Deceiving My Bully Stepbrother

I slid my backpack over my shoulders, the anxiety officially setting in as I paced back and forth in front of my apartment door.

"I can't believe I'm really doing this.." I muttered to myself, feeling my stomach twist with each step I took.

I never thought in a million years that Theo would agree to this. Honestly, I believed my asking for control would be the one thing that would make him want to back out..but nope..he was all for it! And what he did after I agreed to this..I swear I'm still recovering from that.

Surprisingly Theo hasn't asked anything from me in return yet sexualy..which I'm kind of surprised..maybe it's because he is saving it all up for when I signed the contract..that's probably it..he just wants to lure me in. Now I just have to think of what to do to get Theo to forget about this whole contract thing.

At first I thought if I just got through these two days and said no after..I'm not sure if Theo would even take no for an answer..he hasn't so far..

Then I thought about running away and changing my name..maybe dying my hair or better yet.. leaving the country altogether..

Yeah..that won't work either.

Then it hit me..what is the one thing Theo seems to hate the most?

Commitment..obviously. He doesn't want to be tied down..and if he believed I had fallen in love with him over these next two days..it would make his life absolutely miserable..he might just cancel the contract.

And how exactly would I do that? Become clingy as hell..

Things would never work between us anyways..no matter how many times the thought enters my mind..I just know deep down he can't give me what I want..

Which is true and honest love..someone who just wants me exactly the way I am and doesn't want to change a single thing about me..and Theo isn't that.

Yeah our s****l chemistry is out of this world..I'm talking next level type of stuff..but that won't be enough..and I'm afraid if I accept his contract, I would be in too deep..and when Theo decides to get rid of me, I don't know if I could survive that. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, making me freeze mid step as my heart leaped into my throat. He was here..

I quickly ran my fingers through my long blonde hair before smoothing out my pink sundress. Dang..maybe I just should've worn sweats and a hoodie..it's too late to change now.

I reached for the door, my hand turning the handle before slowly pulling it open as I felt my eyes widen in shock..oh god..what was he wearing?!

Theo had on a tan polo shirt with grey slacks..his hair was pushed back messily and he was leaning agaisnt the doorframe..I had never seen him dressed so casually before. It was shocking..

How the hell did he get even hotter?! I swallowed hard, trying to compose myself as Theo dragged his brown eyes up and down my body slowly.

"You ready to go?" Theo asked cooly, making me nod as he pushed off the doorframe and stepped closer to me. "Where's your luggage?" He quipped, his voice was so deep and husky that it sent a shiver trembling through me. "It's right here." I said before turning and showing my backpack.

"That's it?" He asked, sounding surprised. I nodded my head softly before stepping closer to him.

"We are only going to be gone for two nights. We won't need much, right Mr. Hart?" I whispered, trying to be cute as Theo stared down at me intently.

That's when he stepped closer, his hand going to reach for me as I quickly dodged it.

"Nuh-uh..I thought you said I was in charge.." I said before crossing my arms in front of my chest. That's when I noticed Theo's brow furrow in confusion as I took one step back.

I watched his jaw clench as he balled his hand into a fist before dropping it to his side.

"So what does that mean? That I can't touch you?" He scoffed, making me smile as he just stared at me for a few moments.

"Ava..we didn't agree on that." He stated darkly, making me sigh as I lifted my hand before brushing my blonde hair back.

"You agreed that I was in control, and that's my first rule..no touching unless I say." I whispered, trying to muster all the courage I had in me for this one moment.

I stepped towards him, my hand rising as I placed my palm against his cheek, watching his eyes flutter in response as Theo suddenly let out a shuddering breath.

Our gazes locked, the air growing thick with tension between us as I parted my.lips softly.

"We don't have to do this Theo..We can just call off the whole thing if you.."

"No..If that's what you want, then I will follow the rules. No touching unless you say." He rushed out, making me stare up at him in shock. Seriously?! Dammit..I should've known it wouldn't be that easy.. "O-okay..well..I guess we should get going then." I sputtered, feeling Theo hovering above me as I went to step back, needing some space between us.

That's when I bumped into the door behind me, making me realize I was now trapped.

"But Ava..I hope you know what that means.." He began, causing me to raise my head to stare up at him.

He slowly lifted his arm, placing it on the door above me as he bent down close to my ear.

"It means you will have to beg me tonight when you want me to lick that p***y." He whispered, making my stomach flip as his words seeped straight to my core.

"We better go, the car is waiting." Theo smirked before pushing off of the door and stepping back, giving me some much needed space to breath.

I just nodded my head, watching him turn to step out of my apartment as I quickly collected myself before lunging forward and grabbing his hand.

Theo stopped in his tracks, his gaze slowly dropping as he peered down at my small hand gripping his.

"I want to hold hands." I said casually, going to step forward as I knew he must hate this. By the look on his face, it was the last thing he expected, I'm sure.

"If that's what you want." He said cooly, not seeming annoyed..so I decided to up the ante.

I looped my other arm around his muscular bicep, practically gluing myself to his side as I stared up at him sweetly.

"So, are you going to tell me where we are going at least...baby."

I swear Theo's eyes almost popped out of his head. The look on his face making me fight the urge to burst into laughter as it was one of shock and horror.

"You don't mind me calling you that..do you?" I said, trying to hide my smile.

"Nope..not at all.." He mumbled..and I couldn't help but give myself a mental high-five..this has to be annoying him. I mean..I have never seen him look like that before..I swear it's like he doesn't even know what to do.

I held his hand tightly, feeling him start to let go as I wondered what he would do next. Suddenly he looked down and slid his fingers between mine....intertwining our hands together and making my heart practically leap out of my chest.

"I like this way better, sweetheart." His words made my knee buckle, causing me to trip as I almost rolled my ankle and went tumbling flat on my face.

What the hell! He can't flip this on me!

"Ava! For Christ's sake! Be careful..are you okay? Do I have to carry you to the damn car?" He snapped while holding onto me tightly, making me shake my head no as I kept my mouth shut..

Okay..I think I need to come up with a better plan..has he figured me out already? There is no way in hell he would do that willingly..

Maybe he is calling my bluff..well..game on Theo..there is no way in hell I am going to sign that contract..and I'm going to get you to fold one way or another. He will want nothing to do with me by the end of this..I just have to remember that this is all just a game to him..whatever you do Ava..do not fall for Theo Hart.
