Chapter 54 Unmoved
"Viola, sit here." Myles suggested kindly, "We're all a family. You don't have to sit alone."
"Come on, I'm busy." Viola twisted her eyebrows impatiently.
Myles's eyes flashed a trace of disgust, but his fat face was still calm, saying, "I am sad about what you said to Janet. I thought this house together with your mother, and it is under our name. I wanted to show you prove, but unexpectedly, I failed to find the house property certificate."
Viola raised her eyebrow, moved her eyes from the phone to Myles.
How could a mercenary like Myles would lose something as important as his house property certificate? Did he think she was a gullible fool?
Her eyes were so sharp that Myles's heart shivered slightly.
But he still said gently, "Since childhood, you and Janet fought for everything, but you have both grown up. As her elder sister, you should be nice to her. Besides, she did nothing wrong. How could you say that you are going to drive us out?"
Viola sneered and felt interesting, "Finished?"
"It is my turn then, first, since it is the house bought by you and my mother, and there are names in the house property certificate, you might as well go to do a replacement and show me. Second, why should I be nice to Janet? She stole my fiance, spread the rumor I was kept by a rich man, and she even went with Eric to try to catch us in bed. And you, my good father, you have always acted as an accomplice. You make me disappointed. Don't you three have new tricks?"
Viola calmly said. Janet's face darkened. She tightly clutched the corner of her clothes. As she was to stand up, she was pressed down by Amity.
Myles took a deep breath, holding
back his impulse to choke Viola to death, pretending to be nice, "Viola, your younger sister has no other way. You cheated on Eric at the first place. And it was not that they tried to catch you in bed, it was Eric defending for Janet because she was sad."
"Honey, stop that." Amity glared at Myles.
Looking guilty, she toward the Viola, "Viola, I know you feel bad for your mother who went missing for so many years, but people should look into the future. If this house was really bought by your mother, we will give it back to you. When I gave birth to Janet, I was a new mother and I was still young, so I might have not taken good care of you......"
Amity even cried at this.
Wow, Amity did not change a bit and still thought she was easy to deal with as she was as a child.
Amity held her hand, "You are big
now, and we are family, how can we not live together? I have asked Janet to empty your room before. You are the biggest daughter of the Sutton family, your father's treasure we should treat you well."
Amity took a look at Myles and then stared at Viola with tearful eyes.
They had long felt that Viola was too much of a hinder. Instead of getting her out of sight, they had better ask her to come back and keep an eye on her at home. In this way, they had plenty of time to fix her.
So what if Viola knew she was acting? It did not matter, what mattered was that Viola was alone in the Sutton family and no one could help her!
