Daddy James

Chapter 2 : The Counterfeiters

Sarah didn't really know why James didn't answer when that night's issue would have been his favorite topic to discuss? She tried to analyse his emotionless face while driving back her spectacles to her nose bridge.

His hands held the steering wheel firmly as his sight was fortified on the busy road, Sarah used the opportunity to study him while he was busy enjoying his Lamborghini.

He used to perfectly shave his facial hair when Sarah met him six months back. That time also he looked damn hot but this time it was even better with that sexy stubble.

His stubble was setting Sarah's skin ablaze, her suppressed devilish side just wanted to jump on him and claim that pair of rough lips in a never ending passionate kiss but she couldn't, just couldn't.

She swallowed, gulping all her sinful thoughts under the throat while rubbing her arm as she strived hard getting rid of those pimples, damn goosebumps!

"If you are done raping me with your eyes can you please tell me what's his name?" He asked in a deep tone which probably ran under Sarah's skin giving her chills, his voice could be only better described as Bedroom sexy.

Sarah's pulse paused as she rushed her gaze down to her plumps. Heat erupting inside her was causing her skin to look blushing pink and the most nerve-racking for her was the thought that he knew she was lusting over him.

Answering his query was the only option left with Sarah as not doing that would've definitely confirmed his damn allegation.

"Daniel, Daniel Whilkes." She let out raising her chin up trying hard to fake confidence.

James controlled his laugh on the thought of Daniel licking his balls few hours ago in his cabin and literally begging him on his knees.

James was confident Daniel would break Sarah's heart into pieces and she will have nobody but him to pick those pieces for her up.

"I am really anxious to meet him, tonight." James said leaving no clue for Sarah to guess that he already had a meeting with Daniel, an amazing meeting.

Trying to figure out what Sarah's condition would be when Daniel will break his relations with her made James pity her.

He just kept on grinning with all those thoughts playing in his mind while Sarah got confused with amusing scene of the infamous James Anderson grinning without any reason. Sarah hunted earphones and her phone. She just wanted to avoid any further conversations with her snoopy step father.

He passed a chuckle looking at Sarah inserting earplugs in her ears,"My car does play music!" He said.

Sarah let out a deep sigh signalling James to buzz off, "I have my own playlist, If you don't mind." She snarled at him while he narrowed his eyes staring at her in a sensual way. "Woah! Don't insult the car. It also supports Aux! Only if you don't mind letting me enjoy your playlist."He softened his looks passing a sly smirk as he caught Sarah off guard.

He really was capable of giving the wittiest person on the planet a big run for his money.

Sarah trembled till her arterioles and venules thinking she will have to listen the songs with James. Knowing very well what kind of songs she had in her playlist, Sarah dreaded to even tell the names

nes.

"Leave it! I don't wanna listen, battery is low, damn phones, you know?" She patted herself inwardly boasting about her intelligence to herself.

James caught Sarah's attempt to get rid of the idea but he was surely to prove who's the dad?, "Don't worry darling. I have the charger in here.." he trailed off getting a black look from Sarah.

"Will you please stop jumping in my pockets?" She snarled like a true tigress.

"Sorry dear, but I wouldn't fit in them." He tried to keep his firm looks but bursted into a booming laugh, failing miserably.

She noticed his laugh being the most weird kind of laugh, especially for a man soon going to celebrate his 30th Birthday.

Sarah tried figuring out where she had heard the similar kind of laugh. She remembered it was the laugh of that mannerless two year old, Lucy's younger brother.

She remembered how he came to visit Lucy and laughed hysterically when she tickled him. Poor kid must have felt like killing his sister when she continuously tickled him or at least Sarah thinks of killing when someone tickles her as non stop laughing causes her breath like an Asthma patient.

Sarah inserted the earplugs avoiding him completely, As she enjoyed the skyscrapers of Austin from the window.

The journey had suddenly turned into a painfully prolonged one for her.

James furtively looked at the home screen of his iPhone, there was couple of missed calls from Judy and the reason was in her text message stating, "Daniel Whilkes is not agreeing to the deal!"

James didn't want the things to slip out of his hands at the last moments, He thought threatening that bloody school going kid of sending him to prison was enough to get his ass on the stove but the guy was a sure bastard.

James stole a glance at the watch strapped on Sarah's hand which rested on her lap while she enjoyed the outside view. James just had four hours left with him to get back Daniel on his knees and make him do what he had planned for the night's dinner.

He tapped his fingers the phone responding to Judy's text, "Get his ass back on the deal asap, otherwise, I'll cancel your increment straight away!"

James tapped his finger on the 'send' option praying under his breath for everything to go as smooth as he expected it to be.

Busy in texting, James didn't notice how many traffic rules he breached and Sarah's eyes widened as she could see death rushing towards them. "James, pull over!! Push the brakes, the brakes!" Sarah yelled.

A heavy lorry was about to clash with the car when James pushed the brakes commanding the car to freeze.

The vehicle paused obeying the commands just in time as loud screeches caused other vehicles to stop in their ways.

"Oww! Oww!" Sarah yelled in pain as she raised her head from the dashboard rubbing the forehead constantly, "Texting while driving can be fatal, damn it!" She screamed reminding him the traffic rules as James again ignited the engine and pulled the steering at his left making Sarah fall on his shoulder, The loud screeches faded and the car vanished in thin air as soon as the cops reached the scene. "Are you alright?"James inquired noticing a red mark on Sarah's left side of forehead as she raked fingers through her hair striving to hide the bruise with her hair.

