Desire for you - ALPHA ILAY

Chapter 6

ILAY

This little beast really broke my spirit. Achira hadn't been that wrong. Meanwhile, Delilah had managed to push Catherine into the corner of my mind.

When I walked into Delilah's room, I was put on high alert by the scent of her arousal and sure enough. According to her brain, she was dreaming about me ... And it was a damn hot dream. The fact that she changed her clothes in front of me was a blast anyway. I had thought she was going to the bathroom, but nothing. She probably didn't mind that I saw her half naked.

She was quite late and I had almost guessed last night that she would oversleep. I'm sure our little princess thought that I would sleep longer today after my pleasure, but that wasn't the case. This time it was Achira's fault, next time it will be my own responsibility.

The blondes had actually been lucky, because they disappeared before things got ugly. Maybe they'd got wind of the stories about not staying with me for more than one night.

I made my way downstairs to the kitchen and sat down on one of the chairs, actually waiting for Delilah to provide me with my coffee.

A few minutes later she followed me and got my coffee ready.

"Do you remember when I told you to be on time?" She had her back turned to me and was operating the coffee machine.

"Yes," she finally said, putting the cup in front of me.

"Well, you're clearly late ... I think a massage would be in order to make up for it." I grinned and looked at her.

Her eyes widened and she didn't say anything in response.

"That was fun, have a coffee first, it's still pretty early to be making jokes. You're right..." I said to her and sighed softly.

She pretended it was an order with the coffee and sat down next to me with her cup.

"You'll find some pills for headaches in the drawer," I said to her. All that alcohol was certainly painful for an untrained girl.

She shook her head: "No, it's fine," she mumbled to herself and sipped from her cup.

Delilah didn't even dare ask me another question, so I left it at that and didn't do anything of the sort either.

At least I didn't speak. In this position, I had the best opportunity to explore her mind. There was a lot she had experienced. Six hundred years was not exactly a short time for a human, but for a demon she was still considered "young".

"You're supposed to be my mate? Don't make me laugh! I'd rather work for Lucifer than be with you," the man said to Delilah, pointing his finger at her.

That had to be Zamiel. Apparently he was really shocked that Delilah was his mate.

Delilah looked sadly to the ground and was apparently speechless.

"You will come with me now," Zamiel demanded and grabbed her firmly by the arm. "Ow! Let go of me ... Just turn me down and be good, I don't understand what else you want from me?" She tried to break away from his grip but couldn't. He was too strong for her to stand up to him. She was at his mercy and no one was there to help her.

I tried to recognise where they were. It was definitely Daemons-Heaven, it was some filthy gutters that Zamiel was dragging Delilah through. Maybe her memories would help me find the origin of the slave trade? The market was a front for sale. The real trade was backstage. God knows what was traded there.

I tried to look more closely into her memories, to get a clue ... Maybe I just had to go after Zamiel?

Delilah was roughly pushed to the floor by Zamiel. Tears were streaming down her face.

"I Zamiel Redington, reject you Delilah Churchill, deal with it," he hissed at her as she writhed on the floor in pain.

She didn't want to accept the rejection, but the pain became massive anout of breath she fell to the floor.

"For having the surname Churchill, you're no good." He spat on the ground beside her and then turned to the merchant I strangled in the market. "There you have my mate, virgin, just as you wanted," he said to him, to which Leroy laughed. "Six hundred years old and a virgin? Do you really believe that, Zamiel?" he asked him with a grin.

Leroy's teeth were in a black state. His beer belly and dirty clothes said everything about him.

Zamiel shrugged his shoulders and looked at Delilah: "Apparently there are women who cling to true love."

They both laughed again and Delilah's memory seemed to fade.

Delilah sipped her cup as if nothing had happened. It was a five-second glimpse, so she didn't notice my mental tour.

The way Delilah was dumped was just atrocious. Rejected and sold. I thought my story was sad, but Delilah's was even worse.

She was looking out of the window, lost in thought, and apparently she was also preoccupied with her past.

"Get up, you dirty bitch! It's about time you made yourself useful," Leroy said to her. She looked up at him in confusion and was locked in a filthy cell. Her clothes were torn and there wasn't much left to cover her skin.

