Chapter 20 Do I still have a son?
Two years ago, when she was still with Wesley, she accompanied him to a reception because of business affairs, and met the woman there. She was with a blond man at the time and they kissed heartedly. Harriet saw Wesley's eyes staying on women for a long time. She curiously asked him for the woman but Wesley just looked away. She did not expect that they were unmarried couples.
"Harriet, are you okay?" Seeing Harriet's fascination on her phone screen, Colin asked, "What did you get?"
"It was just a piece of news." Harriet smiled and put away the phone.
And Colin glanced at her and was about to say something. Harriet said, "Colin, you can just say it frankly if you want to know something."
"It's not a big deal." Colin no longer concealed and said, "A man came to me this afternoon and said a lot of strange things."
Harriet frowned.
No one knew about her house in the western suburbs, except for Wesley.
"Is that the one who wore glasses last time?"
"No." Colin shook his head, struggling to recall, "He was also a secretary or the like. He said he was father's special assistant, and would like me to meet dad."
"He must be a liar." Harriet's eyes narrowed. "When you weren't born, mom divorced that man. It's been many years, and who will remember the past."
Colin nodded in accord. "And even if it is true, I will ignore it. I only have mom and you as my family. Our dad was already dead before I was born!"
Harriet smiled and urged him eating the food, "Okay, don't mind. I'll call security tomorrow. The man can't disturb us later."
When her mom divorced with their dad and raised them by herself, Harriet vowed that she would not agree if the man returned to confess their relationship.
And she had a lot of money now, enough for them to live a wealthy life.
"I agree!"
...
Daniel White was refused by Colin. He would still like to stay for a while but was ruthlessly driven out by the security. He had to get back to Allen and thought the boy was such violent that he didn't let him finish his words.
He complained about him in his heart when Allen called in.
"Allen, I'm going to report for you." Daniel quickly answered, "but I was kicked out before I finished my words."
The person on the other side of phone was very frustrated, "Did she want to get rid of her father?"
"Allen, it wasn't the young lady who drove me out, it was a boy." And Daniel was ruthlessly blasted out before he said the name of their father. He thought about the boy's appearance, he hesitated, "The boy looks... like you."
"What?"
"I asked the property worker and found that the boy is the brother of the young lady." Daniel glanced at the files on the copilot. "From the age and appearance, Allen ..."
"I, I have a son?" Allen was very excited, he always thought there was only a daughter, "Hurry up and bring the information to me!"
"Allen, I'll be there soon."
"Quickly!"
After hanging up the phone, the excitement of the middle-aged man standing by the window had not subsided. His eyes were full of urgency. He could not wait to check the information that Daniel got. When he was young, his prioritized his career. After his career took off, he felt sorry for his ex-wife and daughter. He kept looking for the whereabouts of his ex-wife in recent years,
But she just moved constantly and he failed to find her for a long time. He almost gave up. Daniel suddenly had found a clue in his ex-wife's former residence two month ago!
"I have not only a daughter, but also a son..." General Allen muttered. Thinking that for the past ten years his ex-wife had brought up two children by herself, he felt infinite guilty.
He must ask for the details when Daniel White arrived and went to see the two kids!
"Honey, have you finished your work?" The study door was pushed open. A woman in her forties came in, dressed appropriately, with a faint smile on her face. "Louisa and Wesley have come over for dinner."
"It's done." Allen Jones put his mobile phone on the desk. He looked at his current elegant and gentle wife who educated their daughter and managed the house for him. He knew it was a hard job.
The man moved his lips, but he finally kept those words in his heart. The wife just smiled and took his arm out of the study.
When going out, the woman turned her head and looked at the desk with her gloomy eys.
