Cherished By Seven Sisters

Chapter 964

Chapter 964 Cool Down
Hmm, Sylvia’s emotions are rather unstable right now. Perhaps giving her some time to cool down might allow her to see things
more clearly. Ameera expressed her regret, “Since you have spoken in such a manner, you should prioritize your family matter. I
wish you success in completing your family mission soon, and then we can discuss your marriage.”
“I will.” Zephyr swiftly departed from the Morris residence. .
At Martial Arts Alliance Inquisition, Jipsdale, Chanaca, Jerome wore a solemn expression.
Standing beside him was Elduin, a guardian of Sky Devourer Palace
The two of them respectfully gazed at the figure seated ahead, Emrys.
Emrys wasn’t avoiding Cordelia. Rather, he genuinely had a matter of national importance to attend to.
The former leader of Jipsdale Martial Arts Alliance Headquarters, Endre, had fled.
Moreover, Endre had even taken away the Martial Arts Alliance’s supreme token.
That was the highest–ranking token within the Martial Arts Alliance, symbolizing the authority of Chanaea Martial Arts Alliance.
Naturally, it couldn’t be taken away casually.
Jerome said, “Your Highness, the inquisition has conducted a covert investigation on Endre. During his tenure, he maintained a
close relationship with a certain samurai family in Jetroina. Many of our Chanaea’s significant artefacts have passed through his
hands and ended up in possession of that samurai family. After we obtained the crucial evidence, we immediately decided to
arrest Endre. However, he managed to evade us, fleeing to Tetroina before we could apprehend him. Regarding the situation in
Jetroina, the Inquisi intervene. Therefore, I reported this matter to General Elduin. In the name of the sky Devourer Palace,
General Elduin exerted pressure on Jetroina. However, Jetroina has been persistently unresponsive.”
Listening to Jerome’s report, Emrys narrowed his eyes slightly, his voice cold. “As expected, Levente and Endre are no good.
Elduin, have you been in touch with Hidden Fighters Alliance?”
“Your Highness, I’ve already made contact,” Elduin respectfully reported, “However, they responded that they, too, are unable to
help.”
“Is there no way?” A chilling aura suddenly erupted from Emrys. “It seems like Matteo is begging to be killed!”

Matteo was originally the vice chief of Hidden Fighters Alliance. However, after Regan died at Sku Devourer Peak he took over
the position of the Alliance’s leader
He was one of the earliest from Jetroina Hidden Fighters Alliance to pledge his loyalty to Emrys.
Unexpectedly, he actually had the audacity to respond that there was no solution.
It seems he has been living comfortably these days, and is now looking for a beating. Emrys felt it was necessary to bring some
sense into Matteo.
With an apologetic expression, Elduin said, “My apologies. I have failed in my duties.”
It wasn’t just Elduin. All thirty–five guardians of Sky Devourer Palace knew their lord wanted each of them to be able to hold up
their own piece of sky instead of relying on him for everything.
Under normal circumstances, they were generally reluctant to disturb Emrys.
However, many things weren’t as simple as one might imagine.
Just like the previous time, nations around the globe thought that Sky Devourer Lord had perished on that little island in the
Pollerton Ocean, each one not knowing how wildly they were behaving.
At that time, everyone in Sky Devourer Palace understood. The martial arts organizations from around the world weren’t actually
afraid of Sky Devourer Palace itself, but rather, they feared Sky Devourer Lord.
That was all there was to it.
The last time at Sky Devourer Peak, if Sky Devourer Lord hadn’t stepped in when he did, the world of martial artists would have
likely undergone a monumental shift.
The same thing was happening again.
The supreme token of Central Chanaean Martial Arts Alliance had been lost. If Sky Devourer Lord didn’t intervene, leaving it to
Sky Devourer Palace to exert pressure, it was feared that Jetroina would continue to respond with an indifferent attitude.
It was a rather frustrating reality to the others in the Palace.

Emrys‘ eyes sparkled as he said, “You shouldn’t blame yourself. This has nothing to do with you. I was the one who used to
oversimplify the world.”
After encountering Mount Kushburn and the totem family, Emrys realized that those seemingly powerful forces were, in fact,
incredibly weak.
