Cinderella And Her Beautiful Octuplets

Chapter 217

Chapter 217

"I'm sorry Mr Brandon, we would use the other elevator," they all said at once and were about to leave when Hannah spoke, making them pause.

"It's fine, you can use this one," she said as she and Brandon walked out of the elevator.

Hannah, who was trying to avoid Brandon's gaze, was just about to enter her office when Brandon held her hands.

"Let go of my hands, please. I don't want people saying I'm sleeping with the boss in the company," she said, staring around as she wondered if anyone was watching.

"What are you talking about? I'm your husband and who cares about what people say" Brandon said as she caressed her hands.

"Well I do, I care," she said as she pulled her hands away from his and walked inside her office.

The moment she got inside her office. She placed her hands on her chest and heaved a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, Brandon on the other hand had this smile on her face the moment Hannah had entered her office.

He walked towards his office, still smiling to himself.

The moment he entered his office, he met Liam arranging some files. He paid no attention to Liam as he walked towards his chair and sat on it.

Liam stared at him wondering why he looked so happy. He hummed and continued what he was doing.

After he was done, he was about walking out of the office when Brandon called him, making him stop.

"I want you to order a new dress for Hannah, she will be going to the banquet party with me," Brandon said Liam raised his eyebrows and then nodded in response before walking out of the office. Meanwhile, Hannah who is seen in her office heard a knock on her office door. She stood up and went to open the door.

"Hi, Mrs Colby, " A lady said as she walked inside the office holding a vase of flowers and putting it on her table.

"Hi, I didn't order flowers, you must be mistaken," Hannah said and the lady smiled.

"Someone did, and asked us to deliver it to you" she said and then brought out her phone and sent a text message to someone and just then more people holding a vase of different flowers walked in and arranged the flowers everywhere. Hannah stared at them looking confused, she wondered who would have gotten her flowers.

She brought out her phone and decided to call Brandon as she felt he would be the only one who would send her flowers.

She dialed his number and it was ringing, she watched the people who had brought the flower leave her office. Just then she saw a piece of letter attached to one of the flowers on her table.

She moved towards the flower and took the paper.

"Hey," she heard Brandon's voice from the other side of the phone.

"Did you send me flowers?" She asked as she held the piece of paper and read what was written on it.

"I'm sorry for last night, I promise to apologize to everyone as you've said" she read and then it dawned on her it was Lucas who sent it.

"No, I didn't send any flowers," Brandon said and Hannah sighed.

"Yeah, about that, I already know who did," she said and ended the call.

She wondered why Lucas would be sending her flowers at work, not one or two but lots of flowers, and this was too much. What was she going to use it for, she thought, staring around.

She decided to arrange the flowers in one corner of her office, maybe she would share them among the workers, she thought and just then the door to her office burst open revealing Brandon who had a strange look on his face. The moment he entered Hannah's office he saw lots of flowers. Her office was filled with flowers. He had frowned but then quickly replaced the frown on his face with a curious look.

Even without a seer telling him, he knew who had sent it, it was no other person than Lucas. He was the only one stupid enough to send his wife, Flowers.

"Who sent you flowers?" He asked, pretending not to know it was Lucas who sent it and Hannah turned to him.

"Lucas, he was apologizing for last night," Hannah said and Brandon raised his eyebrows.

"Apologizing for last night? Over what?" He asked.

His brother wasn't taking a new leaf, he's trying to play games here. How dare he send my woman flowers, he thought angrily.

"I'll send someone to get rid of the flowers," Brandon said

"What? This was gotten with lots of money, you cannot just get rid of it like that. It's better to give it out than waste it" she said and Brandon glared at her for a few seconds. "My decision is made, I'm getting rid of the flowers," Brandon said and made some calls. It wasn't long before some people came in with Liam and got rid of all the flowers. "Please do not throw the flowers away, you can give them to the workers," she said to Liam who nodded in response.

When they were done packing everything off her office, Brandon turned to Hannah.

"I don't want you accepting any gift from Lucas. If you need flowers, you could just tell me you need them " he said and walked out of the office angrily, not giving Hannah the chance to speak. Hannah sighed softly not knowing what to say. She wondered if Brandon was jealous, she thought as she checked her time.

The banquet party would be starting in thirty minutes, she needed to go home and dress up, she thought as she picked up her bag and glanced at the letter on her table.

She picked it up and dumped it in the bin, and with that, she walked out of her office.
