Chapter 9 She Is Not A Human Being
One of Hogan's men spotted Albert. He tugged at Hogan who was drinking and said, "Boss, isn't this the guy last night?"
Hearing this, Hogan immediately looked up and found that it was really Albert.
He slammed the glass in his hand. "Hey! It's really that guy!
"
She was hurt badly yesterday. They didn't expect that she could go to school today.
Thinking of what Jason said last night, Hogan was in a dilemma.
These people were all good friends with Hogan, so they naturally knew what Jason had told Hogan to do.
"Boss, since we meet here, should we..."
Hogan was still a little hesitant. Although he was a member of the underworld, he was just a punk.
If they did it well, they could really get a lot of money from Jason.
But if they screwed it up or leaked the information, Jason might not protect them.
He knew better than anyone about the tricks of the rich.
One of the men said, "Boss, I've heard that the boy's parents have died and he is now fostered in his aunt's house. His aunt really wants to drive him out. If he is killed, I don't think his aunt will make a scene, right?"
Hogan clenched his glass.
Although they didn't know why Jason insisted on killing Albert, Jason's identity is not something that they could play up to.
The Rong family in J City.
He inadvertently heard Jason mention it.
It was the branch of the Rong family, one of the three biggest families in the Imperial City.
If they could help Jason get what he wanted, they might be able to take advantage of the Rong family in the future. By then, their prospect would be beyond measure.
There was a greedy light in Hogan's eyes. He drank the wine in the glass in one breath and gritted his teeth. "Let's go!
He was just a poor boy who had no parents. Even if he was killed, there wouldn't be any trouble."
Walking to the dark place, Albert inadvertently glanced back.
The group of people were about to make a move.
Albert stared at the dark alley ahead.
It was dark and windy at night. It was really a good time to commit a crime.
Albert was blocked in an alley. Several pairs of wild mandarin ducks were frightened to run away when they heard the noise here.
A black dog barked at them and was also driven away by Hogan throwing stones.
With her schoolbag on her back, Albert had a handsome face with a bit of childishness, as if she was a student who had just come back from school and was blocked on the way, but there was no trace of panic on her face.
Hogan stared at her. It was indeed Albert. But after only one night, she seemed to be a little different.
She was so scared yesterday that she almost pissed her pants. Now she stood in front of them calmly and wasn't afraid at all. 'Was he dumb because of the hit?'
A fierce light flashed through Hogan's eyes.
It was not okay to be beaten silly. What Jason wanted was her life.
"Boy, it seems that I was too gentle last night." Hogan patted the stick in his hand and said arrogantly.
Albert looked around as if she was looking for a way out.
Hogan raised his chin and snorted, "I let you go last night. But it won't be so easy for you this time."
A cold voice said.
"Will anyone come here?"
She had specially found the deepest and darkest alley for them.
Hogan sneered, "What's wrong? Are you still expecting someone to save you?"
Albert didn't say anything or do anything, just like a prey to be slaughtered.
Hogan winked at his men behind him, and they immediately rushed to Albert and blocked all her exits. Hogan stepped forward, slightly clenched the stick in his hand, and tried to hit Albert on her abdomen.
A slender hand grabbed the stick effortlessly and twisted it under Hogan's astonished gaze.
With a click, the stick, which was as thick as an arm, was broken in this way.
Everyone was frightened by what Albert did.
Hogan reacted quickly and waved his fist towards Albert's face.
Fighting was heard continuously in the alley, mixed with all kinds of wails and screams, and people who passed by did not dare to enter. Rubbing her aching wrist, Albert was still stepping on Hogan. As for the others, they had already been beaten by her and could not get up. Hogan looked at the teenager in front of him in horror.
She was still weak last night, but today she defeated them all on her own.
She was not a human!
Looking at Hogan's face, Albert thought of the miserable death of the teenage Albert last night. She stepped harder on the hand bone of Hogan and broke it directly. "Ah!" Hogan screamed loudly. The pain from his hand made him tremble all over.
"You ...please let me go. I won't hurt you again..."
"Let you go?" Albert bent down slightly and stared at his face which was distorted because of fear. She said word by word, "Have you ever thought of letting me go?"
Hogan was so scared that he wanted to retreat and stay away from the devil, but his hand was trampled hard by her. Unless he didn't want his hand anymore, he could only bear it.
"I... I was also under orders... I didn't mean to hurt you..."
With her eyes half closed, Albert stepped fiercely and asked, "Who is it?"
Hogan cried out again and said a name intermittently.
"Jason?" Her thin lips lightly opened, Albert muttered.
The name sounded familiar.
Several years ago, when grandpa was still there. As the young master of the Rong family, she was the second to her grandpa in the family. At her grandfather's birthday party, the Rong family in J City brought a child to her. His name seemed to be Jason.
For some unimportant people, Albert would never bother to remember, so now she only had a vague impression of him.
So the Jason what Hogan mentioned, was he from the Rong family in J City?
"Mr. Jason gave me one million for taking your life... It's all Mr. Jason's orders. It has nothing to do with us..."
The teenage Albert was the illegitimate child of James, who was Jason's uncle. And this was what the little Albert had in her memory.
But the little Albert never came back to the Rong family. It could be said that the Rong family didn't know her existence at all. How could Jason come to her? And ask Hogan to kill her?
"Why did he ask you to kill me?"
Hogan said in a trembling voice, "I... I don't know either. I just heard him mention something about the Rong family in J City, the illegitimate child and the young master. We don't know anything else..." Staring at Hogan's face, Albert didn't think he was as arrogant as before. Just like a drowning dog, he would sell his master out in a single beat.☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
