Choices of the Moon Book 2 : the human and the wolf

Chapter 12

Ellie

My real desire was to have sex with Louis right there again, but today there wouldn't be time for that, I needed to take him to Jaque's room, before the organization ended, it was the only way we would have a chance of not being seen.

Louis seemed to miss me more than I missed him, he just wouldn't let me go, from the kiss on my lips he slid to my neck, I tried to let him know that we needed to go.

"Come on, we can't stay here, my dad can see you." I said amidst gasps and moans that escaped my lips, as he kissed my neck and I felt my reason slip through my fingers, the shivers he made me feel were so intense that if he continued I would give in.

"I still don't understand why your father can't see me." He responded, but I chose to ignore him and take him by the arm and went with him to my car.

I needed to take Louis soon.

I drove to the Pack's house and parked in the usual spot.

"Don't take off this mask, and stays behind me." I recommended and got out of the car in a hurry.

I checked to see if the coast was clear and pulled Louis by the arm.

"I won't argue, but I think it's unnecessary." He said whispering in my ear as we passed through the hallways.

"Shhh, just come with me." I said and we walked through the kitchen while my parents finished deciding which appetizer would be served first.

I mentally thanked them that they hadn't seen us, and ran up the stairs and took Louis to Jaque's room, who welcomed us with her usual wide eyes.

"You're Jaque, right?" Louis said, extending his hand and Jaque greeted him with a smile.

"Yes, good to see you Louis." Jaque replied, but she turned to me. "Ellie, are you sure? What if your parents come in here, or my parents?"

"Do you all live in this house?" Louis asked curiously.

How would I explain this?

"Yes, our parents are like brothers and are the presidents of the company, so we all live here." I answered him first, before Jaque said anything, and then I turned to her. "Sis, thank you for letting him stay in your room, but don't worry, my parents always go crazy before the dances, I only see them at the party, and the idea is that you won't even sleep here tonight." I replied to her and saw my friend's cheeks blush.

But then I heard the sound of the door behind me, and the smell of him hit me before I turned around, the woodsy, ocean-bottom scent I inherited from with my mother's hints of jasmine.

I didn't even have to turn around to know it was my father.

"Jaque, honey, I found Ellie very tense today..." His voice took over and he stopped suddenly.

I felt dread run down my spine and I was overcome with fear as my heart began to race, and I turned to face him.

I already knew that everything was going to go very wrong.

"Who are you?" My dad asked Louis, and I didn't even have time to interfere when he took off his mask and held out his hand.

"Mr. Scherer, I'm Louis Harrison, we signed the reservation contract together and..."

My father didn't let Louis finish.

"A human?" My father screamed in my direction, and in Jaque's direction, and his canines came down, the scream came out hoarse and animalistic, almost a growl, his wolf's eyes took the place of his, and he looked like something between human and wolf, the two shared the same body.

Louis widened his eyes and looked in my direction.

"Dad, I can explain, he's the..."

"Is he the human you were seeing Ellie? And you thought it would be a good idea to bring him into the Pack? To the Moon Ball? Even though I asked you to wait for the Ball to pass..."

At that moment I felt pain in my father's voice, pain and suffering, I had broken the promise I made to him.

"You are...?" Louis couldn't finish his sentence, I saw him looking at the door.

"Calm down, Louis, we're not going to hurt you..." I started to speak, I needed him to calm down, but I saw him put his hand on his chest, and he tried to walk to the door, but my father took a step to the side blocking the way and I saw Louis fall to the ground.

"Now that you know, you can't go..." My father said, and I saw Louis melting on the floor, losing his mind, I ran to him, but when my fingers touched him, he dodged.

"Don't touch me..." He began to hyperventilate. "I'm going to have a panic attack, I need my medicine..." He said before he started choking and took a pill from his pocket, he managed to put it in his mouth and swallow it.

"Now you go to a cell, and I'll see what we do with you later." My father said to Louis, and only then did he look at me, and I felt the worst thing I had ever felt in my life, my father looked at me with disappointment. "Damn Ellie."

And then I saw Louis look at me scared, before fainting, and I felt my floor open up, my world collapse, and panic take over me, I've never felt so much despair in my life.

The next movements I saw in slow motion, I saw my father shouting into the hallway calling for some guards, Louis being dragged away, and I just wanted him to be okay, I was worried, and I tried to go after him, but my mother came running and held me.

"He needs a doctor..." I started to say, babbling as I cried, uncontrollably.

"I'll send a doctor for him, but you need to calm down." She told me, but it was impossible, the despair I felt was so great that if something happened to Louis, I think I would die with him, and I was the one who took him there, if something happened it would be my fault, and that made me start crying even more. "Ellie, calm down." My mother started talking as she brushed the tear-soaked hair out of my face, but I couldn't calm down.

"I love him, mom." It was the only thing I could say looking into her eyes, and it seems like something I said sparked something in her.

"Gerald, there's something wrong with this story." My mother said to my father, but he didn't seem to care, but then she said something through their mental connection, and he wrinkled his nose.

"I'll call Clark." He said walking down the hall.
