The Guardians series will continue in the next book, Watcher.

It is not the story of Natalie, although we will return to her tale in later books.

Watcher takes place in the past, two centuries earlier. It begins the tale of a Seer born into servitude on a plantation in Antebellum Mississippi. She can communicate with her own Guardian, but she is also being watched by someone else.
