Chapter 926
Chapter 926 Merciless
“Pah!”
Duncan spat in Gideon’s face, glaring at him with furious eyes. “D“mn it! Old man, do you not want to live peacefully?”
A shadow of gloom surfaced in Gideon’s eyes. He raised his hand and landed a slap across Duncan’s face. In a hurry, Logan
interjected, “Mr. Judd, he’s just an ordinary man!”
An ordinary man, well into his seventies, was naturally frail. Gideon was a cultivator, and it was estimated that if he were to strike
with his palm, it could potentially result in a fatal incident on the spot.
Unable to hold back, Logan offered a reminder.
Gideon had sobered up slightly. The force behind his hit had been reduced by ninety. percent, yet it was still enough to send
Duncan stumbling to the ground, a trace of fresh blood seeping from the corner of his mouth. “You’re still of use to me. Contact
Emrys for met immediately!”
Gideon cast a glance at Duncan, noticing the latter’s indifference. Suddenly, he grabbed the person next to him, the old woman
he was just chatting with, and sneered, “So, you admire Empyrean Lord?”
“D–Don’t...”
The old woman’s face was instantly filled with terror, yet Gideon didn’t show the slightest bit of compassion. He continued to
sneer, “Since you admire him so much, dying for him. should be considered an honor, right?”
With that, he snapped the old woman’s neck.
Crack!
At that moment, everyone was taken aback. A murder has occurred! He actually has the audacity to kill someone!
“Spare me, please!”
These ordinary folks, who had never before witnessed such a brutal villain, were instantly paralyzed with fear, trembling
uncontrollably on the ground.
“Mr. Judd-”
“Shut up!” Gideon commanded think they are innocent? Do you sympathize with them? Who showed sympathy when my son
died?” Gideon thundered.
Suddenly, Gideon’s face contorted, his aura fluctuating intensely.
Logan suddenly furrowed his brows. This isn’t a good sign at all. Mr. Judd, after suffering the pain of losing a son, has become
somewhat unhinged. Now, he’s actually attacking these ordinary people who are incapable of defending themselves. How is this
any different from a demonic cultivator? If the higher–ups at Cloudmist Academy were to find out about this matter, Mr. Judd
would likely have to pay with his life as an apology. However, he’s already acting like this. He probably doesn’t care about the
consequences anymore!
Logan’s brows were tightly knitted as he looked at Duncan and said, “I think you’d better call Emrys over here immediately!”
Truth be told, even before Gideon made his move to kill the old woman, Duncan had already been frantically making phone calls.
He truly hadn’t anticipated that this man would be completely lawless.
Struggling to keep his trembling hands steady, Duncan managed to find Emrys number and dialed it. However, there was no
response despite his persistent attempts.
“Master Lund, please answer the phone quickly!” Duncan became flustered, repeatedly dialing Emrys number.
No matter how many times he dialed the number, no one answered the phone.
Left with no other option, he changed the number and called Caylie. This time, the prompt. indicated that the phone was
switched off.
The phone is switched off... Immediately, Duncan was engulfed by an overwhelming sense of helplessness.
“What’s taking so long?” A glint of coldness shot through Gideon’s eyes, once again revealing a trace of his lethal ferocity.
A shiver ran through Duncan, aware that this dangerous man could likely kill again. However, he couldn’t get through to Emrys,
and there was nothing he could do. Terrified, he stammered, “1–I can’t get through to him...”
“Can’t get through? That means they don’t care about your lives! Keep calling until you get through!” Gideon roared.
A harsh aura emanated from Gideon as he prepared to seize another person. At this point, Logan could no longer hold back. He
said in a deep voice, “Mr. Judd, I can no longer stand by as you slaughter the innocent.”
“The one who killed Mr. Yadiel was Emrys. These people have nothing to do with it. Please, clear your mind, Mr. Judd!” Logan
pleaded.
“My mind is clear. Move out of my way!”
