Alora POV
I'm pacing the soft carpeted bedroom floor, most likely leaving worn marks as I retrace the same steps over and over again. What was taking Than so long.
Then I hear shouting downstairs, Than yelling at his own parents, ordering them out of his house. I can't help but walk to the door, opening it slightly to hear more clearly...hear Medea trying to argue back. Trying to remain within the house and not leave with Alpha Damon.
I hurry away from the door as I hear Than stomp up the stairs, and I prepare myself for his wrath...I caused this, I know I did. It is my fault he is angry, I shouldn't have gone off like that with Hector but for once I needed to know...I needed to hear it first hand and not be through the words of another.
"What were you thinking?" He roars at me as he opens the door to our bedroom, slamming it behind him. "He could have marked you, I couldn't have done anything to stop it."
"No Hector would never do that, he would never force himself like that..." My words quietly dwindle out, Hector's words coming back to me. 1
He forced himself on Kaia. No, Than would never do that.
"What did he say?" Than demands as he takes his top off, his muscles flexing from his anger as he walks into the ensuite turning the shower on. What was he doing, was he so enraged he needed a cold shower to calm down.
He walks back out, as I remain frozen on the spot, eyes on the Alpha unravelling before me.
He stalks towards me with a thunderous predator look in his eyes, stopping and sniffing the air around me...before his nose sniffs my face.
"You stink of him...did he kiss you?" He snarls, his hands clenching into balls by the side of him, his body trembling with anger.
"No of course not!" I respond hiding the regret within me. He didn't kiss me, but the lingering scent would be from his closeness to my face, to our almost kiss. I'm an idiot.
"Open..."
"What?"
"Open your mouth.." His hand grips at my jaw, my mouth following his alpha command as it opens widely for him. 1
I'm aghast at what is happening, as he seems to smell my breath, making sure no traces of Hector's saliva remain in my mouth.
"I didn't kiss him!" I knock his hand away from my jaw, my own anger now rising within me.
How dare he question me like that.
Even if Hector did kiss me, I returned home to Than. He was the one that married his other mate, yet I never bring that up....I never challenge him about that as often as he challenges me about Hector."

"Shower now!" His alpha command washes over me again and without my wolf at her full strength I haven't got a hope in hell of fighting it.
Dragging my feet I slowly start heading to the ensuite, the steam from the hot shower already entering the bedroom. Walking into the misty bathroom I go to close the door behind me, wanting space between him and me, when he follows me in...already stripping his own clothes off waiting for me to do the same.
Keeping my eyes on his, I strip down leaving my clothes on the floor, when he picks them up and tosses them in the bin.
"Than?" I gasp out at his bizarre behaviour, there's jealously and then there's this red haze that seems to currently have taken over him.
"Than, nothing happened..." I frustratingly roar out as I try to take my clothes back. They only needed to be washed, not thrown out. He was acting like he did with the diary.
He pulls me into the shower, the hot water burning my skin at first but I don't react...he just needs me close to him, he needs the scent of the other wolf off me.
The other wolf that has always been his competition, even before I was meant to be his as well.
"Than?"
"Shhh..." He places my finger to his mouth as he hushes me, his naked body standing against mine as we
both stand under the hot stream of the shower head.
"You belong to me!" He growls, his eyes opening to that of his wolf. His hazel eyes taking on a redder tone to them, his anger bleeding out.
"Open your mouth!" He commands and I can feel my body reluctantly following his order, my mouth opening wide for him to inspect again.
"He told me to mark you, for you to leave him alone...hhmm? Is that what you think a mate does, abandons another." He seethes out, his lips almost touching mine. His closeness leaving a burning buzz on my skin, he needed to touch me or back away. "No." I gasp out as he takes hold of my jaw again, his hold a little too firm for my Than.
"But you did, you abandoned me. Everything I'm doing is for you, to keep you alive. Why can't you see
that."
"I do, I'm sorry Than, I never meant to abandon you." I whimper out.
"You belong to me!" He repeats as his hand continues to hold my jaw, while the other snakes to the back of my neck.
Before I know it he has thrust his tongue into my mouth...his saliva mixing with mine as he tastes every part of my mouth.
I know what he is doing, he's trying to erase any hint of Hector from me. I don't struggle against his firm hold, he needs to do this but my mind thinks of Kaia.
Was he like this with her....possessive. Is that what Hector meant. If so she had him all wrong, Than just needed reassuring... he needed to know that he was meant for this life, meant to be the Alpha of the Amber Desert pack. Chapter 0080