She looked even thinner than she did now and could barely stand on her legs.

"Since we don't want to deflower you, I guess your mouth and arse will have to do," Leroy laughed dirty and pulled Delilah by her hair.

"No! Stop it, please, I don't want this!" Delilah screamed loudly and tried to get away from Leroy. He dragged her into a dimly lit room and threw her at the feet of a man.

"No ... NO!" Delilah screamed, but it was no use. She got a firm slap in the face from Leroy, who rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"This is the virgin you wanted, the arse and the mouth are allowed, everything else remains untouched. Understood?" He said to the man, who pressed a purse into his hand.

"With pleasure," the guy said with a grin and Leroy disappeared from the room again.

The only thing I could make out in the room was a sign labelled "Ruby".

Damn, this was the whorehouse away from Daemons-Heaven! It was well known that this whorehouse was a whorehouse, but that slaves were held captive and such dirty deals took place was less well known.

He had hidden them all in the cellar....

The man walked up to Delilah, grabbed her hair and yanked it back tightly.

"Let's see what you've got to offer," he said with a grin and pulled down his trousers. The fear in Delilah's eyes was massive and something changed in her eyes. Delilah was trembling violently and all the colour had drained from her face.

Before the man could even touch her, Delilah began to scream, "No ... No ... NO!" She roared loudly and a powerful energy gathered in the room and flung the demon away from her. Delilah's power was so massive that the whole house began to shake and the window panes shattered.

The man and Delilah both fell to the floor unconscious and the only thing I could see was her being dragged back to her cell by Leroy.

My heart stopped at this event and I scrutinised Delilah unobtrusively. Could our little Laylah have such strength? A wave surge like that takes years of training and she had managed to create one in a matter of seconds.

Had I actually seen it like that? Yes, I had.

I drank the last sip of my coffee and thought about what I should do.

My guilty conscience towards her came back to me. She'd had a tough time and the fact that she was now dealing with me didn't make it any better.

Delilah Churchill ... Certainly no relation to Winston Churchill, but probably not entirely unrelated after what I'd seen.

Maybe Zamiel had actually been wrong. There was a lot more to Delilah than a poor, helpless girl.

"Delilah? Where are you girl, we still have some work to do?" May shouted and finally ran into the kitchen.

When May saw me drinking coffee with Delilah, she seemed irritated at first: "I'm sorry, sir, I was just looking for her ... She has to help me with something," May apologised.

Delilah stood up immediately and walked towards May, "No problem, I asked Delilah to have a coffee with me, that's on me," I said and sighed softly.

May just nodded and didn't say anything else. Eventually, they both disappeared from the kitchen and left me alone again.

At least I thought I was alone.

Achira was leaning against the door and looked at me motionlessly.

Without turning my head, I could already feel her presence. "What?" I asked her and leant back on the chair.

She walked towards me, annoyed, and came towards me with her hands on her hips.

"First you turn her down and now you're having coffee with her? What are you doing?" she asked me with a furrowed brow.

I shrugged my shoulders: "Father wants to put an end to the slave trade, right?" I asked her.

She nodded, confused.

"Well, through Delilah's memories, I found out right this second that they're being held captive in a basement in the Ruby," I explained to her.

"You've been digging around in their minds?" she asked me in surprise.

I had to grin and admittedly nodded. "I've been doing that since she got here"

"You rascal..." Achira said and also took a coffee.

"Now that you know the truth, you know why I was rummaging around in her head. After all, I have a job to do for Father and it's going to be slow and painful," I sighed and looked out of the window. The weather was horribly rainy, it seemed to match my mood.

"Is this supposed to be a vendetta?" Achira grinned at me and sipped her coffee leisurely.

I shrugged my shoulders, "We'll see about that then."

"Ohh ohhh, bad, bad Ilay is getting a soft heart after all!" Achira shrieked and hugged me.

"You can stop that, nobody gets a soft heart." I rolled my eyes and hugged her too.

"Don't pretend, we both know you can never be angry. You're just a diva," she said with a grin.

If Achira keeps this up, I'm seriously going to have to look for a new place to stay.
