Chapter 48 She Cannot Lose
The call was cut off.
Sucy's scream was so penetrating that Steven, sitting next to her, could hear it clearly even if it was not on speaker.
He raised his eyebrows. "Your secretary?"
Viola like got a blow. This fool! Sucy must have come to the horse farm without tell her!
Viola did not answer him, nor hear what he said. She was thinking how to save Sucy.
The interest groups behind the horse farm were unknown, if she rushed in, she would die!
Only Leonard could handle it.
As Viola was to call Leonard, Steven snatched her phone away.
"What are you doing?" Viola shouted angrily.
Steven put her mobile phone into his trouser pocket, straightened his skirt, tilted his head to her and gave her a faint smile, "It's no use asking Leonard for help, I can help." "Get out of the way!"
Viola said coldly. She stepped forward to take her phone from his trouser pocket, but he seized her arm, "Viola, if you want to revenge the Sutton family, you must be invincible in the Shaws Group. Sucy temporarily will be all right, while the other party is very likely to target at you. If you think I am useless when we are in the horse farm, it will not be late to contact Leonard."
He was right. Leonard could not stand her mistake, if she once showed weakness, she would be dismissed and her painstaking efforts for three years would be in vain.
Seeing that his was sincere, inexplicably she trusted him.
It was a gamble and she could not lose!
Viola gnashed her teeth. "Well, I'll trust you once!"
Steven smiled at her, took out his phone and sent a message, and then drove with her to the horse farm.
Jordan waited at the horse farm for a long time.
Steven led her into the casino and naturally took her hand, clasping her fingers, as if he had practiced the gesture thousands of times in his mind. His palm was big, dry and warm. Viola inexplicably felt much
secure.
Jordan stopped the waiter. "I want to see your boss."
After looking at Steven and Viola up and down, the waiter made sure that they were not regular customers. He put on a polite smile and said, "Sorry, my boss is not here today."
"For the last time, get your boss here!" Jordan lit a cigarette and looked coldly at the short waiter through the smoke.
Jordan was a big, tough man who spoke in a loud voice. For a while, many people at the table looked at him.
Viola sighed in her heart, regretting that she had believed Steven. She was about to get up, but Steven grabbed her.
"Don't worry," Steven whispered softly as he pushed her back into her chair. "Sometimes violence is the quickest way to get results."
"I didn't think you had villain potential." Viola gave cold hum, though she did not deny his words.
The waiter kept smiling, suppressing his fear of Jordan, and his teeth chattered, "Sir, our boss is indeed absent. If you have any needs, please feel free to tell..."
"I'm sick and tired of you blind people."
Jordan sneered, grabbed a bottle on the table and smashed it to the ground with a bang. Then he flicked the ash of the cigarette gently. The sparks were stained with alcohol and burst into flames about waist- high!
People stampeded as frightened chickened. Jordan jumped over the flames and kicked the waiter, "If you don't call your boss here, I'll blow your head off!"
Facing Jordan's fiercness, the waiter reached his limit. "Sir..."
Before he had finished speaking, footsteps were heard down the dark path leading to the auction house.
Viola looked back at the sound, a stocky man came out surrounded by a group of people, it was Patrick, the owner of the horse farm!
