Chasing Back My Ex-wife

Chapter 13

"Miss, where are you headed?" The driver gave her a strange look in the rearview mirror.
Lucy wrapped her clothes around herself and spoke quickly, "Head to Levi Street on Bospar Walk. Hurry!"
She looked out of the window at the Bentley that was being left further and further behind, but she still felt worried.
She hoped that meeting him today was only an accident and may she never meet him again!
Half an hour later, the taxi arrived at the destination. Lucy paid the fare and went upstairs into the building. Only then did she
relax her tensed muscles and collapse to the floor.
After a while, she slowly got up and went into the bathroom. She turned on the shower and let the cold water cascade over her
body.
Tears rolled down her face and soon vanished into the stream of cold water.
Crack!
Someone opened the door and shouted, "Lucy, are you home? I brought Caden back!"
"I'm here. Darling!" Lucy hurriedly wiped her face, wrapped a towel around herself, and walked out.
Kylah, who had short hair and was wearing a white t-shirt with blue jeans, was in the living room. She looked trendy and cool.
She was carrying a little boy with nice features who looked very much like Arthur.
"Mommy!" Caden smiled and tried his best to break away from Kylah.
"There's no use calling for your mom when you secretly kissed another girl!" Kylah patted his butt and put him down. "You'd
better reflect on yourself!"
"There's no use calling for your mom when you secretly kissed another girl!" Kylah patted his butt and put him down. "You'd

better reflect on yourself!"
"Mommy—" As soon as Caden's feet touched the floor, he ran to his mother and hugged her legs while calling out in a gentle
voice.
Lucy picked him up and kissed his cheek. She looked a little helpless as she said, "Who did you kiss this time?"
Arthur was posh and indifferent, and he hated women putting their hands all over him. In contrast, his son had always had pretty
girls on his mind since he was little.
They looked so alike, but why were they such polar opposites?
"Go back to your room, naughty boy. I need talk to your mom!" Kylah had inadvertently spotted the hickeys on Lucy and her
expression turned sour at once.
When she noticed where Kylah was looking, Lucy subtly covered the hickeys on her chest with her towel. However, there were
too many and she couldn't cover them all.
"I don't want to!" Caden held on to his mom and turned Kylah down directly.
"How brave of you to talk back to me!" Kylah pretended to roll up her sleeves and carried him to his room, then locked the door
from the outside.
"Out with it, what happened?" Kylah crossed her arms and looked at Lucy coldly.
Lucy sat on the couch lazily and brushed her hair to one side, exposing her slender neck. "Nothing much happened. I just ran
into a j*rk who's on heat."
"Arthur?" Kylah couldn't think of anyone besides him.
Lucy made a sound of agreement and lowered her eyelids, her long eyelashes veiling the look in her eyes.

"Oh god, what are you thinking?" Kylah braced her arms against the couch, trapping Lucy inside. She was furious. "Was being
his sex partner for three years not enough? You're serving yourself to him on a platter again now?"
"Babe, don't get worked-up. I just ran into him on the streets." Lucy put her arms around Kylah's neck and explained in a gentle
voice.
Kylah let out a sigh of relief and sat down on the couch, crossing her legs. "As long as your common sense hasn't left you. Don't
forget how that idiot treated you five years ago! If it wasn't for the plane incident, you wouldn't have been able to give birth to
Caden!"
"I know what I'm doing." Thinking of how he had said she wasn't worthy of bearing his child, Lucy's expression became slightly
gloomy.
Buzz—
Buzz—
A phone was vibrating.
