He pulled open the curtain, and the sun burnt my skin. I groaned, rolling off the bed; I hid from the sun. He shut the curtain after proving his point.

I watched him walk away. I couldn't leave this place; the sun had become my very own enemy. Despite everything, I had not a single regret; my time with her was worth it in every sense of the word.
