Cherry Dryad ( gxb )

Chapter 1

Finally, the beloved moment came for Vivienne Holmes when she could cross the threshold of her dream fashion college. Because she had been dreaming of going to him for a long time, and after a long battle, she finally succeeded. However, her joy was unfortunately covered by black clouds. When one fine day she found her boyfriend with another girl in bed. It would be a shame if she didn't know this girl, but that wasn't the case! Especially since it was the day when they were supposed to hang out cards with the names of people who were lucky enough to get to this particular profile. Considering that she had suspected for some time that something was going on, but she thought that she was just oversensitive and that was all.

But now Vivienne regretted that she had not listened to her inner voice that told her not to ignore it. Unfortunately, it was too late and there was nothing she could do about it. Even more so, she couldn't come to terms with the fact that the girl her boyfriend was cheating with was her best friend named Madeleine Carter! Which, as we know, she had not taken into account in this respect and now she regretted it very much! So it's no wonder that what else could she say in a case like this, if not what she actually said? Because anyone in her position would say that if they had to deal with something like that, right?

“How could you do this to me! And with my best friend!,” Vivienne screamed after a while, right after she saw them in bed together.

“Baby, it's not what you think!,” Dustin Burns tried to save himself.

Although he knew perfectly well that the facts were against him, and even more so against Madeleine Carter herself. Madeleine Carter, who never expected Vivienne to return home so quickly from her trip to visit her extended family. If she had taken that into account, all this probably wouldn't be happening now. However, she couldn't do anything about it and could only be angry with herself for her stupidity. That's why she spoke this way, trying to somehow alleviate this unfortunate situation.

“Please, calm down... I'll explain everything to you in a moment…,” Madeleine started to say to Vivienne, being her former friend.

Vivienne, however, had no intention of letting her finish her statement. That's because she wasn't going to hear what she had to say. What she saw was enough for the blonde haired woman to know what she had to do next!

“You have nothing to say to me! It's over! If you cared about my friend so much, you should have been with her, not me! I don't want to know you, get out of my sight!,” Vivienne announced after a while, interrupting them mid-sentence while packing her things.

Especially since she had no intention of staying in this lousy place any longer, she was one hundred percent sure! That's why she didn't pay any attention to them at all, because they didn't care about them at all. This was because she was disappointed in both of them, which, as we know, hurt even more. Because it concerned the person she called her best friend just a moment ago. And the person who was her boyfriend a moment ago before he decided to cheat on her with that person. No wonder that tears began to flow down her face, smearing the makeup she had so carefully applied. Vivienne slowly began to wonder if it was really possible for her to have no one to rely on other than her family?

However, before she took her cell phone out of her purse and called a taxi, she left the ill-fated apartment and went outside. Luckily, Vivienne hadn't fully moved in with him yet, so she didn't really have much baggage. Whereas she was fully expected to move in with him if she got into that college. Unwillingly, she felt her stomach begin to tighten with despair. She always felt like this when scenes like this happened and there was nothing she could do about it. Eventually she focused on calling that damn taxi. She only breathed a little relief once she was inside her and could focus on blocking these two people's phone numbers.

Not forgetting about those damn social media, which she didn't regret at all. And she decided to focus on what was really waiting for her. However, this time, he will give up on this so-called overrated love. Because how many more times did the blonde have to suffer before she was finally happy? Especially since she recently turned eighteen. However, before she made the remaining blocks, she decided to dial her mother's phone number and was currently waiting for her mother to answer the call. Finally, after some time, she heard that her mother finally answered the call and heard her voice in the loudspeaker.

“What happened to make you call me so harshly?,” Vivienne's mother asked after a while.

She was a bit disturbed by the annoying ringing, like an alarm, from her beloved daughter.

“What do you think? I got into the school I love, that's one thing, and secondly, I'm coming home and not moving out, as I had previously planned. That's because I found my best friend in bed with my boyfriend, that's what happened!,” Vivienne explained after a while, her voice now dispassionate.

At the same time, trying at all costs to control her conflicting emotions that could erupt at any moment. Only when she let out what was currently inside her, she could finally feel real relief.

“I'm glad you managed to get in, because I know how hard you tried to make it! And besides, don't worry about them, it's obvious that they didn't deserve you. And this supposed friend of yours seemed suspicious from the very beginning and I wouldn't be surprised that she was behind not only what you found now, but also the other cases! To cheer you up, I sent you something special that will definitely improve your mood. But you've been dreaming about this for a long time,” the mother replied after a while, trying to cheer up her daughter.

Although she probably realized that she didn't always get it right, Vivienne just sighed softly at the sound of her mother's words. That's because, no matter how you look at it, she was actually completely right about it. Only now did it dawn on her that if she had paid attention to the subtle signs, she would not have suffered again now. It was obvious that Madeleine was simply playing with her as if she were her own toy. She didn't want to admit it, but the words pressed against her mind, making her cry more.

“You're absolutely right about that, it was my fault for not noticing it!,” Vivienne said after a while in response to her mother's words.

“Daughter, it wasn't your fault! You have no right to say that! It was her fault that she turned out to be such a person!,” replied the mother after a while, trying to reason with her daughter.

“In fact, and in this respect, you are also right! Why should I beat myself up over people like her!,” Vivienne finally announced, finally admitting that her mother was right.

Shortly after that, Vivienne ended the conversation with her mother, because she was just reaching the destination of her journey. At the same time, she felt like an idiot who was senselessly clinging to someone who, as we all knew, wasn't really worth her. If Dustin cared about her, he probably wouldn't have cheated on her on the side with his now ex-friend. And if Madeleine really was her, she wouldn't have destroyed their friendship in such a stupid way. She didn't even notice when she sighed softly again, brushing her blonde hair out of her face. Right after she stood in front of her family home, which was much farther than her beloved University.

It was already after tea anyway, so there was no way Vivienne was going to look for an empty place in the dormitory. Because she would probably find him now anyway, at that moment, she was one hundred percent sure. Maybe next year he would be there, when the last year finishes his studies. Finally, she waved it off and casually turned the key in the lock to open the door to the house. This was the only way she could go inside and turn on the light in the hall. Without a second thought, she rushed her things inside, arranging them so as not to break her legs later.
