or how you hid Wendy’s illness from me?”

His eyes, once warm, now burned with disgust as he listed her betrayals.

Katherine trembled, tears threatening to spill.

say goodbye.”

“Wendy suffered in her final moments. You’ll share that pain.” At his signal, the bodyguards pinned Katherine to the ground. “Wendy’s scar? That’s on you. And now you’ll pay for it.” “Didn’t you say you weren’t afraid to die? Let’s test that theory.” Terry, looking almost feral, pulled out a knife.

Katherine thrashed wildly, her pleas echoing off the warehouse walls.

“No, Terry! Please!”

She shook her head frantically, but against Terry’s rage, her efforts were useless.

I watched in horror as Terry drove the blade into her shoulder. Blood flowed, and Katherine’s screams pierced the air.

As the scene unfolded, I couldn’t help but wonder: when Katherine had so callously suggested cutting off my mother’s medical care, had she ever imagined karma would come for her like this?
