Death & Dreams Book 1

Its December 1, we just finished the house and now I'm taking Jade, Raven, Nicky, Lily, Sara, Vivian, and Kayla to pick out the furniture.

I think that was the worst mistake of my life.

If it wasn't for the fact that I owned a few companies and have almost two million dollars, I would've been bankrupt...the bank even called me and said that someone may have gotten hold of my card and are spending like crazy.

After clearing things up with the bank I tell the girls to tone down the spending. Now they're arguing about which refrigerator to get when Seb came and stood beside me.

"I got the rings"

He gave me the box with the rings

"Thanks, it's a good thing you got it before the girls make me bankrupt"

Seb smiled, "It was your idea to let them pick the furniture."

I sighed, "Yeah I know"

The girls finally picked a refrigerator and moved on to stoves but now I needed to leave before I pull my hair out.

I gave Seb my card, "make sure I don't go broke while I go check on Fantasy will ya?"

"yep"

I blinked to Fantasy's room and see her walk in with some lady.

"Hey Thantos" Fantasy skips over to me to give a kiss

"Hey babe, who's this?"

"This is Mrs. Kickies, she's making my dress for my parents Christmas party. Which I need to ask you something?"

She bites her lip and distracted me, "About what?"

"Will you be my date to this?"

I'm staring at her lips not really listening, "Yeah sure, whatever you want"

She started clapping, "So you'll let Mrs. Kickies make your suit and have Seb and everyone come to the party as well."

My brain finally catches up with what she just said, "Wait what?"

"You're going to be my date to my parents' party and Seb along with everyone's is coming with you. Thank you baby."

She kissed my cheek and the lady started taking her measurements.

I blinked a few times, just standing there not fully understanding what she just said.

"Fantasy what do mean by party? I thought it was going to be just me, you, and your parents celebrating your birthday."

She sighed, "They forgot and planned a business party, I asked them about our dinner and that's why they said that I can bring my friends."

I closed my eyes and groaned in annoyance. Her parents always pulled some shit like this. I thought back to last year, when they left for a so called business trip and Seb, me, and everyone else had to make a sweet sixteen in three hours. It was shitty, the cake was lopsided, we could only get few balloons and kiddy birthday hats yet Fantasy had a smile on her face and said that she loved it.

When her parents got back I cussed them out and they bought her a car to apologize for forgetting her birthday. The next day Fantasy gave the car to a homeless couple, she put everything in their names and even gave them ten thousand dollars for a home and whatever else they needed she gave them her phone number so they could call whenever they needed. The couple was and still is grateful but Fantasy's parents weren't, in fact they were pissed. Fantasy paid them no mind and waited on the couple to call. They only called twice, one was asking for help to get a job. Fantasy asked if they could work for me, I said they start Monday. The second time was to thank Fantasy for everything and to ask if she would kindly get rid of their number so they wouldn't be tempted to call her over something that they can do themselves.

I thought after me scaring them and Fantasy giving her gift away was enough for her parents to not do some shit like this again but I guess not.

"please Thantos" Fantasy looked at me with puppy dog eyes but she didn't need to look at me like that for me to do whatever she wanted.

I lied on her bed beside Dracul and pulled out my phone, "fine, I'll do it but only for you Neve Bianco."

She smiled and ran over to kiss me lightly but I held her in place, forgetting all about Miss whatever.

After a minute or so, miss whats-her-face coughed causing Fantasy to pull away blushing. "Go have your dress made, Neve Bianco and tell the lady to have my suit match you one way or another."

She nodded and went towards the lady while I called Seb and everyone. I told them about the party and they agreed to come. I hung up and was about to fall asleep when Seb called me saying, "This party is going to screw up the plan"

"I know we'll just have to come to this and when its time we'll leave."

"Ok" There was some shuffling noises but then Seb's voice came back, "The girls want to have a girls day out with Fantasy."

"hold on" I sighed and put the phone down.

"Babe" looking at Fantasy

She hmmed, "the girls want to have a girls day out with you"

"ok when?"

Picking up the phone, "she said when"

"...they said next Saturday ...and that she should wear tennis shoes"

Watching Fantasy get turned for something, "Babe they said next Saturday and to wear tennis shoes"

"K, ask where are we going to meet?"

Back to Seb, "Where they going?"

Some shuffling, "They said the mall...why are we being the messenger boys?"

"I don't know but tell the guys they have to wear a tux or suit with dress shoes. No t-shirts, jeans, tennis shoes or flip flop or boots"

There was collective groans and curses in the background. "They heard"

"Good, I'll call you later to see if they bankrupted me yet."

Laughing, "you better hope they didn't put you in a million dollar debt yet"

I groaned and hung-up when Seb laughed some more.

I looked over at Fantasy to see the woman holding different color fabrics against her then I fell asleep.
