Chapter 33 My Name Is Charles
After a pause, Albert sat next to him, but still kept a distance from him.
Seeing that she was on guard against himself, Charles didn't continue to "push his luck".
If he wanted to find out what he craved from her, he had to pull her to his side step by step, until she put down her guard against him.
If he tried to force her, Albert would probably be more stubborn than him.
Albert found the medicine skillfully and took out a cotton swab. Then she pressed the swab on his wound in a not so gentle way.
When cleaning the wound with the alcohol, there would be a little sting. At the same time, Charles's hand trembled to show his dissatisfaction with her rudeness. Albert couldn't help but take a look at him.
Although she did this harder on purpose, it didn't hurt that much.
He had survived such a serious injury that night. How could he not bear such a small pain?
When Charles saw her looking at himself, a smile appeared on his face, as if he was extremely comfortable. He said gently, "You can go on."
Now that Charles said so, Albert was embarrassed to play tricks on him again.
The next step was to clean and apply medicine. Afraid that the medicine would evaporate, Albert put two more band aids on the back of his hand. Staring at his hand, Charles suddenly felt so stupid.
The two sat side by side. She lowered her head slightly, and her body was still wet with the smell of lime. Strangely, Charles found that the guy next to him seemed to be quite pleasing to his eyes.
"All right." After packing up her things, Albert stood up and said, "Those blood marks are not deep. Don't get wet these days. If you are still worried, you can go to the hospital by yourself."
Charles looked at it again and again, not sure whether he was satisfied or not.
"Then...if the band aids worn out, can I come to you again?"
Albert wanted to refuse, but when she saw the innocent face of Charles which was a little aggrieved and cute, she didn't know how to answer him. Even though she knew that he was acting, she still swallowed back her refusal.
"As you like," said Albert coldly.
With a successful smile, Charles turned his eyes slightly and saw Simba who had been vigilantly staring at him.
Simba sat on the sofa, with its small body straight and in a state of vigilance. It seemed that as long as it found that he had hurt Albert, it was ready to attack him at any time.
Charles stretched out his hand and grabbed Simba almost effortlessly. Simba meowed sharply, still couldn't get rid of him.
When Albert turned around, she saw that Charles was gently touching Simba's back and smiling at her.
"Your cat is quite cute."
Simba shivered in his hangs and could only cry to Albert for help.
This time, Albert didn't go forward and save Simba.
Although Charles was unfathomable, it was impossible for him to hurt a cat.
It was time to teach Simba a lesson. It had been out for a few days.
Receiving the signal from Albert, Simba felt like weeping but had no tears.
'Oh my God! I'm going to be out of favor...'
But Simba didn't know yet. It was just a beginning. The way of its master spoiling her husband was so hateful that even the cat was furious!
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. After thinking for a while, Albert knew that it was Rena.
She looked back at Charles. Charles was a little unhappy, but he still stood up.
Albert had thought that Charles would be sensible and go back, but she didn't expect him to go straight to the bedroom.
Even if Albert wanted to stop him, she couldn't.
Rena rang the doorbell for a while before Albert opened the door.
Seeing the familiar handsome face, Rena finally breathed a sigh of relief and smiled, "What took you so long? I thought I got the wrong room. The only person who knew her room number was Rena, so Albert could guess that it was her outside.
"I was taking a shower just now, so I didn't hear you."
There was no superfluous expression on Albert's face. Maybe she didn't notice that her mood fluctuated a little when she faced with Charles. Rena could see that her hair was still wet, so she didn't doubt it and followed her in.
"Wow, I didn't expect your room to be so beautiful." Rena looked around with her bright eyes and then looked at the elosed door. Out of politeness, she asked, "Can I go in and have a look?" ,
Thinking of Charles who was hiding inside, Albert coughed and said in a low and hoarse voice, "Sorry, it's not so convenient."
Rena nodded. She blushed as if she thought of something.
Albert poured her a glass of water and said, "The competition will start tomorrow, right? What can I do for you?"
"It's almost lunch time. I think you
haven't had lunch yet. Would you like
to have lunch with me? I know a
super delicious Western restaurant nearby. I'll take you there!"
After thinking for a while, Albert shook her head and said, "Sorry, I have something to do. You can go by yourself."
Rena couldn't hide her disappointment, but she still said, "Do you want me to buy you something to eat?"
"No, thanks." Albert refused directly.
"Okay." Rena was a little depressed and left without staying any longer.
turned her head and saw that Charles was leaning against the

door of the room, smiling at her with Simba trembling in his arms.
"
"Not so convenient? Huh?
Albert didn't want to talk to Charles. Although she didn't want to be his enemy, she thought it was better to stay away from such a dangerous person. "Is that girl your girlfriend?"
Albert was going to keep silent. But she knew that Charles wouldn't give her the chance.
He had seen her behave intimately with Rena several times before. Didn't the students study hard but think about hanging out every day?
"No." Albert answered simply, with a note of warning in her voice, "So, don't disturb her."
Rena and Rick were the only two people who treated her well after her rebirth.
Although their friendship was not so close, Albert cherished them too. She didn't want them to get hurt because of her.
The following words made the smile on Charles's face freeze.
Simba, who was closest to him, could feel the coldness from him, and its little body trembled constantly.
Charles's eyes were cold and his surroundings seemed to be covered with a thin layer of ice.
'Don't disturb her?
Why do you care about that girl so much?
You are my own prey. It's not good to care about others so much.'
Just for a moment, Charles didn't even let Albert notice his mood swings. Out of kindness, he released Simba, and the poor Simba immediately ran back to Albert.
"Since you have something else to do, I'll go back first."
With a faint and lazy smile on his side face, Charles waved the back of his hand, took two steps and stopped.
"By the way, my name is Charles Gu. "00000☐☐☐☐☐☐
