Claimed by the Alpha Luna’s Awakening by Misha k Chapter 29
Chapter 29
Scarlet had seen Alpha Theo in an angry mood carlier. But if she thought he was angry before, it was nothing compared to the anger that brewed now. It was palpable, thickening in the air like a storm that was about to build in a rage.
“Scarlet.” He spat the word from his mouth like it was a curse, like it was something to detest. “You have the gall to accuse Carmine? The lamp that you are holding in your hand-did you even look at it?”
Scarlet stopped to gape at him. Slowly, her eyes went to the lamp she was holding.
“That’s a porcelain touch lamp!” Theo’s voice boomed in the hall. “And it is f ucking expensive, modern, and very tasteful. It is new in the market. Heck, it is new in the
human world, and you say that it is cheap in qualituan
Scarlet was dumbfounded. She couldn’t utter a word for a moment as she froze. Every other omega in the hall cowered like a mouse. Alpha’s wrath left them feeling completely powerless, as if it crushed their mind beyond control. The sheer force of his wrath caused some of them to whimper and collapse to their knees.
Scarlet couldn’t believe it. She had seen Carmine selecting cheap wicker lamps that would never last long amongst the werewolves. Not only that, she,saw Carmine selecting the cheap water filters and very light rugs.
Upon their return, she had contacted Tony and directed him to send items cheaper than what Carmine had selected. Then how was it possible that quality stuff arrived? Maybe the lamp was an exception. “Alpha!” she cried as she sat on the floor. Tears burst. into her eyes. “I am highly mistaken.” She crawled towards the next box. “But let me show you the next item. With my own eyes, I observed Carmine picking awful things.” She ripped off the tape of the box and pulled another item out. It was a water filter that met high standards.
Disbelief exploded in her chest. If the remaining items were like this, she would lose her respect akin to a withering oak tree. In her frenzy, she opened up box after box, yet every single item inside was of class and quality.
Her legs wobbled as she rose, her l*ps trembling in response. Her eyes went to Charlie, who hid behind another omega, and then to Tony, who was looking at her with a bemused expression. She strode to him. “You were with Carmine. Tell Alpha what she had selected! Did you change all the items she had purchased? What is going on?” She yelled while grabbing his collar.
Tony clenched his teeth and removed her hands from his shirt. “Miss Scarlet, after you left, Miss Carmine ordered these goods. All the items you are seeing here were the original ones that were ordered. I don’t understand what you are trying to prove.” He

looked at Carmine, who appeared quiet.
Alpha Theo’s anger intensified. Scarlet could sense his alpha protection mode for his mate kicking in. She flinched. The only option left was to beg for forgiveness. “Carmine, I-”
“It’s fine, Scarlet,” Carmine cut her off. “I gave you the opportunity to select items. alongside me, but you critiqued my choices and predict their fragility. I ordered after you left.” She looked at Tony. “Isn’t it?”
At the shop, Carmine was picking up random items to check them, but when Scarlet started criticizing everything she picked up, she started picking up goods only to understand Scarlet’s plan. It was as if Scarlet was dying to tell the world that Carmine was treating the omegas like lowly wolves. As soon as she left, Carmine gave the right orders to Tony.
“Yes, Miss Carmine’s eyes were always on the best goods on the shelves,” Tony agreed.
Theo shot a glare at Scarlet. He was so pis sed by the whole incident that he wanted to rip her throat. He snarled, “I never expected that you would disrespect Carmine to the extent that you would try to ruin her reputation!”
“Alpha Theo, pl-please. I didn’t mean to-” She clasped her hands and started wailing.” As usual, I wanted the best for the omegas. I always think of the serv ants that serve you.” Saying that, at least the omegas were going to be on her side.
“Scar,” Carmine said in a soft voice. “How could you think I will be against the very people who serve Alpha Theo so beautifully? Their benefit is all I desire. I’m sorry if you interpreted it differently.
Scarlet clenched her teeth. Carmine turned the situation in her favor. She couldn’t even say anything about the billing because all the extra money went into her pocket. At that moment, she simply wished Tony would stay silent. She would return his money first in the morning. “I am so sorry, Carmine. Please, I know I don’t deserve your mercy, but please forgive me this time,” she cried.
Carmine’s surprise was over the roof. Despite feeling terrible on the inside after Scarlet’s actions, Carmine knew that removing her could cause mistreatment from the omegas. Right now the omegas were looking at her with fear mixed with respect, which was fine, but Carmine wanted to be accepted. It wasn’t necessary because she was going to leave soon, still… “The shopping center had a profound emotional impact on Scarlet, Alpha Theo. Maybe this was her first time shopping? You should show mercy to her.”
“No!” Alpha Theo growled. “There will be no mercy this time.” He shot a glare at every omega out there. “Let this puni shment serve as a lesson to all of you.” His eyes went back to Scarlet. “From now on, you will live in the se rvant qua rte rs. I revoke your privilege to stay in the manor. Repeat this nonsense and you’ll be banished from the

pack or thrown into the dungeons. You understand?”
Scarlet gasped. Her l*ps quivered in complete shock. “A-Alpha?”
“That’s it!” Alpha Theo roared. “Winn!”
Winn came rushing in an instant. He was standing at the door, looking at the drama unfolding. When he looked at Scarlet, he shook his head in pity for her. “Yes Alpha?”
“Make sure that Scarlet is moved out of the manor as soon as possible!” Theo growled the instruction. Then he looked at every omega out there as his fangs lengthened and his claws sl*pped out. He stepped closer to Carmine. “If any of you hurt Carmine or Thor emotionally or physically, I’ll make sure you regret it. You get that?”
Every omega was literally shaking in fear. “Yes Alpha….” they murmured as they glanced. at Carmine.
Scarlet was left in shock, her eyes wide and teary, as Theo held Carmine’s hand and led her upstairs. All the other omegas started leaving and even Charlie went with them. No one had the courage to stand up for Scarlet. However, as they walked out, they looked at her with disgust on their faces..
“Because of her idiotic notions, we’re all seen in the same negative way,” one of them murmured.
“Yeah, she has an inflated ego.”
As soon as Alpha took Carmine upstairs, Tony went out to unload the cargo.
Winn rounded the table and stood in front of her. “Let’s go.”
“But Beta Winn, you know I was thinking about everyone’s benefit, not mine,” she sniffled.
“I don’t care what you think, Scarlet,” Winn shot back. “Alpha Theo has ordered me to take
you to the omega quarters, and that’s what I am doing.” He grabbed her by her forearm and dragged her out of the manor. Scarlet was so numb that she didn’t resist. Her plan was so good that it would have ruined Carmine’s reputation. Instead, her reputation was forever marred. She had dreams of getting close to Alpha Theo, jumping into his bed at one point, but all her dreams fell apart.
Winn dragged her to the omega quarters and left her there. “You’ve overstepped your boundary, Scarlet,” he hissed. “Carmine is Alpha’s mate. How could you accuse your future Luna?” He turned sharply and went.
Scarlet peeled her l*ps at his words, ‘future Luna. “I am the future Luna, you as s. And I am going to bring that cu nt to her knees!”