This thirty minutes drive was the worst journey of Sarah's life. She sat as a statue thinking what her plans were about bringing James on his knees and how her confidence and thinking power reduced to zero as soon as James came into her sight.

She tried to get back her calm composure and promised to herself to not to let herself deviate from her plans against him.

Sarah smirked inwardly thinking how the next day would be James' last day of getting all the attention he had been enjoying since last five years.

She swore at the time of James's marriage with her mother to kick his ass out snatching her Dad's position from him one day and finally the day was here, very close.

The car horned on the gate of the Mansion as the name plate stating 'Anderson's Mansion' reminded Sarah of how much she cried when Jenna replaced 'Mount's Villa' with it.

But this time Andersons' game was close to end as Sarah promised to Lucy to chuck James and his daughter, Serena out of the house before she weds Daniel.

Serena was a cute girl but Sarah just didn't like her most probably James was the reason for that too. The reasons of her hatred for James were unknown to Sarah herself but she just couldn't bear seeing him enjoying her dad's position and she wanted him out of their lives.

"We're at home, sweetie." James whistled trying to caress Sarah's cheek seductively but she just slid out of the car in a short moment.

He passed a slight chuckle on her immature behaviour but it was her immaturity which always drove him crazy. He simply loved rubbing her the wrong side.

James observed her busy chattering with the butler, Joseph as he pulled out the heavy suitcase from the trunk of the car, James fetched the opportunity to dial up Judy. She answered the call after couple of rings,"Has that bastard agreed?" James inquired, anxious to know.

"Yes he has...But!" Judy's distorted voice uttered, irritating James some more. He simply hated suspenseful talks of women. Why the hell women like to dramatise each and every moment of life? He wondered "But what, Judy?" He demanded an answer.

"For a million of Dollars!" She uttered as quick as she could while James tried to absorb Judy's words.

He let out a deep sigh rubbing his hand against his stubble, "I give a damn about money just tell him the deal is on." He said as the price for his failed plans would've surely been more than a million Dollars. "Okay Sir." Judy muttered and hung the call while James strived to spot Sarah but she was no where to be seen. He slid out of the car and shut the door throwing the keys to one of the chauffeurs. He signalled him to the park the car as he rushed to enter the mansion.

Sarah entered the mansion and wasn't surprised at all to see the same interior decor, same old red and grey combination of silk and chiffon curtains covering the high arched windows, the antique paintings, flower vases, old wood furniture and the red carpet on stairs was same as well.

The huge hall of the house was always filled with a bloody red shade.

Everything completely changed the joy, relations and talks except the building. Building was the same of Mount's Villa but all the surroundings changed drastically.

Mount's Villa was a home for Sarah, her piece of paradise but it didn't take much time for it to change in piece of hell for Sarah.

It was no more the place which soothed Sarah but a place which made Sarah to cringe in pain.

Sarah rubbed her hands on her dark blue jeans getting rid of the sweat and paced across the hallway leading to the broad kitchen of the house, she spotted her mom, Jenna sitting at the little bar where her father always used to have wine.

Sarah's eyes again deceived her and filled themselves with salty liquid looking at Jenna downing the glass of wine unaware of the happenings around.

The wine glass slipped out of Jenna's hands and broke to tiny pieces as soon as it clashed with the milky tiled floor,"Joseph clean this mess right now!"Jenna yelled as Joseph came running down from the stairs dumping Sarah's suitcase in her room.

Jenna stood up wiping her hands with a tissue and then dumped it in the metallic silver bin.

She was surprised to see Sarah standing ten feet away from her,"Sarah my darling. Come, come sweetheart."She said raising her arms in air as she called Sarah in for a hug.

"What's this rubbish, Jenna."Jenna's smile faded as she heard the high pitched voice of Sarah. It was getting the routine now, whenever Sarah came over for the vacations Jenna welcomed her with love but Sarah always insulted her.

Sarah never thought of her as a mother.Business and money always topped Jenna's priority list and this didn't let Sarah and her elder brother, John to have any kind of attachments with their mom. Affection wasn't there but now slight hatred was building in Jenna's kids for her. Jenna's life always had been a piece of shit but she didn't care about it most of the time.

Jenna never was an emotional fool. She had her own friends and a social life which she didn't want to sacrifice at any cost. Her kitty parties always kept her happy and her best friend, Emily was her only need. "I am reminding you one last time Sarah I am your mother."Jenna snarled at Sarah losing the hopes of greeting her with a hug and a peck on her cheek.

Sarah didn't want to ruin things as Daniel was coming over for dinner to meet Jenna hence she tried controlling the situation,"Whom are you trying to fool, Jenna?" Sarah said firmly, "You have been pretending to be our mom all these years just to milk our fucking property."Sarah hissed a whisper out not letting anyone to listen except Jenna.

Knowing very well where Sarah was coming from Jenna felt it better to drop the topic, "Forget everything darling, lets celebrate your birthday."She said as Sarah smirked trying to figure out how her mom changed colors in a moment for the sake of damned money,"I was hurt when you refused for a party."Jenna added acting innocent and sad. Jenna didn't want to repeat the past and not in front of Sarah specially.

"I know today is my eighteenth birthday, Jenna. And I also know you've been dreading this day since last ten years."Sarah let out firmly knowing very well what impact her talks were having on her mother. Sarah felt happy as she had entered phase one of her plot successfully while witnessing the duo's spat James rejoiced the grand beginning of his plans inwardly. He stood there on the entrance with his hands in side pockets of his trousers, "Not many know the rules to win a game!"He said under the breath.☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
