“What you currently call the Moon, used to be the core engine of Prior Earth. Engines run in cycles.”

“I knew that the moon is artificial!”

“The moon is about to redshift.”

“Wow. You say that the moon is drifting away?”

“Not yet. Only upon the completion of its cycle. In the instant next.”
