Detonate: A Dark Mafia Romance (Beneath The Mask Series Book 2)

Detonate: Chapter 30

“What shall I wear?” she calls out as she walks out of the bathroom, drying her hair with a towel, another wrapped around her body. The water shimmers against her porcelain skin. My dick twitches, despite only being inside her a few minutes ago.

A knock sounds. “I’ll get it,” I say, rushing over to the door. My first little surprise for her.

I swing open the door in only a towel wrapped around my waist. I’m greeted by a smiling older man, who gives me a bottle of champagne and two little black boxes.

“Who is it?” Maddie shouts.

The man nods and closes the door for me before I can even give him a tip. I pick up the boxes, stuffing one slyly back in my luggage. The other remains in my hands. I can’t wait to see her face when she opens this. I walk back into the bedroom.

I close the distance between us and stand behind her, looking at her in the mirror. She smiles as I approach, shutting off the hairdryer. My hands are behind my back. She spins around in her seat, tipping her head up to me. Fuck, she’s perfect.

“Hold your hands out and close your eyes,” I ask.

She raises a brow before doing as I asked. “You better not stick your dick into my mouth.”

“And why not?”

“I’m joking.” She opens her mouth wide so I can see her tonsils, and I have to stop myself from actually taking her up on the offer. “Well, go on then.”

I place the box in her mouth and her teeth bite down. Her eyes shoot open in surprise. She snatches it out of her mouth and rips the lid off. Her eyes settle on the handmade diamond-encrusted, sunshine necklace.

Her eyes well up, and with shaky hands, she brushes the necklace with her index finger.

“Grayson, oh my god. It’s beautiful.” She sniffles. “It’s too nice to actually wear. I’m so clumsy I might lose it.”

“Then I’ll buy you another one. Seeing that smile light up your face is priceless.” Tears stream down her cheeks as she takes the necklace off out the box and hands it to me. Pulling back her hair to the side, she turns back around, so her back faces me.

I secure the jewelry. The gold chain looks stunning against her skin. I bend and plant a kiss to the back of her neck and crouch beside her.

She spins in her seat.

“You know, none of this is about the money. I just need you to know that. I don’t need gifts to keep me around. Just you.” She pauses. “And your huge dick.”

“Fucking hell, I don’t know which one of us is worse.”

“Match made in heaven,” she teases, opening her legs and then spinning back around. I run my hand over my face and let out a ragged breath. There isn’t a minute of the day I don’t think about sinking into her. I know in my heart, it’s way beyond fucking. I love cuddling her, kissing her, laughing with her, winding her up. I want it all with her. Fuck, I love her.

“Be a good girl for me and get dressed. We need to leave. I think this might even be better than sex.”

She gasps in horror. “Don’t call me a good girl if you don’t want to fuck me, Grayson. You know that gets me drenched.”

Holy shit.

The hairdryer buzzes back to life.

Looks like I’m getting dressed in the other room, as it’s the only way I can resist this temptress. And we aren’t missing this surprise.
