Claimed by the Alpha Luna’s Awakening by Misha k Chapter 32

Chapter 32

Alpha Theo’s eyes were on the panties that she had clutched in her hand. Carmine gasped. “Alpha Theo, where’s Thor?”

He ignored her question, bent over her and yanked several hangers of lacy panties and thongs and bras.

“What are you up to?” Blushing like a beetroot, she asked while glancing at the saleswoman behind him, who was now grinning.

“She will take these,” he said as he pushed them into the saleswoman’s hand.

Carmine’s mouth dropped to the floor when she saw the panties and bras he had given to the saleswoman. They were lacy and left little to the imagination. Hot pink, red, black and beige. Then he grabbed a pair of peach bikinis. Giving them to her, he said, “These as well.”

“I won’t buy those,” Carmine squeaked as she ran after him to the register.

Giving her a wicked smile, the woman winked. “You must accept them. It’s not like. Alpha Theo comes here every day and buys panties.”

Her statement made Carmine even more uncomfortable. “Alpha Theo, I won’t-”

“Shut up,” he hissed as he passed his card to her.

“If you think I will let you buy panties-” He curled his around my n*eck and slapped my mouth with his hand as he passed his card to the woman across the counter.

The woman giggled and started entering the codes in the computer.

Carmine tried to struggle in his arms, but he curled another one around her waist and pinned her to his chest. And then she felt his hard erection pressing at her back. It was so hot that it seeped through her b*dy, awakening forbidden desires. “Carmine,” he said, leaning over her ear. “Seeing you buying panties is torturous. I hope you can feel my hardness. The only way to get you out of that section was to swiftly purchase your underwear and get out without making a mess of myself right over here.”

This was the first time he talked d*rty with her and if she said that she wasn’t turned on physically or turned on everywhere else, it would be a lie. She stopped struggling, and he released her mouth, but didn’t release her stomach. Her back was flushed against his chest and she stifled a gasp when his man part pulsed. Her b*dy reacted against her wishes as she got hit with a strong arousal.

Theo’s nostrils flared when he smelled her arousal in the air. He glanced at the saleswoman across the counter. She was still entering the codes. He took the chance and

k*ssed Carmine’s n*eck, grazing his fangs on her pulse point, making his point very clear. She almost yelped. “This is very reckless of you,” she said weakly.

“How come? I came all the way with you to shop. It’s not me who is reckless. I am the responsible one here. Besides, you are aroused. By me.”

“You bought panties for me,” she rasped, blushing again.

“And a bikini,” he added with a smirk. “You need a break, else you will shout at me.”

The saleswoman giggled. “She is moody. Are your heats nearing?”

Alpha Theo stilled. “Heats?” He sniffed the air around her and she smacked his arm.

“Stop it!”

When he chuckled, she melted. “I have spent all the money I had. I am hungry and i don’t know whether to thank you or not.”

“You don’t have to thank me,” he said, taking the shopping bag from the saleswoman. “All you have to do is wear them and think of me.”

“Goddess, I’ll never wear them!”

“You’re welcome, Cari.” And just like that, he gave her a nickname.

He guided her to where Thor was. He was playing with three omegas who were also saleswomen in the mall. They bowed to him with a smile.

“There’s one more place where I want to take you,” he said as he picked up Thor and held my hand to guide us out.

Carmine sighed. “I want to eat something first.”

“My baby…” He pressed a tender k*ss to her temple and Carmine didn’t back out because she felt like this was so… normal. He stopped at a small burger joint, gave it to her and chicken loll*pops to Thor before going to where he wanted to..

“I already have a phone!” Carmine screeched. “I don’t need a new one.”

Thor giggled as he sat on the counter, watching his mom and Theo. “That is an ancient phone, mommy,” he pointed out to the one she was holding high in the air.

“See, even the pup knows about it,” Theo argued.

A short man with sharp green eyes and dark hair that stood like sp ik es came from inside the shop. “Alpha Theo!” He bowed. “I have it ready,” he said, opening a box, revealing a brand new phone. “I have also entered all the phone numbers you wanted,

updated it with the latest software and filled in the warranty.”

“I-I can’t accept such an expensive phone,” Carmine breathed, looking at it with wide

eyes. She had seen the iPhones and they cost a fortune. Sᴇaʀch Thᴇ FindNøvᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

“Consider it as a loan,” Theo said with an exasperated voice.

“Then let me pay you!” she insisted.

“You can give your old phone to Niri as partial payment,” Theo suggested.

Niri blinked once, twice as a blank expression covered his face. “But you’ve-”

“Great!” Carmine grinned. “Please take this one in exchange. I will pay the rest in installments.”

“I said this is on loan,” Theo interjected. “That means that once you don’t need it, you can give it back to me.” Well, he was going to upgrade her phone after that. It was a different story, though.

“Okay,” she replied with the grin intact on her face. “Thank you!”

“Cool!”

That night when they returned home, Scarlet was nowhere to be seen. An omega. informed them she had taken two-days leave.

After dinner, Theo ensured he tucked Carmine and Thor in the bed before he left for the meeting.

All his warriors were already sitting there. Tusker, his head warrior, said, “We have done as you asked, Alpha Theo, but do you think it will work?”

Theo swiveled lazily on his chair. “It will. Where are they positioned, and how long before they attack?”

“Barry, the Chief Tracker, sent me a message an hour back.” He fished his phone out. and opened the message for him. “He smelled them. They are about a mile away.”

“Nice,” Theo chuckled. He had done his work beautifully.

Kade had sent him a message a day back, reminding him of the initiation ceremony on the weekend. The problem was that he didn’t want Carmine to attend the initiation. ceremony so soon. He had sent his spies to know why was Kade so restless about it. Since the spies hadn’t come back with any information and even Carmine was reluctant to answer, he did what a wolf could do.

He hired a pack of killer wolves who called themselves Illuminati and asked them to

“Are you sure this is the right thing to do?” Morgan, his pack’s lawyer, asked. “We could get into a lot of trouble with the pack’s council if they came to know about it.”

“One condition of my deal is that I will deny that I know the Illuminati if anything.

untoward happens,” Theo replied with a shrug

Morgan’s l*ps curled up. His Alpha was shrewd like a chess grandmaster, calculating his moves on a board.

“Did you find out about the hunters who attacked Carmine?” Theo shot his next question to Winn.

“We talked to the authorities, but they are pretty tight-l*pped about it. I wonder why…” He paused. “However, there’s another issue that has come up.” He looked at Eddie, their financial head.

Eddie shook his head. “Someone has siphoned funds to the tune of eighty thousand dollars off from our company to goddess knows where. We are trying to find the trail.”

His eyebrow raised. Though eighty thousand wasn’t much of an amount, but it was a red flag. “Find out about it.” He rose to his feet and was about to leave when he turned sharply and said, “See if there’s a connection between the hunters and the eighty- thousand dollars?”

Scarlet looked at the five-hundred steps that winded all the way to the top of the hill where the witch lived and cursed under her breath. From the base of the hill, her cottage looked tiny. With a deep breath, she started climbing them.
