Death & Dreams Book 1

Two days passed, I was in Fantasy's room, playing with Fantasy's hair while she was doing homework, when the guys came.

Fantasy turned towards me, "be safe"

I kissed her softly, "always am"

Getting up I look at Vivian, Sarah, and Nicky, "Will you three stay here with Fantasy, in case something happens?"

"Sure" Sarah smiled at Fantasy and clapped her hands.

Vivian shrugged her shoulders while Nicky nodded her head.

"Alright lets go"

I kissed Fantasy one last time before blinking to Shaw's office, only to see he wasn't in the room.

Looking around I saw two tall bookshelves on either side of a window seat, beside the desk there was a little bed or something for you to lay on.

Chris opens the wooden door and the hallway is plain white walls with picture of Shaw, his wife and their daughter. The wooden floors was just cleaned, it would be a shame to get them dirty.

Chris had the same thought as me when he put his dirty covered shoes on the oh so clean floors and made sure to rub it in.

That's when I heard the laughter, it was coming from downstairs. Everyone stopped what they were doing and listened to the happy family laughter that was coming from the dining room.

We listened to Shaw asking how his daughter was handling school and if she made any friends. They started to talk about their lives before they moved here and other things.

Shaw had the perfect life, wife, and daughter. He didn't have a worry in the world while the rest of us suffered.

The resentment for him just kept growing and seeing the family picture on the desk was not helping.

Chris closed the door slowly and sat on the bed.

Raven and Lily sat on the window seat while Alexander leaned against one of the shelves with Mack. Kayla sat with Chris. Everyone else spread throughout the room, not saying anything.

An hour later the door opens and in comes Shaw with a smile on his face. That is before he sees us.

He fully comes in and closes the door behind him.

"I didn't think you were coming"

Jade sneers at him, "well we've been here for an hour now, waiting for you."

Lily sighs, "Can we get this over with so I can sleep?"

Shaw sits at his desk, "it started when I was nineteen and in college, when an oracle came to me saying that I am to protect the next generation of Death Dealers. I didn't believe her because I didn't do anything wrong to have that thrown at me."

Mack interrupted, "So you're saying that we fucked up your life"

"No, I...I knew that if anyone found out then I would be killed and the council would've tortured me. I didn't know what to think, so one day I went for a walk and ended in a hospital room with a woman giving birth. That was day that I saw a death dealer born for the first time, the day that Thantos was born."

Shaw looked at me along with the others.

I didn't say anything.

"It was also the day that I decided to do what I can for all of you without having anyone think that I was connected to you. I thought you all didn't need anything at the time because you were new born. So I continued my life while watching yours. I'll admit that I didn't really pay attention to any of you until you were thirteen. More specially when Thantos was a three weeks away from turning thirteen."

I took a deep breath and let it out slowly, remembering exactly which day he was talking about.

He paused and sighed, "The accident was what made me realize that you all weren't being treated right. By that time it was too late to take any of you away from hell."

I laughed out loud and said, "It took me getting beaten, stabbed, whipped to death and molested in public for you to realize that our lives were hell. You do realize that Seb had his throat slit open by the girl he was dating at the time to try and help me. It took Seb and me to die for your eyes to open."

He open his mouth to say something but I cut him off, "What about when Nicky was ganged raped and shot in the head at the age of eight, what about when Sarah was buried alive at the age of seven, or the time when Vivian was cut open and had all her organs taken out and she was buried with her organs on top of her when she was six. You're telling me you couldn't do shit then."

I was pissed and I wanted to kill something badly, just for remembering their deaths and mine.

"Thantos-"

I slam my hands on his desk and lean in close, "I had to change their fate and tie them to me so they can live and they almost didn't make it. The reason they aren't in this room today is because I knew you were going to bring up someone's past and I didn't want them to have to relive that. I brought Seb back after I woke up from my coma but for me it took three females to bring me back to life, a human, a werewolf and a demon. The human prayed to the heavens for me not to die, so hard that God forced an angel to come and help while the werewolf put some of her blood into me knowing that it would make me into a werewolf but I would be alive. The demon just so happen to be Jeff's wife and she put a demon inside of me because she wanted me to live as well. I'm alive because of them. And it's funny how you still weren't there. Now you need to tell me what the hell you are doing here and why now."

By then my eyes were red and my claws and fangs painfully slow came out as I wait for him to answer.

The door to the office opens and Mrs. Shaw waltz in, "He's here to right his wrongs"

I scoffed and turned towards her, "it's going to take more than a visit to fix all this shit."

I heard a gasped and saw Shaw's daughter in the hallway staring at me in fear.

"You said that you didn't want the girls to relive that, then why did you bring Seb?" Shaw asked.

Seb answered, "Because I wasn't going to be left behind."

I was still staring at the girl who was looking at me like I was a monster that was going to eat her slowly.

"I suggest that you stop looking at my daughter before something bad happens" Mrs. Shaw says to me

I smirk but still looked at the girl, "and what you're going to pull the gun from behind you and shot me? Do it, not like it hasn't happened before."

"I do what I need to protect my family"

"As do I, get out the gun and pull the trigger. Let's see who dies first."

It was quiet for a second or two before Alexander said, "Than, I think it's time for us to leave, wouldn't want to scare their guest or start a fight with them."

I nodded, "let's go"

They left one by one until I was the last one before I left I say to the girl, "See you soon"

I blinked out the room just as the doorbell ranged.

And I was back in my angel's room with her in nothing but a towel.

"Thantos, what happened?"

My final string of control snapped.
