Deceiving My Bully Stepbrother

I followed my wife around the grocery store like a lost puppy, my hands glued to her hips as she pushed the cart and focused on the list before her.

Moose and Alder were with us and everyone was on edge..our eyes darting towards every person we passed..the paranoia hitting us hard..

I couldn't help but feel like we were being watched..hopefully this will all be over soon. I was surprised my mom decided to reach out to my Grandpa, but if anyone can stop dad, it's him.

I don't want to say Walt Alvarez is like a mafia don..but it's pretty damn close..he is a very powerful man and even my dad seemed to be intimidated by him. But my mom always protected dad from that..so now that they are divorced, and mom isn't playing around, I'm curious to see what happens.

"Baby, can you grab the bananas?" Johnnie asked as I reluctantly pulled away before racing over to the bananas and grabbing them quickly, tossing them back into the cart.

"Jeez, you're going to bruise them Cas." Alder mumbled as I just glared over at him.

"So, Jo..there's something I wanted to ask..." Moose suddenly spoke up before tucking his phone away in his pocket. "In a hypothetical situation..if you were a girl.." He began, making Jo laugh.

"She is a girl dipshit." I grumbled.

"Okay..if you were a somewhat single girl who didn't have a leech of a husband attached at your..ow!"

I smacked Moose on the back of the head, making him rub it slowly before laughing.

"Fine..if you were ANNA.." He finally stated..getting to the f*****g point as Alder watched the interaction, seeming to be completely amused.

"How would you personally feel about dating two guys.."

"I'm not liking this hypothetical situation.." I muttered, ready to beat Moose's a*s.

"Well..I'm definitely a one Caspian type of woman." Johnnie added, obviously to appease me...which worked incredibly. "But..Anna isn't really like other people. She has always believed that love comes in all different forms..and if I understand what you are

asking..well..it might not be her that you need to check with exactly..I think the other person involved might be uncomfortable with it. I mean..maybe, what do you think baby?" Johnnie turned the question towards me..which I kind of zoned out after what she said about me and have been staring at her a*s this whole time.

"Hm?" I asked, making Johnnie roll her eyes before bumping her b**t into me..which I liked, a lot.

"I think the question is, are you just pursuing Anna? Or are you into Milo too?" Alder asked casually while tossing a bag of chips into the cart.

"Well..I mean..I like the idea of seeing them together.." Moose mumbled, seeming to be embarrassed as I saw his cheeks warm..wow, this is the first time I have ever seen Moose blush I swear.

"Dude, that's okay, whatever floats your boat..but I would approach this as respectfully as you can..ask them both on a date." Alder said with a big grin while walking backward.

"Yeah, that's a great idea.." Moose mumbled to himself before pulling out his phone and texting someone.

I'm guessing either Milo or Anna.

"So, the next big question is, why the hell are you single Alder?" Moose asked out of the blue, making Alder glance over at Johnnie and I briefly before looking away.

"Just haven't met the right girl yet." He shrugged, his answer definitely generic.

"Plus I knew my dad probably would take control over that at some point..so I didn't want to get into anything serious."

I watched as Johnnie frowned before touching my brother's arm gently..which made me more jealous than I would've like to admit.

"Hey, you don't have to worry about that now. You are free to date whoever you want." She said softly, making Alder meet her gaze for a moment before smiling and looking away.

"I'm not going to force anything. If it happens..it happens..and if not, that's okay too..not everyone can be as lucky as you two though." He added before grabbing Johnnie and messing up her hair, making her whine.

I watched as Alder glanced towards me and lifted his hands in mock surrender as I reached for Johnnie and pulled her against my chest. I then proceeded to fix her hair while she gazed up at me in the most adorable way.

"There, all better." I whispered, my palms sliding to her cheeks before gripping her tight and placing a kiss on her lips. "Okay, come on, let's go before you two start that thing you do.." Alder grumbled, making me look at him curiously. "What thing?" I asked while tucking my wife beneath my arm and tugging her along.

"That sappy s**t where you start kissing and making weird cutesy noises." He mumbled while leading us to the checkout lane.

"I can't help the noises Caspian makes! He's like an adorable little puppy!" Johnnie exclaimed, making my mouth drop open..as she proceeded to lift on her tiptoes and pet my head.

"Aww..he is, isn't he..look at those eyes." Moose joined in, prompting me to punch him in the gut as he doubled over and let out a laugh.

"No fair..how come Johnnie gets to pet you and I don't?" He grumbled as I gripped my wife around the waist and yanked her towards me.

"Because she does a lot to earn it." I smiled widely, causing my brother to make a gagging sound as Moose smirked widely.

"Caspian!" Johnnie scolded me as I reached down and spanked her butt softly..the memories of what we just did in the shower earlier making my d**k twitch.

I really can't wait to get our own place..I just want my wife to walk around the house naked all day so I can f**k her whenever I feel like it...which is all the damn time.

"I don't even know how you are going to handle going back to school Cas..you guys only have a month left..and when does practice start?" My brother chimed in, putting a damper on my mood..

The season officially starts in October but we begin training a week before summer break ends. So I know s**t is about to get even more complicated and we have to figure it out still.

"In a few weeks. We meet up with the new recruits then." I added, my eyes glancing towards Johnnie as she looked up at me curiously.

Before I didn't really have to worry about anything but hockey..so I know this will be a challenge.

"It's okay, we will figure it out.." Johnnie said softly, her arms circling my waist as she nodded encouragingly.

I also talked to the couch the other day..and he wants to meet up with me to have dinner with him and bring Johnnie along so he can meet her..

Yeah, he definitely was not happy..he even threatened to give my position to someone else if I seemed too distracted..he didn't want to take any chances.

Last year was the first time WSU won the championship in four years, so the coach was more determined than ever to get us there again.

So this weekend he wants to meet up..I haven't exactly told Johnnie yet with everything going on.

Now that I have pretty much burned my bridges with Dad and the King industies, I can pursue hockey 100%.

So from this point forward, I need to give that my all, and I know Johnnie will be right by my side to cheer me on.

She has always been supportive when we were younger..and after seeing those articles she kept of my wins, I knew she still was now.

After paying and bagging up our groceries, we started walking out of the grocery store when someone suddenly bumped into Johnnie, making her almost go tumbling back as a man with a thick long beard and a baseball hat reached out to steady her. "I'm sorry about that, I wasn't watching where I was going." His deep voice rumbled as Johnnie looked up at him with confusion.

"It..it's okay." She breathed, making me tug her along as the guy stood there for a momemt, just staring.

I watched as my wife continued to glance behind her shoulder.

"What is it baby?" I asked worriedly, could that have been someone working for my dad? He was acting strange and his voice seemed slightly familiar..

"Nothing..it's nothing..come on, let's go back to the house and watch a movie." She added quietly before smiling up at me. "Whatever my wife wants, my wife gets." I declared, while bending down and kissing her sweet lips.

"Yes!!" Moose suddenly boomed, making Johnnie jump.

"They agreed, they want to go on a date." He exclaimed.

I just shook my head in disbelief as Moose and Johnnie jumped up and down excitedly..

She already told me Anna was more than interested, but she said Anna told her not to say anything to Moose. She wanted to make sure he was really interested first..so yeah..this is kind of weird but hey..like Alder said, whatever floats their boat I guess. Maybe I should call Milo later just to make sure..as weird as it might be..I just know he went through a lot with his ex..so I hope he isn't just agreeing to this to make Anna happy.
